I got a call back an hour later from a woman, I told her I was just trying to see if I could get in for an inspection. She cut me off and said "No. Where do you live?" I said Salamanca. She said "you have more than enough places out there to get an inspection done." And then she hung up on me.

1 /5 Bill Purdy: I own a 2008 f 150 with the 5.4 in it it blew and I took to Steves and he gave me a price of 2500 to 3000 at first then it went to 3500 after I spent over 4 thousand in this shop my new motor still didnt run they had to ship it to another mechanic to fix. " There words we are not capable of fixing it" so after almost a year and 4 k I got my truck back and the engine came apart after 4500 miles. Steves auto said to bad so sad we dont want to see your truck again. You should have sold it.So to all up coming customers please beware

Deborah Eaton: I actually don’t believe this business deserves one star. I had my car towed there because it was a AAA approved shop. They misdiagnosed the problem (Tim) telling me it was a starter and quoted $850.00 to repair. I was visiting from out of town so I was at the mercy of a service repair shop. I had it re-towed to another shop who diagnosed the problem (129.00) big difference. Tim was so rude and told me I owed him $97.00 for the diagnosis and wouldn’t release the car till I paid him. I didn’t have a car so I asked if I could give him my credit card over the phone. He rudely said “cash only “ . Since I didn’t have a car I said “ I’m not sure what to do”( I didn’t want to rely on others to drive me around. His reply was” you go to the bank and withdraw 97.00 or go to an atm and do the same. I told him I didn’t appreciate his condescending tone. When my friends husband went to the shop to pay him for me, he had a different tone, however he lied on the receipt and stated that I was nasty to him which wasn’t true. I would never never never recommend going here. I will report this to Triple AAA as well. I am not one to write negative reviews on any business however the behavior of this owner warrants it

Found a good used tire and put it on, checked all the other tires. They were on their way in half an hour. Trombleys was very fair in price and provided great service. They could have boned my friends as they were from out of town but they were fair and amazing. Would highly recommend them.

Leo A P Giannini: Moved up to the Finger Lakes from the Catskills and was overwhelmed by the difficulty in finding a reliable and honest mechanic shop. Bob was a godsend, fixed my rust bucket Yaris, and helped get my moms Yaris to 300K miles (and still kicking), fixes my wifes car and fixes my truck. I wouldnt go anywhere else, worth the wait if hes busy too.
