Kayla Hirtzel Dr. Scott Noren was absolutely wonderful. He taught me a lot in the short visit I had with him and was very open about how wisdom teeth removal works. I’m sad that he ultimately decided not to do mine, but I understand that knowing your limitations as a doctor is important. Taylor Bennett Other than a small scheduling hiccup that was promptly resolved (within an hour), my experience was great. Had three wisdom teeth removed in one sitting. Surgery in the morning, a little pain by late afternoon. Pain was minor, nothing a little ice, and Ibuprofen couldnt handle. Doc called to check on me in the evening. Everything is good, and I will see him for a follow-up next week. I highly recommend Dr. Noren. Writing this the day of my extraction(s), back to my normal routine three teeth lighter.

Adeena Brown I love this practice. Dr. Zax is very friendly and I could not be happier with her work. My smile looks the best it has in a long time! The staff is amazing, you can tell theyve worked together for years and genuinely enjoy what they do. I feel fortunate to have found such a great dental team. On my first visit, everyone introduced themselves and made me feel right at home. Dr. Zax was very thorough and straightforward, did not rush me and made sure I was comfortable. She made an excellent treatment plan and answered all my questions. I feel her work is very reasonably priced and her staff is fantastic. A special shout out to hygienist Deb, she is gentle, sweet and thorough. Very encouraging too!

Mark O Joe is more than a dentist. He is a great guy, and a great friend. He went out of his way to help me in a major time of need, and I will never forget it. His staff is excellent, his prices are reasonable, and he is truly the nicest guy you could ever want to meet. He is the only dentist I never dreaded going to, and is one of the few things that I will miss about New York.

The Throttles and Life of Dolly Dr. Joe is awesome. Very personable. Very funny. The rest of the staff are also wonderful. I got my teeth cleaned and they made the experience very pleasant. The biggest issue I have is that the receptionist never seems to pick up the phone!!!! You could call all day and leave messages and someone or no one returns your call!! Youll have a better chance of getting through to mars!

Tracy Vesley He is just the best hands down. Gives it to you straight. Great sense of humor. First priority is your well being and you can tell he truly became a dentist to help people rather than help himself become as rich as possible off you. He literally came in on a saturday (planned) to give me a root canal so I could finish off my work week which was just one more day and have the weekend to recover! I couldnt say anything better about Dr. Joe... he is just the best. His hygenist are amazing too! Let me put it this way....Im writing this the morning after a root canal because I am feeling pretty dam good for having a root canal the day before! Guy knows what he is doing and if you have the opportunity to get under his care, well.... you have won the lottery!

Erin Harner Dr. Choi and the whole office has been absolutely wonderful through a tricky situation with one of my kids and two molars. They are kind, follow up if you have questions, and really care about their patients. Ive been to both the Corning and Ithaca offices and had great experiences with the staff at both places.

Michael von Dengler I had two lower wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Scott Noren. Dr. Scott Noren and his team explained everything before the surgery, and it put me at ease. Im 42 years old and Im on the older range for wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Scott Noren did amazing job with the surgery. I really didnt feel any soreness with the surgery for a couple of days. There was not too much blood and the stiches in the back of my mouth looked to be flawless to perfect. In my mind with some of the research I did on this surgery and my age he did a way above average surgery on my wisdom teeth. Im amazed on how the healing process appears to be going fast. Dr. Scott Noren called me after his office hours to see how Im doing. I told him Im doing much better than I expected. I feel Dr. Scott Noren is an amazing, gifted surgeon in his field, and you cannot go wrong utilizing him and his team. Thank you, Dr., Scott Noren! You have instilled faith in me. Someone who has not had too much faith in the medical industry in the past.

Dr. Noren and his staff were so friendly and knowledgable that they made me feel at home from the first second I walked into his office. I really trust him and appreciate his modern methods and general demeanor. The billing office is human, not stuffy and demanding like some know how to be. In a nutshell- this office is there for your dental needs and do not come across as only in it for money.

