1 /5 Haieqa Nadeem: this was the worst salon experience I have ever had in my life. As a person with long hair I require haircuts a lot so I have different experience with salons and so far they have all been good until I came to this one. She very roughly trimmed my sisters hair and was brutally brushing her hair while yanking it. After ruining my sisters hair, she followed us outside the salon begging for a tip. Please do not go here, there are a lot of other options on Ave U. The picture shows the trim I payed $16 for.

Worst place ever did a terrible job dont think he spoke english told him what I wanted gave me exact opposite . went back to try and get it fixed looked even worse then he complained about me to the other worker there in chinise I went for cheap and thats what I got get what you pay for ruined my hair cut it to short and did not listen to what I wanted give bad haircuts nobody speaks english to bad I had to give 1 star my opinion 0 star would be more accurate

Happy Fruit: I came here because its closer and i didnt have to travel to Manhattan to the one i used to go. The young girl who washed my hair wasnt professional and did a random job. She splashed water all over my face. It was uncomfortable. This guy, Tony, whos one of the owners, cut my hair. He didnt cut as what i requested and said it wont fit me. Another barber from Manhattan cut the way i requested, and i loved it. I was ok with Tonys way as long as its better. He trimed my front layer way too short when i told him not to. I wasnt able to tight it up nit even after 3 months later. He pulled my hair hard while cutting it. It hurts. I have a lot of hair, and he complained about it the whole time. I didnt have a great experience here. It was cheaper than where i used to go but it wasnt that cheap here.

Assen C: Review for Inna – Unprofessional and Overbooked I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Inna. The wait time was unbelievable—I arrived at 10 AM and wasn’t attended to until 10:40 AM. My highlights, which should have been a straightforward process, dragged on from 10 AM to 3 PM because she was juggling four other clients at the same time. She would work on me for a few minutes, disappear to another client, and then return whenever she found the time. I specifically told her not to make me too blonde and asked for a more subtle result. She completely ignored my request, and I ended up just as blonde as before—because she forgot! When I pointed this out, instead of acknowledging the mistake, she became defensive, aggressive, and started screaming at me, insisting she did a great job. I understand handling multiple clients is stressful, but taking on five clients at once for highlights and extensions is beyond unreasonable. To top it all off, she charged me $300 for a service I did NOT ask for. Her attitude was basically, “Give me your money and go.” This level of service is unacceptable. If you want a stylist who actually listens, respects your time, and values your satisfaction—look elsewhere!

Kelley Sussman: No customer service at all , we arrived early for our haircut appointments me and my 85 year old Mom who is in a wheelchair, there was only one stylist working she looked up for the person she was working on and never said a word just went back to cutting her hair , we stood in the waiting area and 2 other worker came in walked right past us got hair dye from the back look right at us said nothing and left the salon then the hairwasher walked past us on her cell phone and she said nothing the stylist only acknowledge us after she walked past us to answer the phone and all she said was DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT I told her yes 1pm & 1:30pm ( it was 1:10 when she asked) I will be right with you she then finished the womans hair and I thought okay just a little late but no she then took the woman into a different room to wax her eyebrows it was now 1:20 pm that is when me and my mom left,we will NEVER go here ever again. I would give no stars if I could.

I decided to take a risk and try a random hair dresser while in Lowville for the day and I gotta say (no exaggeration) I got the best haircut of my life. He wasn’t kidding when he said he could cut any type of hair (mine is wavy/curly/thick-ish and was woefully uneven and had weird chunky layers when I showed up). I love the cozy, “my clients are like family”, small-town vibes of Tom’s shop. I will be back every year so long as he’s still working his magic. Thank you, Tom!

I went back and also had a mother to be massage at another time & it was incredible as well! The services, her compassion & kindness was by far the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere!
