1 /5 Armenia Ruiz: My experience with Dr. Chen was worth well below one star. My personal needs were ignored, Dr. Chen entered the room with misconceived preconceptions about who I was, what my needs are, and my ability to understand what he was saying. He lacked professionalism, he proceeded with intimidating and dismissive tactics that were unethical and bias, and despite my visual discomfort he continued very unprofessionally and forcefully. I became discouraged and shut down, avoiding eye contact and when I did not respond according to how he desired with eye contact, even after reminding and assuring him I was listening to me, he became very dismissive and rude. My experience with Dr. Chen was cringe worthy, undeserving, and traumatic. I will not be returning to this medical facility. As a patient I should never had had to endure unprofessional and unethical behavior such as this from a medical professional in whom I am expected to trust and feel has my best interest in his mind. I have been to practices with more patience, understanding, empathy, and compassion that host providers with the professional ability and training to proceed professionally and encompass the values of being a healthcare provider. I hope no one else has to ever endure what I had to endure during my visit. His lack of empathy, compassion, and professionalism should be reviewed thoroughly to determine if he is the right fit for this practice.
