Matanzo Morgan (Beaumont 187): Worst staff ever the doctors never do nothing take you weeks to get a refill. All I do is there is chitchat and have fun and be on the phone and I’ll do nothing for the patience you go there for an appointment at 11. You don’t come out of there up till five or 6 o’clock in the afternoon. Worst doctors worst staff worse everything when 4 prescriptions on a Thursday today is Tuesday of the following week and I still haven’t got my refills yet my diabetes haven’t went away, so why I don’t have no refills.

Kiara Ramos: I recently had my baby 9-24-24 at this hospital. At first I was scared because of all the negative reviews HOWEVER I’m very happy with my decision with the nurses and labor and delivery team. They answered my call button quickly the nurses were very friendly and helpful they made sure that me and my baby boy were taken very good care of. I had my own private room with free T.V. The food was very delicious and had flavor.upon discharge I was given a free diaper bag filled with baby Essentials and postpartum care plus not to mention a free beautifully made fruit basket filled with cakes and fruit. I would most definitely come back here again and I highly recommend the labor and delivery unit . Thank you St.Barnabas for your excellent service !!

Justin Lawrence: This place is terrible. I was a patient here, and being held in this facility did nothing to help my mental health—in fact, it made things worse. When admitted, they made me sign documents without explaining what I was signing, taking advantage of people who are not in the right state of mind. Earlier this month, I hit an extreme low where I no longer saw the point in life. A friend called EMS, and I was brought here. Upon arrival, they took everything from me—my phone, wallet, and clothes—leaving me with nothing but my underwear. The staff was unhelpful and uncommunicative. The nurses never gave straight answers, constantly lying about when the doctor would see me. They would say "five minutes," but the doctor would either take much longer or never show up at all. The facility itself is isolating—there are no clocks or windows, so you have no sense of time, which only worsens your mental state. At one point, I reached a breaking point, and it took nine security guards to restrain me. One particular guard was especially rude and condescending; she should not be allowed to work with patients. To make matters worse, they don’t allow visitors. If your loved ones try to visit, they will be turned away, cutting you off from any outside support. Do not bring your struggling loved ones here. The staff does not care about the mentally ill, and this facility will only worsen their condition.

Crump Janice: This hospital have the rudest doctors I had to deal with in my life.. My mother was in NW stroke unit .The laziest nurses I met in my life was working in this department. Ms. Marg was the worst. The assistants in this department use all the short cuts for care for patients They ran out of supplys to care for patients. The Social Workers in this department, have no empathy for patients. My mother survive her hospital stay. I didnt think she was going to survive. But prayers do work. I can write a lot,I just want your to be aware. I was warn. I ignored it. They live up to their Reputation. Thanks God she still living.

Maya Jenkins: Dr. Kareem, Dr. Sytner, Angel, and all the nurses that have cared for my father over the years are PHENOMENAL. They are absolutely amazing and kind, they treat my father with a ton of respect and care. Best VA Hospital ever. The social workers are amazing too… Manny has helped us tremendously.

Saul Piazza: Ive been to this ER a few times on different days & times of the week in the past years. The care is always the same. Professional, caring and compassionate. The ER is crowded, its the Bronx. Waiting is something we have no control over. Its also triage. The person requiring more immediate care will get care before others. Honorable mention to Gary Scott M.D. So glad hes there at Monte/Einstein. Gr8 doctor!!!

Arianna Anais: I held off on writing this review because I had already had one negative experience with a pediatrician for my son before beginning to bring him to this clinic. Although I was uncomfortable with his pediatricians all wanting information and details on my pregnancy and birth despite him being healthy, all of the initial visits seemed fine. On the last visit before switching doctors the pediatrician hed been seeing was out and he had to be seen by a pediatrician named Dr N Maseda. Initially the visit seemed to be the same as the rest asking for details about his development and any concerns I might have had, when suddenly she asked my nine month old baby who mama was while doing a hand gesture around his head/body and behind his back that resulted in him pointing to her. When I noticed it and said did he just point at you when you asked him who mama was, she got surprised that I noticed and casually said yes before leaving the room and returning with a print out and a childrens book as a gift to for him. This was extremely disturbing and concerning to me and as a black single mother. I have to be extremely vigilant about people with my son and encourage all underprivileged single mothers of color to do the same. I would not recommend this clinic.

The doctor who saw me was very attentive and willing to make sure she got her diagnosis right. Thanks to all the staff at the Westchester Avenue location. I’m grateful.