I felt so comfortable every step of the way & educated on the procedure that was taking place. Even after having my teeth removed they made sure to get me in quickly to see how I was doing, check on me and show me how to properly care for my wounds. They were very patient with me as I had never had surgery and was very anxious. I’ve never felt so comfortable in a setting so scary but they made everything very easy. Catalin Julian Machidon I have gone to Dr. Bonniwell for 2 surgeries so far. The first one was for removing my two molars. The process was so fast and smooth. He is truly the best. This is the first dentist that did the removal with no pain what’s so ever. I barely had to take any over the counter Tylenol. All the nurses and the stuff are very polite and truly amazing people. The second surgery I had was to remove all 4 wisdom teeth at once. I can’t believe how fast and smooth he did this. I feel 0 pain. All my friends were telling me this is going to suck and hurt after but it does not at all. This proves how amazing this doctor and the staff are. I believe he is truly the best in this area. Thank you Dr. Bonniwell and thank you to the staff. Don’t hesitate to book with him. He will take very good care of you.

Mariel Tader Couldn’t be more happy. I chipped my tooth and they were able to see me the next business day, the staff was super considerate and kind the whole time. I’ve had bad experiences before at dentists who just try to get everything done as fast and hack as possible, but here the doctor really took time to make sure that my teeth looked nice, felt good, and would work with my Invisalign. Her filling color matching is so good I can’t even tell it’s a filling!

Mike Roberts I second the reviewer who commented on the receptionist. The dentists and assistants are wonderful. My wife and I were very happy to finally find a practice that was good for the family. The number of times the billing has been screwed up or claims were not submitted is hard to count. Shell talk up people for extended periods about things unrelated to business while a line of people wait to pay or check in. Once, she cancelled my daughters appointment instead of mine after I left detailed instructions on whos appointment was being cancelled. Another time, I asked her if she would be willing to submit paperwork to my insurer so they could become an in-network provider for us and she declined stating that they wouldnt make as much money that way and if they did it for us, theyd have to do it for everyone. Pretty stunning. Excellent dentists. Horrible front of house staff. Ill be leaving the practice and if I can find another good dentist my family will be switching too. What a shame.

LL Great dentists and hygienists, but very rude receptionist. Very unapproachable and has a bad attitude. It seems other reviewers have the same issues. If you cancel, you get shunned.

Carrie Deng Warning! Over-treatment. Imprudent examinations and operations. There is no disclose of what are their treatment plans, and neither there is a discussion with the patient about their plans prior to arrange you an aggressive treatment. You only realized something off when they actually destroyed your tooth nerves through their over-treatment. My tooth become more sensitive and inflamed after they aggressively removed my part of good tooth for some unknown reasons. But previously i was only agreed to replace the filling! Also, they over-sell you extra chargeable service in the middle of the service that is covered by your dental insurance. I was asked to buy their oral-cancer examination in the middle of the routine cleaning. If you don’t buy or refuse their treatment, they pulled a long face in front of you! Also their routine cleaning is lesser and incomplete compared to other dentals I have yearly been. Don’t come here if you want to save your tooth.

Kira Hyde TLDR; Bad unqualified service with no help I had such a horrible experience here. When working on my teeth I was casually told that the dentists daughter was helping out because her assistant had Covid. It did not seem that the daughter had the qualifications to be in my mouth despite being reassured She helps out often. I was very skeptical and had my tooth decay worked away. I had no idea what was going on the whole time I was being worked on. Only to find I was left with a horrible temporary crown not properly fitted to my tooth. It fell out about a week later leaving my nerves raw and me in agony. I was out of town and had to book an emergency appointment to get it back on. It was so poorly made it came out 2 days later. When it came to putting on the permeant crown the appointment went very quickly by someone I had never met. I tried to insist I needed a root cannel. They told me not to worry. Ive since been in terrible pain. And had to visit a new dentist to redo their shoddy work and give me what I had asked for in the first place. To add insult to injury I have gotten several nasty voicemails about owing 6 dollars. Save your mouth and your wallet and AVOID

Michael Salm I really miss Dr. Regnier. He was easy-going and did excellent work. His staff is/was great and knowledgeable and really knew how to put you at ease. This new guy apparently got his education by a mail-order "university" in Guam since his Assistant had to tell him everything! For example, as he is starting to put a drill in my mouth she says, "Do you want to put a cotton roll in there to protect the tongue?" This was the case with every single thing he did; she had to tell him what to do. Pay HER the big bucks because she is the only competent person in the room! I just got a quote from them for over five grand of work. I wouldnt pay this guy $0.25 to wash my car. Run, dont walk, away from this place. Sad, because the staff are great. But this guy doesnt know your mouth from a hole in the ground!

