Itβs hard to believe this church is in the United States! This was my second visit, and the church was so wonderfully decorated for the Christmas season. There was a beautiful nativity scene and many poinsettias placed around the altar. In the basement there were many nativity scenes from around the world on display. The museum is amazing as well! Very informative, and such a great and moving story.
Goat Island - Katie Miller: This was the best part of the park to view the falls. The Falls are beautiful and could watch them all day. The park was crowded but it is so large it did not feel crowded. Parking on Goat Island was $15 and there was plenty of parking. From the lot, it was a short walk to the falls. There was a cafe and gift shop nearby. Next time we visit, would love to do the Maid of the Mist as that looked like an awesome attraction to see the falls from a boat. So glad we were able to see this in person!
Buffalo Pedal Tours - Buffalo Ryan Conant: My work team had an awesome experience on the Buffalo Pedal Tour! Ken (owner) was incredibly responsive and helpful during booking. He made a ton of great suggestions and was incredibly knowledgeable. Had so much fun!
Adirondack History Museum - Elizabethtown Roger Mak: I learned something new about the history of Adirondack here. There are 46 peaks, the tallest one being the Mount Marcy, and many others are over 4,000 feet high. The first convention of women rights was held here in 18xx. If you love Adirondack, you must visit here even though it isnt a large museum by any standards.
Adirondack Carousel - Saranac Lake Cecil Smith: I was there for a friends sons birthday party. The kids had a blast It was our first time going there and its a great place to visit with the family and kids
Almanzo Wilder Homestead - Almanzo & Laura Ingalls Wilder Association - Burke Stanley Miller: Our grandkids have been reading the Farmer Boys story. So, we made the trip together to visit the farm and homestead. The tour and guide are excellent, informative, and interactive. Grandkids thoroughly enjoyed it, the adults as well. We all learned a lot. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
Franklin County Historical - Malone Caroline Doenberg: Visited a couple of weeks ago when we saw the sign on the main road and was sad to see it was closed. We called the number and Cheryl was so kind and offered for us to come in and take a look around. She ended up joining us and sharing lots of great history and information about the house! Beautiful place with an even better tour guide!!!
