5 /5 Mike Waldron: Things arent always wonderful here but the one thing I can always count on is the wonderful smiling face of an aide named Abby. Honestly I dont ever think I have ever met a more wonderful person in my life. No matter what is going on and how horrible my day is going she always has a way of taking care of things and not only taking care of the problem but getting me to smile in the process. She truly is a very special person very loving and caring and no matter how her day is going or whats going on you would never know it and I know shes only human and like all of us she faces hardships like just recently she has had problems with her foot and ankle so the doctor put her in a boot which would make most people take time off but not Abby I joke with her at times that I can hear her clip clop into my room and she always tells me to knock it off lol. Its all in good fun and I would never do anything to cause Abby and undo pain or suffering. So many residents rely on her every day for so many things. There is a term that is used to describe her and that term is angel and at first I really didnt fully understand what that fully ment but now I really do and that is absolutely accurate when it comes to her. She really is just that she unselfishly does whatever is needed of her and never complains. I feel bad when I get selfish and look forward to her being on my wing and she gets put other places but I have to realize that other people deserve to get loved on by Abby too not just me. I just really really appreciate her and wish all other aides would learn from Abby more places would be so awesome. I could go one literally for hours about how amazing she is but its really not necessary all you have to fo is meet her for just a few minutes and you would understand just what I have been saying it just comes through bright and shiny.
