Shirley Friedlander Can’t be happier with sparkle up. Such a friendly and wonderful team. They all took such great care of my daughters and her friends for her 6th birthday. They also sparkle up my parent guests…made everyone feel beautiful! I can’t thank them enough. My daughter loved it and so did I! Worth every penny. I highly recommend.

R Park Its a party venue and salon where your kids can focus on their vanity. Kids that are shy and cannot walk a runway will get intimidated by this place. Kids get their hair done, nails done, makeup done, wear dresses. Great if your girl loves this. A nightmare if she doesnt. Other kids seemed to love it. If its your thing then go for it. They also do hair and makeup for special events.

Erin Perez I’ve been going here for years! Jacki is my all-time favorite hair stylist. I have wavy/curly, frizz-prone hair that can be difficult to manage, but she always knows what to do with it. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut my hair.

PamelaJ I went here for the first time a few months ago and was greeted very warmly by the receptionist. Donnie was awesome. He sat down with me to discuss my hair and my needs and came up with great ideas. He took his time and was very friendly and funny and my hair came out great! I’ve since gone back a second time and just love the warm friendly atmosphere. They make you feel like family. Would definitely recommend.

Diane Bonita Donnie and staff always greet me with a welcoming friendly smile. They always make me feel very comfortable and appreciated. Donnie takes the utmost special care of my hair whether it’s a Brazilian blowout, single hair color, highlights, cut and/or blowout! I am in and out of this well-maintained immaculate salon in the appropriate amount of time. Donnie takes me within 5 to 10 minutes of walking through his door and has never let me wait longer than those 10 minutes. He is efficient complementary and certainly knows his business. The atmosphere at 122 park is quiet with soft music playing… A very spa like visit. This is a gem of a hair salon in new city

Roro S If I can give a ZERO I will. Worst stylist , horrible job, horrible attitude after, and possibly the worst customer service from a manager. I was referred Yan by my stylist from another Supercuts cuz she was leaving. I told Yan I wanted Sunkist natural highlights that start halfway down and grown out. I showed him a picture and said this is how I want it. He acknowledged by saying “you want grown out look natural look that frames the face” I said yes. I continued to sat several times, I Do Not Want chunky highlights, I don’t want anything close to the scalp, I don’t like stripes where my hair looks frosted or very blond.. that I don’t like drastic contrasts. He acknowledged & said no problem. As for the cut, I showed him two pics and I said I want it textured & he said u want kind of a shaggy look, and I said kind of I DONT WANT tons of layers that will flip and look like a Christmas tree. And I want a heavy bottom not so many layers. So I trusted him based on the referral and I said all the things I didn’t want enough, to know I was going to be ok. I was looking down my phone working while he blow dried my hair.. I look up and it was the opposite of what I asked for and exactly what I said repeatedly NOT TO DO! When I said , why is it white & why do I have so many layers u (He even told me he want doing a lot of layers around my neck) , but I got exactly all these layers I didn’t want? He responds with a shrug, fist on hip, and says with a half rolled eye look & attitude “ well u didn’t want me to blend it, so I didn’t”. I was in such a hurry I just paid and left. $245!!!! I called the manager the next day and she said they can’t help me and for me to go back to my other stylist to fix it. My stylist had only one day & didn’t have opening. So when I called the manager back to say there wasn’t an opening, she said “oh well, there isn’t anything I can do about that” . I got so mad.. that I ended up having to go the Ramsey location and had to get all my hair cut off and remove all the white frosted highlights. Miriam in Ramsey saved me. I was so embarrassed by my hair. I had to pay to get rid of what Yan did to me. For a horrible white/silver frosted highlights that were extremely uneven, and a butchered haircut that was everything I said Not TO Do! I wish I could call the owner to tell them how horrible Yan is and disgusting of a customer service by their manager. I posted pics here of what I showed him and he confirmed that he can do it in his 13years of experience (this due looks like someone came out of beauty school) what I wanted and what I got. Andrea Steindorf Wanda in Naunet is amazing. This is the best haircut I have ever had. She even gave me a little Mary Tyler Moore flip without even asking. I highly recommend her.

