1 /5 Prius Seller: Took car in for an inspection. Told us we needed four new tires, four brand new brakes including rotors and a new rear windshield wiper for $300. First of all, rear wipers are not required to pass inspection. We took it elsewhere to have the brakes checked and they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. Total repairs would have been over $2,000.

1 /5 Mia Marino: Overcharged for service & then insulted by the shop manager Jason when I questioned why the charges were so high at $115 for one 5 qt of European Mobile 1 & $30 per qt. I was then insulted about how old my Mercedes was knowing they fix older cars. Insulted about having an oil change done at Mavis on East Genesee St. When I asked for the owners info he first told me he was the only person I can contact. This is absolutely ridiculous. $690 total: -$150+ for smoke test to check for a gas leak (no gas leak, I was fine with this). -$250+ to power wash my engine so they can see that I have no oil leak like they tried to tell me I had in the beginning! -$260+ for Mobile 1 Oil change & filter Jason is rude & condescending. I won’t be back & don’t have anything good to say about him & their unfair pricing. I hope the owner is available to speak with me, this should be reported to the BBB.

1 /5 Joshua Joshua: Staff was friendly, however they tried telling me I needed to spend 1400$ to pass inspection. I took it to my usual shop and the car passed completely fine.

Found a good used tire and put it on, checked all the other tires. They were on their way in half an hour. Trombleys was very fair in price and provided great service. They could have boned my friends as they were from out of town but they were fair and amazing. Would highly recommend them.

Leo A P Giannini: Moved up to the Finger Lakes from the Catskills and was overwhelmed by the difficulty in finding a reliable and honest mechanic shop. Bob was a godsend, fixed my rust bucket Yaris, and helped get my moms Yaris to 300K miles (and still kicking), fixes my wifes car and fixes my truck. I wouldnt go anywhere else, worth the wait if hes busy too.

A friend recommended State Street Automotive and they did the work for less than $1000 and were super accommodating. They got me in quick and were honest and up front about what work really needed to be done vs. recommended, and how much it would cost. He proceeded to say we ruined his night and yelled profanities at us and called us names. When I expressed that he was being unprofessional he continued to yell profanities.
