5 /5 Kiersten Merrill: I was recently a patient in five north at St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, New York, and had the pleasure of having Patrick K as a nurse . He was the most attentive, compassionate, understanding, nurse that I’ve had in my entire stay. It’s always a strange feeling when you’re away from your family and your home, but Patrick made sure that I was at ease, that all my needs were taken care of, and that I was comfortable enough to actually get some sleep! I was so grateful to have the experience of his excellent care !

4 /5 Christina Ruud: Having visited this ER three times, Im consistently impressed by the staffs compassion and professionalism. They maintain such positive attitudes even while dealing with difficult situations, and it makes a huge difference during a stressful time. Thank you for your hard work and dedication! However I will say that billing has messed up in the past causing frustrating complications that took quite some time to get fixed.

5 /5 Chrisitne Prechtel: My personal experience at St. Luke’s was fantastic. From security and front desk, to registration, to the nurses and doctors and all staff in between, everyone was SO kind and caring. I had a semi-emergent surgery done there and everything went well. Took forever but being as I work in healthcare, I completely understand WHY. Plus, they explained everything to me. Now, yes, I was charged a ridiculous copay (thanks insurance), and they told me I had to pay or I couldn’t do the procedure. HOWEVER, they are more than willing to a payment plan. You just have to give them something upfront. Anything you can afford. Being as this was last minute, I could only offer $50 of my $200 copay and they accepted, no issues at all. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the level of care this hospital gave me today. 5 starts all around.
