05-2025 RD Beauty and Barber Shop in The Best 19 Hair Salon in Ithaca, Tompkins Country H&M Beauty Salon and Barber shop - Ithaca Burgdoff Kendall: So i chopped my hair off and it looked so abd before i came here, my mom and I walked in and we were greeted by the chillest guy ever and he told us to sit and wait for a little bit, not even 2 minutes later Antonio (i think was his name i cant remember) came amd told me to hop in the chair and he fixed my hair up and he so cool. If I could give more than 5 i would.
Crystals Spa & Salon - Ithaca Hannah McUmber: I don’t ever leave reviews but this is one I just have to!!
All I can say is WOW! This was the best salon experience I’ve ever had. I felt so comfortable and welcomed. She did not make me feel bad for my lack of hair care or inexperience. She gave me so much helpful advice to benefit only me. she wasn’t just there for a paycheck. I had an absolutely amazing time and experience and can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for everything!! My extensions are PERFECT.
Narrative Space - Ithaca Matthew Grandin: Friendly staff, a small selection of premium outdoor goods with a vintage look barber shop in back. Great spot for gifts, jewelry, denim, etc. They carry Filson & Red Wing.
Ulta Beauty - ithaca - Ithaca Grace Quail: ☆☆☆☆☆
This store is the best Ulta Beauty I have ever been to. The location is great, & the shopping plaza has been recently updated. (I love that its right nearby trader joes).
Caren, a stylist in the salon is fantastic, in all the ways possible! Thank you for your service, & excellent treatment.
Self-care at its best. I will definitely be returning.

Genes Barber Stylist - Ithaca Blair SZ Jones: I had my haircut by Liam and I let him do his thing, I trust his vision and I always come out happy with the results. Hes great with conversations and also really nice whenever a client doesnt feel like talking.
I definitely recommend him, especially for coarse hair like mine
Aris Ink & Beauty Bar - Ithaca Laura Hayduchok: I was delighted to find this cute boutique and got acrylics done this morning. The shop is bright, welcoming, and immaculately clean. Ari did an excellent job with my nails and carefully made sure each nail was shaped and painted perfectly. She helped me pick out a color to go with my dress for a wedding this weekend and was lovely throughout the appointment.
Aloe Barbershop - Ithaca Matt Marx: I really enjoyed my first two haircuts here, but I dont think Ill be back. Last time I went there I was in a hurry so I showed up before 9:00 to make sure Id be first in line, but by 9:15 it was still locked so I left. And this morning, I waited for 20 or 30 minutes only for someone who clearly knew the owner to show up and they let her kid in front of me.
Fine Line Barber Shop - Ithaca Ivory Theodore (Theo): I asked Bradley to use his expertise to make me the least ugly version of myself. He gave me an updated version of the style I love, and he sculpted and completely transformed my facial hair. He is amazing, and Ill definitely be returning. The vibe of the shop is fun, relaxed, and friendly. I have found my new barbershop.
Mikey David Barber Shop - Ithaca Brian Williams: Mikey David’s is the quintessential barber shop. The atmosphere, the community, and the quality cuts all contribute to the reason this barber shop has been the staple of men’s haircuts in the area for so long. My experience as a customer of Mikey David’s shop has always been positive. I have asked for several different types of haircuts and they never fail to deliver. When walking into Mikey David’s, I walk in with confidence in the barbers and leave feeling confident in myself. They are a Great group of folks who will cut your hair right and make you a pal in the community while doing it.
Pescos Barber Shop - Ithaca B S: Always grateful for the guys at Pesco’s! I’ve been bringing my son here for his haircuts since he was 18 months old. Now, at almost 4 years old, we’re happy to see familiar faces and they do a great job - even with a wiggly toddler. Always patient and friendly, the barbers at Pesco’s have ensured a positive experience for what can be scary to a small child. Definitely recommend to anybody looking for a clean shop in Ithaca. See you all in a few weeks for Liam’s next cut!