Marissa Lawrence This was my first time going to Super Cuts in Nanuet. After reading through reviews, I noticed a lot of people raved about Candace. I booked her and couldn’t have been happier. She was super friendly and gave me the perfect cut. All of my dead ends are gone and my hair feels so much healthier. Thanks so much, Candace!

Mike Gandara Hair colorist (didn’t get her name) let me in right at opening so not to freeze outside. She was on holiday spirit and made me feel welcome. Elizabeth gave me best haircut I’ve had in a long time.

A A UPDATE: As of 2022, want burnt hair, and to be berated in front of the whole salon until you cry for $405? Then, read on. HAIR: I had a terrible experience with TONY for hair. I asked for a muted brunette colour, and he processed me red. Unlike other stylist that would correct their very rare mistake, TONY immediately processed a slightly less red colour (still not the colour I wanted whatsoever), and charged me $405, including tip - for doing two SINGLE PROCESSES, which he claimed was never a mistake in the first place. He claimed that it was brown, even as my daughter exclaimed that my hair looked like the My Little Pony hair she was playing with! I went elsewhere for a true colour correction, and the other salon fixed Tonys mistake properly. ATTITUDE: As a customer for powder dip nails with KATE (who is terrific), I am tired of surprise price hikes, and add ons for unfamiliar services, and being berated to the point of tears when I ask "In the future, can you let me know if something costs extra?", which is a reasonable request. TONY seems very comfortable raising his voice, and relentlessly arguing. Going elsewhere. ORIGINAL (2018): Four nail technicians doing powder dipping system Nails, Natural Nails, and other techniques, with a nice selection of brands including SNS, PM, OPI, Essie, and others.

Carol S I booked a gel pedi, gave about 30 minute notice and it wasnt a problem...the pedi was one up from the basic gel pedi with Gabi. She really looked after me today. I was overly impressed. BEST pedicure Ive ever had. The facilities are clean and the massage chairs work. Staff are so kind and all the regulars know the owner by name...Tony. everyone seems to love coming here and I can see why. Paid $35 plus a tip that was so worth it. I lost count of how many leg massages i had and the hot towel wraps were a plus. Parking is great if you come before 2. Cant praise this place enough. Ill be back and thank you!

SamFixit Guy I have very thick, curly, unruly hair. Tony, the owner, has been doing my hair for about 8 years. It takes a special skill and very few have been able to make me look human. Tony, in his Edward Scissor hands sort of way gets it perfect every time. We talk, he snips away and boom, another great haircut. His wife Kate does great on my girlfriends nails. I have no qualms recommending them.

