Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery - Saratoga Springs (NY)

5 /5 Ryan Mazierski: The Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery is located on the Skidmore College campus in Saratoga Springs, NY. It has two large gallery rings and two smaller gallery rings. The exhibit spaces are easy to walk around. The museum does have a permanent collection, but often displays traveling or touring art exhibitions. Currently, the works of Alexis Rockman and Mark Dion are on display. The works presented by these artists are interesting, understandable, and enjoyable. Best of all, the museum is free! It takes about an hour or two to see the entire museum. Call ahead for their hours or check their website. Definitely, a nice small art museum for all to see.

4 /5 Theresa St. John: Many great exhibits, changes frequently, friendly staff and I love that it is free. I visit several times a year and spend about 2 hours there each time. No matter when I go, Im interested in art on display. I wish that there wasnt so much empty space inside, I feel like there could be more art to enjoy in this wonderful place.

5 /5 Huang Peter (Pete): Nice art museum in the Skidmore college. I really enjoyed the current exhibit of Mark Dion and Alexis Rockman. The elevator seems to be an art installation itself(?) but we did not hear any music.

5 /5 Sergio Dias: Part of Skidmore College, their art gallery, was great. The art pieces were alluring and thought-provoking. Upstairs was a treat with the turntables and a bunch of old records

5 /5 Sean Donohue: With free admission, rotating exhibits (which are sometimes immersive and interactive), and a friendly and knowledgeable staff, the Tang Museum is a wonderful place to spend the day.
