1 /5 Oscar Richards: I had an absolutely terrible experience at [suny downstate 8th floor]. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place is in complete disarray. The staff was rude and unhelpful, the food was awful, and the entire establishment felt neglected. The building itself is in desperate need of renovation—it looks run-down and poorly maintained. On top of that, the atmosphere was chaotic and lawless, with no sense of order or professionalism. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. 1 /5 Truthfully True: Going down down hill. Definitely needs a face lift everything old. The inpatient rooms are horrible you cant shower or use the water to brush your teeth. The staff were I was admitted was ok. Now the fast track is a mess depending on who you need to see the ortho Surgeons and their residents are amazing. Other specialty doctors and residents very questionable. They can do better they fell off alot.

5 /5 Noemi: I took my mother to the emergency room for severe pain in her lower extremities. I have to admit that the customer service and attention my mother received were exceptional for an emergency room. Nurse Mckenzie was attentive to my mothers needs,very prompt with giving her the ordered medications, very friendly. The resident who saw my mom Paolo, if only all physicians were as humble and attentive as he was with her. He took his time to listen to my mothers issues, took the time to take her history, he explained everything in detail and most of all he checked on her often and also provided feedback as far as next steps being taken. I was really impressed with service.