Lindsay P I made a 2:30pm appointment for my 4-year-old daughter and myself. When we entered, there were 2 available nail technicians, which I thought was perfect. As usual, they directed my little girl to pick a color from the display case for her mani/pedi. There was a yellow post-it on one area within the case that we did not initially notice. It said the the nail polishes within this particular area cost 2 dollars more as they were longer lasting nail polishes. We mistakenly chose from those and we were very appreciative when my nail technician mentioned to me that they would cost more. She informed me it would cost $4 more for my daughters mani/pedi ($2/each) and I thanked her and chose similar colors from the other display cases that did not cost more. I made sure I chose the correct ones from the owner, Tony, and he encouraged me to continue to use the nail polish that cost extra. My response was that I would have loved to if my daughter allowed them to stick and not peel them off. My daughter subsequently sits in her assigned pedicure chair and I go with Gabby, my wonderful nail technician to begin my gel polish. My daughter is waiting while I begin. 2:30 becomes 2:45 and she is still sitting as still as a soldier for 15 minutes. At 2:55pm (25 minutes later) I ask politely when my 4-year-old will be attended to for the sole reason she is, well 4, and her patience, while quite impressive, is not unlimited. The owner says abruptly "she is eating her lunch." While I was genuinely glad she is eating, we had an appointment at 2:30, my 4 year-old has now waited for almost a half an hour and we have somewhere to be by 4. The owner rebutted that my daughter will be done before me anyway so whats the difference. This comment did not make much sense because she needs time to dry her nails, while I do not (I was getting gel) so the time we both complete our nails is not of equal standing. Also, how long do you expect a preschooler to wait this long past her appointment time and still remain still for the mani/pedi? Shes a toddler! We finished at the same exact time, but now my daughter needed time to dry. I ask the cost of the nails to pay and I gladly tip each technician over 20percent as usual. I join my little girl where she is patiently drying her nails. At this time, my nail technician approaches me and states I need to pay $5 more for my daughter as she used a few colors, not just one. I said, "huh? I purposely replaced the $4 nail polish as to not spend that additional money AND consulted w the owner to avoid additional charges, so why would someone not tell me that more than one nail polish costs $5 AFTER I already paid?" I tried to speak with the woman who I heard direct Gabby towards me to collect the money, but she completely ignored me. At this point, I see my daughter begin to get a little anxious and I just say, "please have a manager discuss this with me and I will be happy to talk it out." No one came up to me, my daughters nails dried and we began to exit and cheerfully thank everyone and bid them farewell. I figured they decided not to pursue it. As we exit, I hear the woman yell to the technician, "go get the 5 dollars from her!!!" The owner who followed me outside said, "over 5 nail polishes is 5 dollars." That was music to my ears because my daughter did not use over 5 nail polishes. He responded, "well it takes a lot of time to open more than one polish." I said, "my daughter took practically no time at all and you had her wait for almost 30 mins to begin her appointment. " He continues to argue with me and tell me how time consuming multiple nail polishes are... this is ridiculous. NO ONE was waiting for an appointment, my daughter waited for 30 mins, NO ONE told us about the additional charge and we had already paid and provided the tip! This was really not a way to treat a long-time , generous customer and a toddler...

Cristina G Great experience. Very clean facility and very nice staff. I believe my manicurists name was Kate. I was running late from work and she still was able to do my nails. She took her time, asked me my preferences politely, double checked to make sure I liked her work, even lotioned my hands and fixed up my cuticles which typically isnt included in when I get this service done elsewhere- and then she even gave me a massage briefly as my nails dried...she made all the difference!!.. I didnt have a cash tip so I ran to the nearest bank to get cash and she didnt give me any trouble, I was worried because I have had instances where I didnt know it was cash only and was berated by the owner for not having a tip. I ended up tipping more than intended because of her great customer service. Kate even offered me one of those punch cards where you eventually get a free select service. My nails looks great. Very happy with my visit here, I will be returning.

Scott Kaminsky Anthony is the only barber that I feel that I can completely trust. He has been cutting my hair for years and I must say that he truly listens to your requests and always delivers. Not only does he provide top-notch hair cuts but he also has fantastic recommendations for streaming shows and movies. I highly recommend Anthony to anyone looking for a skilled and personable barber.

Gabrielle Kristofich Love this place! Highly recommended to me. Called and was able to schedule a same day appointment. The place itself is super cute and welcoming! Staff is super friendly. David is the one who cut my hair - and he did an amazing job! I brought my kiddo along with me - and they were all super nice to her too. The fish tank in the salon was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be coming back!

Christine Ucker My 17 year old daughter really wanted to get a perm to give her very straight hair some body. She found Vibe online and it had great reviews. Everyone was courteous and welcoming. I was so impressed with V’s work on my daughter that I stayed to get a haircut too (went from long straight boring hair to a cool bob). V really listened and gave us both hair styles that we really love at very reasonably prices. We’ll definitely be back!

Ricky Pawar I wish I could rate this salon 0 stars. My daughter usually comes to this salon, but when she went to get a haircut this time, she had a horrible experience. We were greeted with David smoking and drinking outside his salon, and my daughter had to wait for him to finish before he was willing to cut her hair. We showed David a picture of the haircut she wanted and he did not cut it to look like the picture. My daughter assumed after she blew out her hair at home that it would end up looking like the picture. It did not look like it, and we called to complain. David was very rude when we said there was a problem, and said we didn’t know what we were talking about when we said her hair is too short for him to fix it to look like the picture now. We asked for a refund and he responded by saying “you didn’t pay a million dollars for the haircut so I don’t know why it matters.” They don’t value their customers’ money at all, and there is no point in supporting people who could care less about the hard-earned money you’re spending when you could instead go to another salon that actually appreciates their customers.

