2 /5 ILKP JZ: I walked in expecting a simple, quick men’s haircut, but the stylist gave me an uneven cut and then pressured me into getting a perm. I thought it would be a simple wave that would give me volume since that’s how he explained it. Once they started wrapping three curls, I realized it was going to take much longer than expected. I told them I needed to leave by 6:30, but the women said they couldn’t stop because they had already started—even though it had only been a couple of minutes and could have easily been stopped. The whole process ended up taking 1.5 hours. They rushed through the perm because I needed to leave and they were closing soon, so I don’t understand why they started in the first place. The result was way too curly, uneven (one side curlier than the other), looked nothing like the picture I showed them, I ended up leaving at 6:50, and top of that, I ended up paying far more than I planned.
