5 /5 Charlotte McIntosh: The Falls were breathtaking.
We were heading elsewhere, so just passing thru. I mentioned i had never been to Montour Falls, NY. So we stopped. The first look was unbelievable. I couldnt get to my camera quick enough. All i saw was the falls straight ahead of me in this cute little bitty town. from the parking spot to the falls is right in my pictures.
Yes, its a park. But i didnt see anything bigger than what my pictures show you. Unless there is an actual parking lot somewhere that I did not see, you can not stay long. I feel there must be a parking lot somewhere close. Public local parking is all I saw. I did not see a childrens park as far as swings or a slide. I didnt see hiking. There were some benches, children could run around in the lawn if its empty while you are there but a nice little peaceful park where if you have time, the perfect place to park yourself on a bench and watch the falls or sit in the grass and read a book.
