Tisch Hospital - New York Agnes Lekk: I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Tisch Hospital and all the medical and nursing staff for the excellent care they provided me during the birth of my child. From the first moment I felt safe, supported and warm, invaluable elements in such an important moment of my life. A special thank you to my gynecologist, Dr Justin Brandt, for everything he has done for me, his dedication, patience and impeccable scientific training. His presence gave me strength and confidence at every step of this beautiful but demanding route.
His patience, scientific excellence and human approach made the birth of my child a beautiful and safe experience. My heartfelt thanks to the whole team for their excellent care and support!”
There really are no words to express how grateful and pleased I am. The paediatricians, the nursing staff, the excellent gynecologists and the entire maternity department are all unique. I thank God for sending me this amazing doctor Dr. Brandt!
Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital - New York Voy Anuszkiewicz: This facility and staff is world-class in every aspect of operations. The environment is calm and soothing, super clean, Starbucks coffee and pastries sold at cost. I am very genuinely impressed and high recommend their medical services.
NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell - New York Kerlyn I: This hospital did not meet my expectations because it is too expensive and when I requested an MRI for my autistic son, they did not know how to answer me or give me options. What they tell you is that if you want to do more tests, they will not help you with your concerns about autism. The worst thing of all is that they are not clear from the beginning. They also do not let you pay a small amount of money and they send you a form knowing that I do not apply for anything. Because in this state they only look at what your partner earns without seeing that the other party does not work and has expenses everywhere. Really, health care should not be so expensive for those of us who pay taxes and have children with conditions.
ColumbiaDoctors - Third Avenue - New York PhilYouIn: Visited the Opthamologist department on the second floor. Lots of seating in the waiting room, which was good because the place was packed. Was called in at 12:15 for my noon appointment, which was fine with me. Office is a labyrinth of exam rooms and waiting rooms, all spotlessly clean. Everyone working there is friendly and knowledgeable, and behaved professionally. Terrific experience.
Mount Sinai Morningside - New York Xai: Absolutely a garbage, nightmarish, and horrible hospital. Id give this a 0 if I could. The staff is horrendous, they refused to help upon meeting with them and on phone its even worse. I was inquiring about the status of something and they didnt even let me finish my sentence. Soon after, I had business with the radiology department to drop off some goods. At the lobby, the attendant ignored me and told me to go away and denied my entry because the staff wasnt picking up their department phones and security was apparently non existent so they couldnt let me in to drop off medicinal goods. Meanwhile the staff at the department are too busy chatting with eachother sitting down and playing games on their phones. While the main department attendant had a rude attitude and didnt even want to talk to me. And seeing all these other reviews, I can see why youd want to avoid it. Avoid this hospital at all costs, the people here dont want to do their job, lack professionalism and lack respect and courtesy. From the way it looks in person, and the reviews here, they seem treat patients the same. Save yourself from this hell hole. This happened last month and it still baffles me that a hospital could be this bad.
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center - New York Ellen Behar Issersohn: Had surgery in July,2022. Absolutely horrific experiences
there as I was physically assaulted 3 times by certain malicious nurses in the 2nd post op. I reported it to my physician and other nursing staff, and hospital complaint department. They told me they were referring my complaints to their legal dept. and told my surgeon not to treat me anymore! Despicable!!!
NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns - New York Helen Herrera: I highly recommend this hospital to anyone. My birth experience was truly magical, thanks to the incredible team. Words cant fully express how grateful I am. It felt like I was in a five-star hotel, and I never wanted to leave. To my surgeon and all the nurses, thank you for taking such wonderful care of me. A special thank you to Cynthia (RN) for being so kind and patient with me. To everyone on the 18th floor, I will never forget you.
North General Hospital - New York Francisca Cortes: My experience has not been very good, especially with the security who is checking the bags before entering the hospital, they are very arrogant, they even take your wallet with the tips of your fingers as if you stink, oh, we are going to infect them with something, you feel uncomfortable, I dont I am against them checking the backpacks that is very good but the attitude of the security uuf
New York Medicine Doctors - New York Kevin Chow: I received terrible care, and many mistakes were made both in the office and with Dr. Timashpolsky.
I came in with a hand injury and was referred for an X-ray. After having the X-ray at Langone, I found out that my hand was broken. I tried to follow up with Dr. Timashpolsky, who told me that my hand looked “normal.” Later, I discovered that I had been confused with a different patient who also had a hand injury. I repeatedly tried to contact the office and the doctor to clarify the diagnosis and receive treatment, however the message portal was down and their office was almost impossible to reach. It is a terrible system. I never received a follow-up or explanation. I don’t believe the message ever reached her. In the end, I basically googled my x-ray findings and ordered a splint off of Amazon.
During my time dealing with this office, I had to get five referrals—whether for X-rays or an orthopedist—and all were written incorrectly, wasting both my time and theirs. After many mistakes, I learned how to write a proper referral and had to specifically ask them what needed to be included before they would write it incorrectly. Again, why am I basically treating myself here?
As someone who needs their hands for their occupation, this was an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. Every interaction left me confused, upset and so much of my time was wasted. My hand could have worsened or sustained permanent damage due to the lack of proper care. I won’t be returning.