Nivethika Avinesh I went to the salon for the first time for highlights, color, and a haircut. David and Kristina were both friendly. David is amazing at highlights. The color was perfect for my skin tone and hair texture. Highly recommend this place!

Sarah Porter This salon is a gem. David does fantastic cuts and colors. He has an eye for color and clean sharp looking cuts. Kristina is a makeup wizard. She has made me up for formal events as well as casual parties. Both she and her products are top-tier. Every time I walk out I look and feel gorgeous.

Jamie Mathew This place is wonderful! I went there for the first time earlier today for a haircut and a single process color. The salon is inviting and has a home-y feel to it. Nicole was incredibly friendly and personable. She listened to me when I described what I wanted and also offered me her advice. What I really liked was how she explained what she was doing as she went along. Excellent service both with regard to my hair and how she treated me. I love how my hair turned out! I will definitely be back.

Jennifer Torres I had a ginger color in my hair and I wanted to go back to brown and she applied the dye very poorly. She didn’t section my hair and apply the dye properly. My hair turned out very spotty due to her not apply the dye by sections. I’m not happy with how the dye was applied.

tisha fiorillo The company I work for had temporarily relocated me to Rockland County, New York. During that relocation period I had been looking for a good salon to get my hair cut and colored and was having a tough time as I am very selective on how i like my hair done, in addition to choosing the right salon during COVID. I decided to call my regular hair stylist back home in California and she told me to look up a ‘GOLDWELL’ salon and ask them what protocols they were taken during this pandemic. Out of about 10 or more salons that i called i ended up choosing Rochelle Stephans in New City owned by Christine Viguie I was very impressed with all their safety protocols and her salon was immaculate. The layout at the salon was perfect because I was totally separated from everyone - we were in our own little area. During my appointment Christine continued to tell me she will have ONLY 1-5 stylists tops working at a time and everyone must be separate.She explained that she had to sacrifice volume for health and safety for her staff and clients. Lastly i had to wear a mask, had my temperature taken and I had to fill out a questionnaire at the door.

Qwoaz OT service was kinda good she was really nice but there were alot of bugs i saw a cockroach and 2 centipedes in the corner of the place. my mom came here to get her hair fixed and she said the hair came out pretty good but she was disgusted by the bugs and centipedes crawling around. sorry for being rude i would give it another chance. btw your son is kinda bad at fortnite

Victor Panich As someone who has been coming to you guys for a while now; I have been trying to get Haircuts after I get off work (5:30) when I come by you guys at 5:35 you still have the neon Open sign but no one is there and the door is locked; I get very fast haircuts should only take 15min tops. Please update your working hours because 1/3 times I come, you guys are closed prior to closing time and its frustrating to find that out as Im right at your door

Mohammad Huzefa Asked for a MID FADE! Got a high fade instead. Asked to absolutely not touch the top. Ran the clippers all around the top leaving me with a short patch of hair on the top. Find a professional barber don’t waste your time.

david walsh Brought my son in at age four for his first barbers haircut. He was terrified. Their wonderful staff helped him overcome his fear and through the tears he came out looking more dashing than could be. Would absolutely recommend all friends and family to this barber shop.

Mark H I have been coming here since I was literally 6 years old but today will be the last day I ever come back. The decline has been rapid the last few months and now with the entire place smelling like oil, extension cords being fed through windows, and impossible to know when your barber will be available, its time to call it quits Im sad to say. A barbershop should be a place that is easy to book and get ON TIME service, enjoyable and relaxing to be in and just the overall feeling of being a guest. This is non of those anymore. Ed Furci Terrible haircut, the worst I’ve received in 10 years! It was recommended I go here by a friend as I am new to the area. Barber did not understand my instructions and proceeded to do the exact opposite of what I asked for! I doubt if I’ll be returning there! That guy needs to go back to barber school to learn his craft better! What a disaster!! It will take 2/3 months to grow out my hair to a point where it can be cut at the correct style and length!!

