  • Ritual Salon - Rochester
Carofanello Catherine (newanon16): I love coming to Ritual to get my hair done by Abbi. I followed her from her previous salon and Im glad I did! Shes so professional and friendly and always does an amazing job with my curly hair. I get dyed every two months and the magic she creates with the colors we pick is stunning. The salon itself is also fantastic and incredibly relaxing. Its so nice to sit with a cup of tea or water while I wait for my hair to process. A great salon over all!
    #1 Nails - Rochester
Kelly Accorso: Great service nails do not lift. Very fast for fills! Can do regular acrylic sets as well as powder dipped (with crazy amount of powders to choose from)
    Sacandaga Style - Fultonville
Krystin Grant: Lynda was so nice & got us in right away. Jen did my mother in laws hair for me. They were polite. Both women welcomed us in. They were both in happy, friendly, warm & professional. They invited us to wash our hands then get comfortable. She even got me the remote to watch what I wanted while my mother in law was getting her hair done. The place was warm, comfy &pleasant to be at. My mother in law had a nice time & her hair came out beautiful! Every other customer coming in acted like they just came home. Everyone seems to love Sacandaga style!

Veronica Yi: I’ve been going to artonus for about 6 months now and this has now become my go to place for nail art and extension! they are absolutely amazing! the staff is so sweet and the studio is super cozy! they can do a variety of different styles and are extremely meticulous! i really like that they also help you decide on certain designs, shapes, and colors through a brief consultation. they take the extra time to really understand what you want!
Your Highness Nails - New York
Shirley Ho: Look how pretty these nails are :) Vanessa is wonderful!! Meticulous, patient, so careful about the health of your hands and nails - and super eager to help with tips and recommendations. Even if you don’t know what you want, she’ll put together something beautiful and fun
Elegant Nails & Spa (Greenwich) - New York
fatima zahra: I never post reviews, and this is going to be my first one. I called beforehand to inform about acrylic removal and regular manicure. They confirmed that they do it. I walked in, and they assisted me quickly, though at first the lady said $33, but on call she said it was $29, but we settled that. Later on, as she was removing my acrylics, she was complaining about how hard it is to remove them and that I shouldn’t do it the next time. This is really unprofessional and rude because I am paying for the service, and I even called to inform you that this is the service I would want. After she finishes removing my acrylics, midway she says that I should go pay before she continues with the service which is so disrespectful because no other nail tech was doing it to their client. And when she saw me get up to go pay because I didn’t want to question or make a scene out of it, she just said, No, it’s okay, pay later. I felt extremely discriminated against throughout the whole experience because she wasn’t even doing it right, and she had an attitude the whole time with me. Before applying the regular nail polish, she didn’t perform the right cuticle care, like removing the dead skin around it. She literally half-assed the job. I would not recommend coming here since this is how they treat their customers. I regret not walking out halfway because of how disrespected and discriminated I felt throughout this whole time. They don’t even care to acknowledge their Google reviews or do better because clearly they just copy-paste and then add it to ChatGPT, which they’re going to do to mine too, which says a lot about them.
M&M studio nyc Nails and Eyelashes - New York
Jamie Wernet: A few years ago I decided I wanted to be a nail girlie. When a different salon totally cooked my nails with Gel-X extensions, I thought I could never keep it up. Now you’ll find me at M&M studios every three weeks, happy as a clam and sporting gorgeous nails. I do a gel fill so I don’t have to soak my nails in acetone. It looks perfect and honestly lasts me 3-4 weeks. I only come back in week three because the regrowth bugs me — I’ve never had a chip or a break. Kana does a beautiful job every time. And, they’re dog friendly and so sweet to my dog when she tags along. So glad I found this place!
Golden Glow Spa - New York
Emily Groveman: I’ve been going to Ivy and Maggie for more than two years now, and they kill it every time. They have such an eye for detail— show them any picture and they can recreate it perfectly. Get yourself an SNS manicure— my nails last four weeks without chipping every time… even if I’ve gone bowling!!
Golden Tree Nails & Spa - New York
Lola Kramer: I’ve been going here for years, and all along, Golden Tree has consistently maintained a clean, welcoming space with friendly manicurists who provide efficient services. I’m surprised the rating seems forever paused at a 3.8, but I suppose this proves these rating systems don’t always reflect a business’s grit or true performance — particularly from the locals who are there regularly and usually not the ones to review. The frequent customer punch card is the way to go and each time I wind up at a different salon, I regret not having waited for Golden Tree. Don’t forget to tip these hardworking women who run the show.