Megan Wheeler Hogan Make sure you read the date on 3, 4 and 5 star reviews. If this was 8 years ago they would have gotten 5 stars from me because Dr. Reigner was amazing and did great work!! However - he has since retired and there is someone else there now. This last time I came back it wasnt until after I got my procedure done they let me know they were out of network so I had to cover all the costs, they then stated they hadnt finished everything and wanted me to come back - to which I then said I couldnt because they were out of network. The two root canals I had them complete didnt even last 2 years and Im not going to most likely have to get them redone as chunks keep braking off and falling out.

abbys crafty corner teeter Friendly staff...you pay for what you get...he has fixed several teath from previous work from other dentist... not pushy in any way to have work done . You go when you are ready and comfortable... great for fixing fillings crowns and ect. I highly recommend him over many dentist that are well known in the area ..he has had to fix a lot of issues they did incorrectly....will never go anywere else ...in addition you can call and ask them how much a cleaning will be or filing..like I said I would rather pay and have them done correctly than have a filling fall out several times in the past from previous dentist ...he takes good pride in his work !!♡♡

richard rand Ive been a patient of Dr. Ambis since he opened his practice, more than 40 years ago. He and his staff have done a great job of helping me keep my teeth and my gums in good shape. He is very concerned with pain control. He also treated my father when he was 90 years old. Ithaca is very fortunate to have Dr. Ambis available.

Laura Fegely The best dentist in Ithaca. After years of having dentists who took advantage of me and gave me unnecessary fillings, Dr. Ambis was a breath of fresh air. I scheduled my first appointment with Dr. Ambis about 7 years ago, after being told by my dentist at the time that I needed two fillings (something I was being told at almost every cleaning). During my first appointment, Dr. Ambis said that I didn’t have any cavities that needed to be filled, and that I just had two weak spots that I should pay extra attention to when brushing and flossing. My old dentist had been drilling what didn’t need to be drilled in order to make a quick buck. Dr. Ambis will never try to sell you unnecessary procedures. He doesn’t judge your for the state of your teeth, and he is incredibly accommodating to folks dealing with dental anxiety. I cannot recommend his office more highly.

Jari Poulin The best oral surgery experience of my life, and Ive had many. Dr. Scutari and his team made me feel comfortable and confident from the first consult. The actual surgery, a sinus lift and bone graft, was painless and afterwards I had much less discomfort than I had anticipated. Little swelling and already almost pain free on day three. Would highly recommend Dr. Scutari.

Monika Aliosius I had an emergency with a very painful (previously crowned) molar, which needed to be extracted. My dentist felt the extraction needed to be done by an oral surgeon, and referred me to Dr. Scutari. From personally replying to my e-mail after hours (!) to taking me in right away and performing a difficult extraction with minimal pain, this doctor is not just a very kind and caring person, but an excellent oral surgeon. I cant praise Dr. Scutari enough and highly recommend him!

Stefanie Clinton Dr. Scutari and his staff are AWESOME! I had 4 orthodontic extractions plus 2 wisdom teeth taken out at the same time, and my experience from beginning to end was great! They are all friendly and did a wonderful job easing my nerves. They make it very easy to submit a claim to insurance, so no issues there. Also, I was surprised at my super speedy recovery! I had minimal pain on day 2 and NO pain on day 3. Now, that’s a stellar surgeon!

Shanana Nanana I just recently had 2 of my wisdom teeth taken out. Before my appt. I was careless and didnt get my meds until sunday and came to realize i didnt have all the prescriptions i needed for the day of. The surgeon on his day off made it so i could get them right away. They made sure I understood everything that was going to happen before and after the surgery. They were great when I had to come back in and get my holes packed. I had to take my twin 2 yr Olds with me and they were so good to us while we were there. Very helpful. Could not have asked for a better place to take care of me. Definitely recommend them and I really dont like going to the dentist lol.

Linette Vary Dr. Bonniwell is amazing. I am a phobic of dentists and needed 2 teeth pulled. He got me right in, did xrays and set up for surgery a few days later with IV sedation. The staff is caring and very skilled. I highly recommend this place! My daughter goes here too, and she loves the entire staff!
