Sals Barber Shop - New City (NY)

2 /5 Mark H: I have been coming here since I was literally 6 years old but today will be the last day I ever come back. The decline has been rapid the last few months and now with the entire place smelling like oil, extension cords being fed through windows, and impossible to know when your barber will be available, its time to call it quits Im sad to say. A barbershop should be a place that is easy to book and get ON TIME service, enjoyable and relaxing to be in and just the overall feeling of being a guest. This is non of those anymore. The end of an era

1 /5 Ed Furci: Terrible haircut, the worst I’ve received in 10 years! It was recommended I go here by a friend as I am new to the area. Barber did not understand my instructions and proceeded to do the exact opposite of what I asked for! I doubt if I’ll be returning there! That guy needs to go back to barber school to learn his craft better! What a disaster!! It will take 2/3 months to grow out my hair to a point where it can be cut at the correct style and length!!

5 /5 Harry R: Have been going here for years, first with Sal and more recently with Anthony. Always great service and top notch work. Sal retired around 2020 and Anthony recently left, but luckily found out he is still in the area at another barbershop on Little Tor in New City by Bombay Grill. Will be going there from now on as he does great work.

1 /5 Isabella Dragan: I had a truly terrible experience after Tony left. I went in for a custom cut later last year when he was still there and was so pleased with my experience. Luckily, when Tony left, I was able to continue going to him at shop G&J barber shop nearby!