Harry R Have been going here for years, first with Sal and more recently with Anthony. Always great service and top notch work. Sal retired around 2020 and Anthony recently left, but luckily found out he is still in the area at another barbershop on Little Tor in New City by Bombay Grill. Will be going there from now on as he does great work.

Maryam Altaf awful job- I asked for a blow out all I got was a regular blow dry. Lisa had rushed me to take her next client. Was pulling my hair so much just to finish fast. I payed $40 for a blow dry that I could’ve done free at home. I was given an appointment for 3:15. I got there at 3:11. I also gave her tip since that’s just how I am. Okay my hair was long- but what I asked for, if it couldn’t have been done it should’ve been informed at the beginning.

NAY Z Horrible experience.. I asked for a natural brown because I wanted natural highlights. The entire time there I was quiet, besides the two times I confirmed that I wanted brown not black.. it seemed like she understood but instead dyed my hair the darkest black in there.. thank God my sister was there because at the end when I saw my hair had the darkest black she then went on to say that it is not black as if my eyes were deceiving me, when that did not work because her coworkers admitted it was black she then said she knew I was going to be a problem because she knew my type.. I honestly believe she was trying to insult me based on my skin color. I paid the full price and walked out.. Never again will I walk in to that place. I would rather pay more than have someone do my hair without knowing how. I would not trust that place to do my hair..

Paloma Serone Answer: You clearly don’t check your emails as my first one was sent on 12/7/23, I called dozens of times, not once the phone was picked up. You only “solved my problem” within 24 hours after I reported you for fraud. You might not be a fraud, but sure as hell THE worse place to buy from. Maybe if you replied to your customers as fast as you replied to a bad review your business wouldn’t suck. FRAUD!!! Never got my whole order, they kept the money, never answered the phone or emails. Never buy there!

Jen Lamia I just had a haircut and blow dry with Lisa. Went to put a review and was surprised to see a negative comment! So upsetting that I called beauty plus to speak with Lisa. Such a shame that someone who was late to her own appointment claims she felt rushed. Great place and great stylist. Stop killing people’s livelihood because you are a keyboard warrior.

All Oftis I asked for the picture of the hair cut below and the barber gave me a ceaser haircut with a high fade. Sadly last time I’ll be coming to this store this was not the first time they messed up my hair cut.

Jay Ray If you want to wait two hours to get your haircut. This is your spot. Been going here for a minute but Im fed up at this point. I can never get hold of a barber to set up appointment. As soon as I get there, Im forced to wait for an open chair only to see barbers letting their friends and fellow barbers cut the line and get hour long hair cuts. Barbers are playing loud music, drinking on the job, texting, and taking constant breaks to shout each other in front of customers. Also, not to mention these guys have no qualms with taking smack right to your face in Spanish the minute they realize you dont speak Spanish. Happened to me, dont look like I speak Spanish but I do and this is just unprofessional and insulting to put it mildly. The haircuts are eh but trust me, that fresh fade you think only a barber from here can do can be done just as easily from any of the countless barber shops in and around New City. Go somewhere else. These "men" dont know how to maintain business clientele and wont treat you with the respect ever customer deserves. Dont believe me? Look at all the review below, we all are sick and tired of this shop. Still dont believe me? When you got a free day and some self-respect to spare, take a trip down there and see what Im talking about first hand. Dont say I didnt warn you.

KB The most unprofessional barbershop I ever stepped foot in. I do not know how they are still In Business. They cannot manage their time at all. This is the second time I had an appointment at this place and when I got there, my barber wasn’t there. He then texted me he would be an hour late AT THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. The second time I have an appointment, they tell me they have two people ahead of me. “ sorry bro” so beyond inconsiderate. why am I making an appointment just to wait extra extra time? Pathetic. I’m never coming back here again. Also to add this in, they always stop to talk in the middle of your haircut. Worst barbershop ever.
