1 /5 Nothing Nothing: I came here once randomly and the lady did my eyebrows so good. She told me to keep doing it often but I don’t have the $ to do weekly. I don’t do eyebrows regularly but appreciated her kindness and the way she made my eyebrows look. I came back months later and there was only 2 workers that day. It was a different lady who did it this time. I always let any eyebrow threading lady do it first and then see it. They all make it super thick which is what girls go for nowadays and I always say “just a little thin” and I did to this lady and I even repeated myself “just a little bit.” She did it within seconds and when she started doing it from the top, I got worried. And when I looked my eyebrows were two thin lines. I wanted to cry, it was so embarrassing to look at myself. And I said “it’s so thin” and she seemed so careless about it and blamed me for asking for thin. She said “you want henna on it?” I said no and went to get the money from my bag. The other lady said “yea I heard her say thin” and I repeated myself “I said just a little bit.” I never had this problem before saying “thin” doesn’t meant having two tiny lines on my eyebrows. I gave the money and left. And wouldn’t be returning, I wish I asked the first women’s name who who did my eyebrows. But, I don’t want to come back either way. Just be careful and be straight up with what you want I guess. The women were speaking in a language I understand about me requesting thin, it felt disheartening. A apology isn’t too much to get, I would’ve paid either way and I even felt bad I didn’t tip. I can’t even look at myself in the mirror without feeling sad; I don’t do makeup so I have to wait for it to grow back. I’m not sure why she did this, it clearly feels like a joke based on how tiny they are. When I came home, I noticed two small cuts near my eyelid; the thread broke multiple times as she was doing them. And she even removed hair from the front of my eyebrows which no other person had ever done to me. I have dry skin and my thick eyebrows used to hide my eczema but now I have two small lines. It’s really confusing why she did this but also she doesn’t know me so I know it wasn’t personal. I wouldn’t be getting my eyebrows done any time soon. I would recommend showing a picture.
