I came in with my hair in three different colors and they made it into a beautiful blonde. They took their time and got it all done in one day which is amazing. I am IN LOVE with my new hair color. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back for touch ups!!

I recently visited this hair salon for a hair trim. Initially, everything seemed fine when I left the salon, but later that evening, I noticed that my haircut was uneven, with several strands left uncut.
I would expect this kind of result from an amateur hairstylist; however, its not what I signed up for, nor what I paid for. Disappointed with the outcome, I contacted the salon to request a refund. 2 days later, they responded to my request with an offer to fix my hair instead of providing a refund. Unfortunately, I HAD to get my hair fixed that day (I work in an office five days a week), but they were unable to accommodate me due to the salon being closed. Additionally, I do not see myself taking the risk of having another stylist at the salon fix my hair, especially when it seems there is no quality control over their hairstylists. This was frustrating, as the issue was not immediately apparent until I had a closer look at home.
If you are a new customer, especially if you do not speak Spanish, I would advise against getting a haircut here. The service quality and lack of customer support were not up to standard, and I regret choosing this salon for my trim.
DV Hair Studio - Flushing Jessie Yu: I’ve been going to David since 2017-2018, so this review is 5 years overdue. Having tried many stylists in the past (been dying my hair since 2010), I have stuck with David ever since he has first done my hair. I have always been particular about my hair color and David has always been incredibly accommodating! Starting from the beginning, David is incredibly accommodating on my various schedules especially since I’ve been driving from Jersey just to see him.
He always pays close attention to the reference pictures I show him and the particular details regarding what color I want my hair to be. What I appreciate about David is that he’s honest and tries his best to mimic the pictures but always warns that it won’t turn out exactly like the picture I show. David always walks me through what he plans on doing with my hair (of course) even though he knows I’ve been going for a while and trust his process.
He also earnestly cares about the health of my hair and goes out of his way to use less harsh products to maintain the quality of my hair. He has referred me to various products like specific shampoo’s, conditioner’s, and purple conditioner’s. I also come to David when my hair seems particularly dry and he has used masks/treatments for my hair. What is really incredible about David is how he cares about his client’s satisfaction, he is willing to re-tone my hair even after a whole session if I am not happy with the end result. This care and consideration is what I believe puts David above other hair stylists! I appreciate that he is willing to put in the extra effort to make sure I love it.
An important thing to note is that I have long, thick hair, so our full head sessions usually take about 8 hours long. David is always incredibly patient, and never tries to rush the long process. We’ve had to start at 12pm and end at around 9pm when his shop usually closes around 7pm.
I have brought family to David, and he had fixed my cousin’s cut & color hair disaster in the past. David is someone I highly recommend as well as the rest of his staff. I want to give a special shout out to Kelly, David’s assistant, for giving great washes and also taking the time to do my hair. She is incredibly sweet and very meticulous as well.
If you want to find a place where you can consistently go to and not fight for a place on the waiting list, I highly recommend David! I have attached my numerous pictures from different timelines of my life as well as different lightings to really show off his work. Another commendable note, whenever my hair starts growing out, the color still look good because he makes sure to blend it.
THE HAIR SALON BY EUN ME BANG - Flushing annie: When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the welcoming and cozy atmosphere. It’s a clean & vibrant salon that has really good music playing in the background (seriously, I added several songs to my playlist haha). I didn’t make an appointment (since this was a spontaneous trip) but was seated within ~10 minutes and the manager Nicole checked in with me periodically.
James, my hairstylist did a wonderful job with my hair & communicated with me throughout. Iris and Nicole were also really friendly and sweet. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience and I will be recommending this place to my family & friends!! Thank you for the haircut~

Glamour Hair Salon - Corona Cheryl Bourne: The service is great and everyone is friendly and professional. I have been getting my hair styles here for 10 years and have always left very satisfied and feeling like a new woman.
Lugo Hair Studio - Astoria Liz Carmello: Daniela did balayage on my hair, cut my hair & gave me a blow out. My hair looks the best it ever has.

BONJOUR European Hair Design - Sunnyside Sonya Wysocki: I waited a few weeks to leave my review to make sure I loved my new haircut as much as I did the day I got it. And I do!! Sergio gave me the cutest bob--fresh, sassy, and swingy. Its short but somehow long enough to pull back into wee ponytails when I need to get my hair out of my eyes during a workout. I like that he didnt use a ton of styling products as Im a wash and go kinda gal. Typically I bob my hair in the winter during hat season and then grow it out for summer but Ive gotten so many compliments that I think I might just keep it short now.
Lauras beauty salon - Jamaica BB: I had an amazing experience getting my silk press done! Laura was so kind & professional. My hair feels super silky, looks shiny, and has so much movement! She made me feel comfortable the whole time and gave great advice on maintaining my silk press. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares about your hair, I highly recommend her! I’ll definitely be coming back
Xcellent Beauty Salon - Bayside Andrea Santos cruz: Booked an appointment a few ago and the prices are crazy for the results. I didn’t even ask for highlights or some crazy stuff, I only asked for one simple hair color and the lady messed it up, it all came out different spot colors and they were about to proceed and style it right after which had me in shock they did not even ask if I was okay with the results till I told them to please fix it and of course they had to but they went to go redo and fry my hair more. I spent nearly 400-450 and plus having to give out tips for me to not even be satisfied and ended up coming out worse with my hair very fried, scalp feeling weak and at this point I didn’t even want to say anything because i still felt bad for the lady and i know they wouldn’t have gave me any of my money back.. Point is, don’t come to this place or make sure you have a person with actual experience.
