Erik Nielsen Ive read some negative reviews, and it makes me wonder if Ive had a completely different experience than others. I was admitted in December for pneumonia, and ended up being there for 3 days. During my time there, I was completely blown away at the professionalism, compassion, and incredible care I received there. Everyone from the ER staff, to my own health care team, to xray techs and transportation, EVERYONE was unbelievably wonderful! My assigned doctor and health care team were amazing, always kept me informed, and were friendly, and just amazing people!! I will admit,.. I am NOT a fan of modern medicine, and not all hospitals in the Rochester area are created equal,.... but in my opinion, Unity Hospital is one of the best! Clean, friendly, and very good at what they do! Thank you for restoring my health!

allison pfeifer When finally moved from one part to another part of emergency I wasnt even checked in on for 5 hours and then I had to ask to see a nurse. I wasnt even in a room. In the hallway for two days. Rude nurses ,No compassion, clicky and more interested in sitting off to the side and just chat. I could keep going on the stuff I witnessed while there but patience advocacy doesnt seem to care.

Arwan Ahmed Don’t know why they have phone line in there they never answered i when few times there people kept calling them and they on chairs doing nothing and when it come to your medicine make sure they send it before you leave or they keep you going back in forth to them

Edie Achenbach Dr. Wojciechowski excels in his profession. He also has a gentle demeanor which takes the stress out of going to the doctors for me. I went to his practice a handful of years ago and the office staff as well as his nurse were not pleasant which was a huge turn off for me. This visit was very pleasant. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I’m glad I went back.

Lisa Hughes I’ve had a great experience with the 2 dr’s my family has seen. Dr. Holm most recently for my daughter and I’ve seen Dr. W for years… 5 stars for both of them. The office staff has been beyond rude lacking any customer service skills and plan to drop the practice after my daughter finishes up with current treatment. Do not start with this office new.

Victoria S I waited about 15 minutes before being seen by Jamie and then by Jessica Urso. Both were attentive and listened carefully. I was also given different options which I appreciate. The only unpleasant person I encountered was the security man at the front door who asked me if I was here for urgent care. I told him yes. He got really loud and asked me again and I said yes. He then opened the plastic door to hear me and I said yes for the 3rd time. He looked so annoyed and bothered. Im coming because I dont feel good not to be treated like crap.Have some compassion/empathy training for him asap.

Regine Gayden The doctors are always constantly rushing you and stating that they can’t and won’t do a test if they feel like you don’t need it, also the techs and nurses are always very rude and pushy as well. Hopefully they hire some folks that actually come to work and want to help.

Tom McNeil Ive been going here for the last 10 years (sometimes with a couple years in-between visits) and continue to be impressed with how well this place functions. The receptionists are hands down the best in the business, and as a patients first point of contact this makes a huge difference. Not only are they well trained on the software they use (Epic) but they are incredibly thoughtful and motivated to help out which goes a long way when you feel like poop. Ive seen a few of the doctors over the years (and Mr. Terp) and have always been impressed. Most recently Dr. Tarantino provided me with fantastic service at extracting some wax from my ear and diagnosing me with the flu. I cannot praise this place enough, they are the gold standard.

Brian Krall Trying to be a patient here is useless. Heres how it went for me: Made an appointment to become a new patient there. Had to wait several weeks to be seen. In that time I was suffering from chronic pain. I called to ask if I could come in and be seen for a more immediate appointment for my acute pain, as this is what every other Doctors office has always done for me. They said no and told me to go to a hospital. So I waited for my appointment to arrive. When I arrived I got dropped off by medical transport, only to find that they were making patients wait outside of the building. I had to stand there suffering surmounting pain as there was no where to sit. Eventually I got called in, and was able to see an unfriendly nurse, and then after a long wait I finally saw my new Doctor. The new Doctor quickly told me that she was actually not accepting new patients, and she would see me that day but that I should go back to my old doctor (who I couldnt go back to). She rushed through my visit haphazardly speaking to me for just long enough to get her paid by insurance and then left the room without doing so much as giving me a routine checkup. And hence why I say that there is no point trying to be a patient here.

Zeta Rose Same day appointments are convenient for me. As long as you call the office as soon as they open, they should be able to get you an appointment for the same day. The waiting room is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly with a good and safe environment. (The security guard makes me feel extra protected haha) It can be hard to find the building, but dont be afraid to call and ask like I did, they are very helpful!

