5 /5 Sophia D: Aside from the art exhibits inside, there’s tons of sculptures and things to see outside. The architecture itself is worth the trip alone. Kids are free, retirees are free as well. The atrium has a huge skylight and places to sit and eat and there’s a little cafe inside that sells coffee, sandwiches etc. Friendly staff that engage with you about the artwork.

5 /5 Coral Johnson: I found the perfect adventure for a rainy Sunday afternoon-made my first visit to Rochester Memorial Art Gallery. FYI-if you zoom in on the inverted American Gothic portrait, you’ll see it’s made entirely of spools of sewing thread-only seen when you open your camera to take a picture! My favorite was the French Realism paintings.

5 /5 Jenny Paxson: The front desk staff were amazing. I really appreciate their kindness. I was impressed with all the beautiful artwork. Its always awe inspiring to see art in person. I loved peeling onions and the maxfield parish. There are just too many to count. Also the going baroque organ music was wonderful. Not only music but a history lesson too. The students are very talented.

Warner Castle - Rochester

Beverly M Chapman: As a World Solo Traveler; I chose Rochester NY as my Latest Destination. (Also to visit Family) I have always been intrigued by ANY Historical Landmarks or Distinguished Locations. Even though the interior was in the process of being renovated and the entry was closed, I was still allowed by permission to walk around the exterior of this Castle and Take Photos. The Architectural Design and Craftsmanship of Warner Castle is Simply Breathtaking. Not very many Actual Castles remain in this Condition in the United States. Walk around and just absorb the energy and the beauty of this place.

Eric Bracken: Probably one of the most unique places in Rochester! Take a rainy day and spend a few hours being entertained. The Frank Lloyd Wright room is my favorite.

Susan B. Anthony Museum & House - Rochester

K OBR: Hard a great experience. We arrived a couple of minutes late but were processed quickly and led to get into a tour already in progress. We didnt miss much. The guide was exceptional. She told so many interesting stories and kept us engaged. Only caution is there are stairs, some steep. You dont have to climb, but there is no elevator as this house is historic.

Cassie Webb: What a beautiful spot. Im from the Geneva, NY area, and when I learned August 7th happened to be National Lighthouse Day, I wanted to visit one Id never seen before. I visited with a group of elderly, ambulatory individuals and although the museum was closed, the information posted outside across several podium-type info graphics tucked between flower beds on a solid pathway. I would say the area is wheelchair accessible, but I cant recall seeing access to the museum. The view over the marina is beautiful, Im sure its worth going back to see when the trees change and the museum is open. Thanks for making our National Lighthouse Day memorable.

Jacquie Woods: Absolutely beautiful! Hiking trails, baseball, basketball, lit tennis courts, playground, dog parks, and so much more. Theres at least 1 EV charger that I saw. The reservoir area is a great walk/run too! We had a great hike!

Corbetts Glen Nature Park - Rochester

Jenny Twardowski: A well-maintained, family-friendly trail that leads to multiple small waterfalls. The terrain is mostly flat, with only one noteworthy hill. It had very little mud, even after heavy rain. I look forward to returning!

Clubhouse Fun Center - Rochester

Nicholas Ancelin: Exceptional staff. Under renovations. Good food. Arcade. Mini golf was a lot of fun. Would go again.

Tinker Nature Park / Hansen Nature Center - Pittsford

Alisa M Oldacre: Great place for nature and wildlife fanatics, as well as history buffs! The trails are awesome, winding through wetlands, dense forests, and fields of wildflowers. Theres a historical house and conservatory building on-site, with lots of educational stations that highlight the history of the area and the wildlife within the park. There are clean restrooms, tons of parking, and even picnic shelters. Great place to spend the day!
