5 /5 Allix Swanson: I just had a root canal done with Dr. Ian Prins, and he was the most patient, and kind dentist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I was extremely nervous, and had several questions about the procedures and the aftermath, and he took the time to talk me through each scenario. He genuinely made me feel heard and I felt very comfortable in his care. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to him to others in the area, but especially military families looking to see someone they can trust. Given that there aren’t any Endodontists within 100 miles from here that are covered by our insurance, I would gladly pay out of pocket again for his service, and that says a lot. Thank you Dr Prins for your 10/10 care!!!!

1 /5 Joshua Adams: Went with tooth/gum pain left with it to. Told me to brush and floss which I literally do twice a day. 2 weeks later still have the same pain going to have to make another appointment with a dentist that will help.

5 /5 Jaclyn W: Let me just say, regardless of what I say here, a root canal is a 0/10 recommended event. However, the office staff, assistant, and doctor were all very nice and very professional. The doctor listened to me regarding my historical resistance to any anesthetics tried so far and took his time and a lot of medication to make sure I was comfortable throughout a 2+ hour ordeal. I walked in there terrified (I have general, severe anxiety around dentists and, particularly, dental procedures) and always hearing how bad root canals are to go through. Again, while this was not fun and not a way anyone should aim to spend a couple of hours of their life, the experience was about as painless and positive of one as it could have been. It was so much better/easier than I had been expecting.

5 /5 Sasha Hernandez: I came here as a referral, originally from coming from Texas, the dentist is one of the best that I have encountered. Addressed my issue, educated me on my condition (TMJ) and still went in and made sure all of my teeth were in working order, he’s also very gentle! 10/10 would recommend for anyone nervous about getting dental work done. Office staff were also very nice and helpful.

2 /5 Jennifer snyder: Our participating provider dentist referred my daughter for a root canal. Modern Endodontics checked to make sure it was completely covered by my insurance. It was. At the visit, Dr. Chan said only a partial root canal was necessary and was performed. Turns out that was not covered by my insurance and I am now stuck with a $550 bill. If I was aware this procedure wasnt covered I wouldve looked into other options that were. Modern Endodontics didnt warn me that this may be the case. I will admit everything else was great but having to pay an unexpected $550 wasnt worth it.