Kitty Estes I woke up 6am to get their same day appointment I called the second the clock turned 8am to get an appointment and the lady transferred me to the er nurse instead of making the appointment and now I cannot get through the words angry dont even begin to cover it. Additionally I would like to add the doctors here are unknowledgeable often suggesting the most obscure diagnosis which turns out to be false.

Ranveer Singh They are one of the worst hospitals. The air quality was horrible. The cleaning staff hardly did their job, they only sweeped a small area of the room and then left. They didn’t even change the garbage. The main reason we went there was because it was the only hospital with a room, I wonder why. My great grandpa was really sick and needed a lot of help. The people discharged him at the 3rd day. I am writing the about 1 1/2 hour after he passed away, he was discharged yesterday. They said he was feeling weak and needed to rest and eat. That is what we did and he passed away on the 8th. I DEFINITELY do not recommend this hospital. If you want the best out of the best and they take care of every single thing, go to Unity hospital.

Barbara Gutierrez Morales Absolutely the worst neurologist Ive ever seen in my life, staff and nurses are just as bad. My old neurologist is from the university of Washington, he was my Dr for 15 yrs , Dr Holmes and his staff including his nurses care and they put this clinic to shame. I will be getting a referral to another neurologist today. Stay clear away from here especially if you are low on your medications they wont send any refills, I called twice and even walked into the clinic and nothing and I have grandma seizures.

JON MCLEAN RRH treats patients like there is no other place to go for care. Im sick of being treated like a sack of meat. Today they cancelled a precription for migraine medicine I have had for years, and they didnt even bother to tell me. RRH, you are not the only show in town!

Nancy Napoli I went for a hearing test at the Irondequoit office. The staff was super friendly. The audiologist was very good at explaining the results of my test and so personable.

New York Barbie The nurses always ask intrusive questions about my children every visit and ask if they have different fathers and where they are during my appointments as if they’ve been adopted or something. I do not want to come back to such a prejudice place. They won’t give me prenatal treatment at four months pregnant but contact the social worker for no reason to harass me rather than an ultrasound or any care.

Chyanne elaine Im not very thrilled with the "care" Ive had here at strong. Ive been here since Thursday morning due to bleeding while pregnant. The nurses are great, well some. But the doctors are a joke. Im hardly told the same thing twice and Im supposed to trust this entire unit with my care? My IV hasnt been flushed in 15 hours. Im 28 weeks and leaving against medical advice because I dont feel comfortable here. Its not good for my mental health and its causing unnecessary stress. I wouldnt recommend going here. Find some place else.

Julie C My comments are strictly on the emergency room. Bottom line: dont go there unless you are bleeding from the head, have a heart attack, or stroke. I went for breathing issues for pneumonia, and was in the emergency room for 24 hours. The bathrooms were disgusting - not cleaned, missing supplies. Food was scarce, supplies were running thin, and there were actually no pillows for patients to use to try to sleep. Staff in the Apocolypse Tent next to the ER ignored my call button for an hour before I finally flagged someone down. While I did get the treatment I needed, I did not feel safe as an immune compromised patient. Do not go here unless its an absolute dire life threatening emergency. Call your primary care dr, leave messages with after hours/on call, or go to urgent care if its open.

Nora Dodge Would give this godforsaken place 0 stars if I could. One doctor tried to push a medication on me 4 times throughout my visit after I sternly told her no. Then proceeded to google my symptoms while I was sitting in the room with her. A week later, I called the office to get 2 scripts refilled, which didnt get approved for 3 days with 0 updates. Went to the pharmacy, they said only 1 was called in. I called the office, again, and explained my problem, to which they responded "idk, try again". Two more days go by, I get a call from the office saying the second script is ready, I go to pick it up, and they sent it to the wrong location, a pharmacy I havent had anything sent to in 5 years. They say their office is open until 5, but they stop answering phones at 4, when the average person gets out of work and actually has the time to call. Freaking ridiculous.

Alema Hidic I’m a new patient and Rosa is a great doctor, I highly recommend her, she listened to all my concerns. Security guard, Clarence helped ease my nerves since I’m scared of getting blood work. Medical assistant and front desk people were nice, phlebotomist lady is very good at what she does, thank you all for your patience.
