5 /5 Teddy Sainphor: This is one of the most beautiful buildings in Rochester. It also has a hidden gem - one of the most expansive and impressive atriums around. From inside and out, theres absolutely nothing that isnt short of spectacular! The first floor has retail which includes a tailor, an optometrist, and much more. It also has quite a few sculptures and art pieces. Entrances off of State Street and Main Street lead to the atrium. The atrium itself has another hidden gem in the form of Sapporos cafe, which will be covered in a later review. Ferns and hostas proliferate throughout this multi-story extravaganza. You really feel like youre in a whimsical garden while walking through the space. Being that its mostly professionals in the building its nice and quiet. A perfect spot to read a book or simply have a seat and relax. No matter the weather, youll leave this space feeling brand new. Its truly remarkable.

The parking garage is conveniently located next door with a walkway on the 2nd floor attached so you dont have to go outside. If you have a chance you should go and check out the companies that are inside this building and see the architecture!

Washington Square Park - Rochester

Rick Rodgers: I rode in Rochesters first "Crow Ride" that started and ended at the park. Perfect spot for gathering for a ride...or for crow watching as they visit the park and surrounding roof tops.

Jacks Place - Penfield

Grafton: Great playground for elementary age kids and a second one great for toddlers. Huge open fields to play with a mile round dirt/stone track. Bathrooms are open during summer time and a good amount of small pavilion areas to picnic. If you fly kites, this is the place to do it as long as sports arent going on.

Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Park at Manhattan Square - Rochester

Blaise Dovarro: Location which hosts the Rochester Party in the Park concerts. Great time on a nice summer night! Need to maneuver to a spot where you have a view of the stage, but overall a decent venue.

Joseph Kerski: You can’t go wrong when there’s a Frederick law Olmstead Park here… The designer of many beautiful parks in America… There was an 11° wind chill despite it being mid April when I was there - so not many folks were around, but it was beautiful nonetheless.

Abraham Lincoln Park - Webster

Broden Bartlett-Bryce: This was my first time coming to this park and spent a good 4 hours hiking the trails. The entrance has a playground and for the nature area, there is quite a bit of up and downhill segments and a variety of different paths to take. There’s some really nice spots to view Irondequoit Bay as well. Lots of wildlife such as deer, snakes, toads, birds, etc. It’s a really nice park.

New York Museum of Transportation - West Henrietta

Nicholas Swann: YouTube video of N.Y. Museum of Transportation. One of my favorite, enjoyable, educational tours was my trip to the New York Museum of Transportation. They had a wide variety of vehicles dating back a century, "The Trolley". And you can go for a ride on it. While on the ride, an employee of the museum narrated some history, it was interesting. Some of the other vehicles there were old fire trucks, (including the hook and ladder) plows trucks, old black top roller, an original Greyhound bus, and more. I would strongly suggest if you are looking for an afternoon to get out and see something different go there. Kids enjoy it also. They see the way things were back in the days.

Rothfuss Park - Penfield

Selina Ruiz: I absolutely love it here. Its a great place to go with my dog to play fetch, my nieces can play on the playground, we can get a good walk in, the views are stunning. The bathrooms are clean and its easy to get water for my dog.

Edmund Lyon Park - East Rochester

Broden Bartlett-Bryce: It’s a decent park with some pathways, benches, and a splash pad. It has some nice memorials as well and history related plaques.

Braddock Bay Park - Rochester

Deb Welch: I actually only visited the kayaks, canoes entry dock. I was quite impressed by the thoughtful inclusion for handicap paddlers. The Bay was beautiful, and the dock was clean and well kept. The scenery was nice, too. I do plan to return and walk around more and explore. Ill let you know what I find.
