Watkins Glen Photography: The Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce is a fantastic resource and a true asset to our community! As a local business owner (Watkins Glen Photography), Ive experienced firsthand their dedication to supporting local businesses and promoting the area. Theyre incredibly helpful, providing valuable resources, networking opportunities, and marketing support. The Chamber does a great job of fostering a vibrant local economy and creating a welcoming environment for both businesses and visitors. Theyre also a key source of information about local events, attractions, and everything that makes Watkins Glen such a special place. If youre a local business, the Chamber is an invaluable partner if taken advantage of. And if youre planning a visit to the area, theyre a great first stop for information and recommendations. Highly recommend!

Whether you’re a photographer, a casual hiker, or just looking for a serene day trip, Taughannock Falls is a must visit destination nature. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo adventurers.

Nick W: The waterfall is incredible, it just keeps going and going. We hiked the gorge and rim loop, starting at the stairs (gorge), and would recommend that others do the same. The views along the gorge trail are absolutely worth the effort. Lots of places for pictures, or to stop for lunch. We visited at the beginning of May and only saw a few other people. The rim trail doesnt have much for views, but makes for a nice walk back down. Well maintained park grounds. Plenty of parking. The bathrooms could use a little love, but were open! High recommended.

Strange Man: Its just off the roadway but a little tricky to climb down. This is not a typical touristy type of a spot and the stream is not very deep unless you go after some good rain. It is a fun spot to explore and theres parking for a couple cars on either side of the bridge. Not sure if theres any type of fishing to be done here but theres plenty of photo ops. Have fun.

Theresa St. John: This is a marvelous museum (in a temporary venue while permanent one is being renovated) with so many artifacts from the movie. I was emotional walking through, seeing so much from the movie thats touched all of us, the story thats so authentic we can all relate to it. There were/still are so many things I didnt know about the film, it was eye-opening for me. Loved finding out that the remaining actors visit when they can, especially in December, when they celebrate the screenplay for three days.

Theresa St. John: Wonderful place to go and study how the movement worked and progressed over time. We have come so far! And this place shows that. Rangers were there (thank you!) to answer any questions we had. Very interesting exhibits, will go again.
