2 /5 Chyanne elaine: Im not very thrilled with the "care" Ive had here at strong. Ive been here since Thursday morning due to bleeding while pregnant. The nurses are great, well some. But the doctors are a joke. Im hardly told the same thing twice and Im supposed to trust this entire unit with my care? My IV hasnt been flushed in 15 hours. Im 28 weeks and leaving against medical advice because I dont feel comfortable here. Its not good for my mental health and its causing unnecessary stress. I wouldnt recommend going here. Find some place else.

1 /5 Julie C: My comments are strictly on the emergency room. Bottom line: dont go there unless you are bleeding from the head, have a heart attack, or stroke. I went for breathing issues for pneumonia, and was in the emergency room for 24 hours. The bathrooms were disgusting - not cleaned, missing supplies. Food was scarce, supplies were running thin, and there were actually no pillows for patients to use to try to sleep. Staff in the Apocolypse Tent next to the ER ignored my call button for an hour before I finally flagged someone down. While I did get the treatment I needed, I did not feel safe as an immune compromised patient. Do not go here unless its an absolute dire life threatening emergency. Call your primary care dr, leave messages with after hours/on call, or go to urgent care if its open.

1 /5 Randy Todd: My 2 month old grandson got sent to the ER from his primary care doctor to see a specialist on call. He is having issues with his airway clogging and stopped breathing. He had two episodes in the ER where the mother had to administer first aide while the staff was too preoccupied and just watched. No specialist have come to see him and they are planning on sending him home without any help or information. Very disappointed with this hospital especially pertaining to a child.

5 /5 Nora Kremer: My husband (in his 50s) has been getting top care from the cancer center for the past 4 years. Also my mother in law (70s) is getting phenomenal care from the liver team. As for the Emergency Department, they do the best they can but be persistent for service and never go to ANY Emergency room without an advocate of some sort (friend, family or if you have to, pay someone to be there with you). The advocate should stay with you until you are are either released or admitted. This helps everyone, including the Emergency Care team. Continuing to pray for all first responders.

1 /5 Michael Wilson: I went to the ER because I was having breathing issues and had tested positive for COVID-19, like we had been told about for 2 years. "Go to the hospital if you are having breathing issues" The hospitals treatment was the worst medical treatment Ive had in my entire life. After arriving and explaining my problems, they kicked my spouse out of the waiting room, and made me wait alone for over 6 hours before anybody finally saw me. When I was put in their parking lot tent that they were using for storing sick people like me, there were no tests done, not even a covid test to confirm my at home test. I had to ask for a paxlovid prescription. I was then swept away within 2 minutes of getting to the tent and told thats all they were going to do for me, and there was no mention of any sort of billing. Over a month later, I get a bill for $666 ($403 after insurance) for "Hospital Charges" and two weeks later I get another bill for $450 ($316 after insurance) for "Provider Charges"!!!!!! Strong Memorial Hospital was going to charge me over $1,100 after making me wait for over 6 hours with breathing problems, and I was given no treatment of any kind. This is absolutely criminal. The American healthcare system is a complete scam and a sick sick joke that is killing people every day. Strong Memorial Hospital and any other perpetuating this horrible cycle should be shut down and the workers should be ashamed of themselves. I will never be going to the hospital again if I am not on the verge of death. What a great system we have. Land of the free!!!! Free to go bankrupt or die.
