    Rebecca: There’s no professional attention to nail details or how to handle different situations. A good nail technician does more than just paint color on nails. This is not worth the price. The surface of my nail extensions is really uneven, and 2 or 3 of them are even crooked，The first photo is the reference I gave them, and the second one is what they actually did.

    Claire Neumann: I have been coming here for years and they have changed my life for the better!!!! Incredible artists, perfect technique, boundary-less creativity. I am obsessed with Studio L!!! My gel would last for 8 weeks (if I didn’t care about my nails growing that long!) They are number one!!! So many of my friends have started coming to Studio L, and they are now hooked—there is just no comparison to the expertise and service you receive here. The best. I’m a fan for life.

    Idalmis Perez: I did a powder manicure that didn’t even last the 10 days fresh guaranteed that they tell you on the little card. I also whisked that since they call it a manicure they actually do a manicure because putting powder on nails should not be considered a manicure my cuticles weren’t soaked or removed properly and my nails weren’t shaped properly or how I wanted either. I want to go back and give them a 2 try but I’m not sure it will be worth it. Plus with my busy schedule I can barely go 1 every two weeks. I did like my nails they didn’t feel as rough as with acrylic but even on my worst set it acrylic does last longer

It was a big challenge for her since I cut my nails too short as I did a month-long gel-free keratin treatment for my brittle nails. She also knows how to play around with the nail polish to look like what you want. The place is clean, relaxing, and chic. A must try to everyone living close to the area!

One of my favorite things about them is that I can simply show them any nail design picture, and they know exactly how to recreate it - sometimes even making it better than the original! Their color selection skills are spot-on; I actually trust them to pick my colors more than trusting myself because they have such a great eye for what works. Booking appointments is always hassle-free, which is a huge plus for my busy schedule. Their attention to detail is impressive, and the quality is top-notch - my nails always last for 4-6 weeks at least. Ive recommended this salon to many friends over the years, and Im so glad I found this gem after trying several salons in the area. Six years later, they still exceed my expectations with every visit❤️

    Karen Morgan: I had heard of Spa Blue from friends and family and so decided to go there for a manicure and pedicure and I was so impressed. It is fabulous! The staff are kind and well trained and the manager Lucy made me feel so comfortable, she is warm and friendly and welcomes each client as a friend, and one definitely leaves as a friend. On top of the great treatment, my nails lasted almost a month before I saw any chipping ! Thank you Spa Blue, I will be back the next time I visit the city and I will recommend you to all my friends who visit New York !

    Stephanie: I was going to count my $50 loss and just go to a different salon but I thought about the health and safety risks of this manicure, and decided to leave a review. This wasn’t my first time to this salon and I had previously had an okay-ish experience but the customer service was exceptional. I returned in hopes of having a similar experience. To start, the previous gel removal was done at the station in the back most corner with all the surplus supplies. It wasn’t even cleaned. Honestly, I’m doubtful that area was meant to be a manicure station, because there wasn’t any supplies readily available. When we ended up moving to a proper station (for better lighting?) they didn’t bother wiping down the area. As soon as the lady before me wrapped up, I jumped right into her seat). The actual manicure was really rushed. I went in the late evening so maybe the tech was tired, but she completely ignored cuticle prep and care. She didn’t push back any of my cuticles. She maybe cut the cuticles on 5 fingers or so. The gel application was horrible. She applied 3 coats but most of it was focused on the tips of my fingers. She kept getting gel on the skin surrounding my nails and attempting to use her latex glove to wipe it off. Regardless, by the time I got up to pay, I had gel on my skin on about 5 fingers. (I later found out that’s apparently a huge health and safety risk because that could cause an allergic reaction - thank God I didn’t have one). I asked the receptionist (the man delagating the techs) if the gel would fall off later on maybe if I attempted to scrub it in the shower. He burst out laughing. The nail tech attempted to use acetone to wipe it off but obviously that didn’t work, so she had to file the gel off my skin. once she realized that there was gel on so many fingers she just let me leave with the file. I definitely would not recommend.

    Taryn Y: I’ve been coming to Flair for 2+ years now. They are one of the best nail salons I’ve been to in the city (and I’ve been to many). They are so kind, really make an effort to get to know their customers, and they do the most detailed/careful manicures that last for ages. I typically get a regular pedicure and sometimes a regular or gel manicure. They always do a great job and when I’ve had gel removed I leave with my nails looking super healthy and shiny - which is really saying something for post gel nails. Would recommend calling ahead to make an appointment.

    Jennyfer Morales: I came here because i saw that it had some pretty good reviews. i booked my appointment with Sue to get a Japanese Nail Hardener. Even though she was a lovely lady, my nails were not what i asked for (pictures will be provided). The nail color was not what i asked for, she told me it would be darker but it wasn’t. By the 3rd/4th day of having my nails; they started lifting & one even came off. Majority of my nails now are lifted. She charged me $146 with a $5.00 “discount” I even went ahead and emailed them so I can get it fixed but no surprise, there was no email back. I really wanted to like this place but their products don’t work. Wouldn’t recommend to go back.
