Daniella Teta I have been a loyal customer of this nail salon for over 30 years, but after todays experience, I am heartbroken to say that I will not be returning. For the past week, I tried calling to make an appointment, but the phone line kept going straight to voicemail. I finally decided to walk in today, only to be told they were refusing me service and would not allow me to make an appointment—without any explanation. The way they handled the situation was extremely disrespectful.
For years, I have felt disrespected by the owner, who would make rude comments across the salon, like suggesting I needed to get waxing done, or rushing my daughters and our appointments because a "more important" client was coming in. My daughter even made an appointment a month in advance, giving ample notice of the services we wanted, yet we were still hurried out the door. Despite this, I continued to go because my nail technician is excellent at pedicures. However, the lack of sanitation and cleaning between clients was always worrisome. I often requested my technician to clean the station before starting, and each time it felt like I was being treated as a problem. But I’m not paying to risk an infection—I’m paying for a proper service.
Over the last few visits, the atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable: instead of a warm greeting from the owner, theres now a cold automated machine saying hello, making the place feel impersonal. The rising prices, paired with the unfriendliness and disregard for basic hygiene, made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
Kim, as a business owner, treating a long-standing client who has brought you so much business—over 10 of my family members and friends throughout the years—is disrespectful, unprofessional, and hurtful. I hope you reflect on this.

Kimberly B. Garcia I went in with my very first broken nail. Work was done from another place also from the area and she really messed up the shape (made them round not coffin). Melisa took care of me at Elmont Nails. Got my first tip ever. Im a natural nail person. Got powder done. She did so good. Perfect shape. No cuts. No complaints. :)
