1 /5 Ceonnie Ashanti: I recently went twice and both times people who came AFTER ME (the second time it’s was 3 women who all came after and were sitting in chairs before me and they just so happened to be Hispanic while I’m black)finished before me and both times I had to leave with my hair halfway done(and by half way I mean literally only dried)because I’d been sitting there for 2+ hours already. This has only happened when the blonde haired woman was there. When Maritza herself does my hair it’s no problem whatsoever. I think the woman is her sister idk nor do I care because at this point I will not be returning.

It is rare to find a consistently excellent salon over this many years. I highly recommend this salon in Schenectady; it is warm, friendly and they know what they are doing. I will still have appointments with them while I am in the area.

Judith Hawkins: Heather is the owner of the Salon and she is my stylist. For years I have been asked who does my hair and that’s because she takes great care of my hair and the health of my hair. She is great at what she does and always makes you feel valued when you are in her chair. She’s exceptional and I don’t think that is a hair challenge that would ever be too complex for her to take on! If she isn’t available one of the other professionals in her place would be able to assist as well. Heather takes great care in hand selecting the crew under the Salon X roof. She truly is one of the best!
