Shane Mikaelson 0 stars. They will call and reschedule your appointment consistently after 6 months to get in because their hygienist is never available for when the people make the appointment. If you cant immediately take the new time that is offered they cant get you in for another 6 months. Guess what? Its been over a year. Find someplace else to go.

bethanne brennan Went to her for a Root Canal just the other day. It was one of the best experiences with a dentist I have ever had. She has excellent bedside manner and great staff. She explained what she was doing the whole time while making sure I was not in pain. I would definitely go back to her if I need anymore procedures done.

Amber Extremely rude! I have never in my life had a "professional " speak to me the way she did. Takes full mouth x ray, and then asks me a question about the last provider, when I go to tell her "theyre currently having issues processing insurance claims" , she then asks me "if Im going to keep talking or let her work" so taken back, she obviously noticed my look of disgust, be cause she says "Im sorry Im very Blunt" I said "ok, so am I so lets do this" she puts her fingers in my mouth and says "we can do this but its not going to fit , and youre not going to be happy" so then I say " if I get them, and they dont fit , what are my options then?" She says "theres no money involved so ?" Excuse me , my insurance pays for it.. so while I might not be handing you cash she still gets paid. I said "you know what how unprofessional are you!? You ask me questions then when I answer, you basically tell me to shut up because Im asking questions about my own dental care?" I said "no way am I letting anyone pay you, youre extremely rude and unprofessional and your attitude is surely going run your business straight into the ground". The state now knows of her rude and unethical ways, and might I add that your facility is nasty.. I will be calling the health department next. The reviews of your business practices say it all!!

Devin Stiles Every trip to Carthage dental care has been a pleasant experience for me. The staff if comforting and the Doctor is very skilled at her work. There is a wonderful view from the treatment room, and the atmosphere is very appealing. I recommend this office to anyone in need of dental work of any sort.

jake This dentist is incredibly unprofessional. Were filing a formal complaint with the state because she missed a cavity, which we noticed the next day. When we brought the issue to her, she said she wouldnt continue the exam because she had missed it before? Very odd.

Carrie Stephens I woke up with extreme tooth pain and knew I needed a dentist fast. I did not have a dentist so I called around to several places that could not get me in for several weeks, then I called Dr. Tinellis office who was able to get me right in and referred me to an oral surgeon the next day! Awesome job, and thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to see a first time patient. I was met by a kind courteous staff, clean office and friendly faces. I will definitely be going back. Outstanding job!

Amy Bartholomew I really dont like going to the dentist, and have always dreaded appointments. But Dr. Tinelli and all of his wonderful staff make the experience as good as it can be. I have had the worse luck with previous dentist, and I have finally found the right dentist and the best! Everyone there is so friendly, compassionate and goes out of their way to make the visit stress free. I will always have anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr. Tinellis practice is by far the best.

Sarah Haley Cant say enough good things about this place. Ive been going for a few years now and theyve always been wonderful. Im in and out in 25 minutes for a filling or a cleaning. Ive never been a fan of the dentist and always had anxiety about going, even if it was just for a cleaning! Dr. Tinelli and his staff are all lovely and make me feel calm, even let me use my headphones while getting a filling done.

Did not feel very welcoming.The dentist was rude and made me feel like he didnt want to listen to anything I had to say. Very dismissive. Hurt me while cleaning my teeth and then tells me its my fault. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because of the assistant.

The dentist rushed through the process and was very rough. She also only polished the filling after I explained how rough it felt. Waiting to see new dentist to get it fixed.

Laura Stegmann INVISALIGN REVIEW ONLY If you care about the aesthetics of your teeth and your wallet at all, I would urge you to go anywhere but here. I know Watertown is a small town, and options are limited, but do yourself a favor and go to the Invisalign website and search for at least a Platinum provider. Dr. Clough-Perin is a dentist, not an orthodontist, and she might have done ‘some training’ from Invisalign; but she doesn’t understand anything about the movement of teeth yet cares for their looks. SmileDirect Club probably would have given a better customer service and experience than her. There is a lot I could write about what went down, but to bring it to the point. I went to Dr. Clough-Perin for what she called “an easy fix.” Not knowing anything about Invisalign, I listened to her advice on what treatment plan to choose and went with Invisalign Light. My initial 14 trays turned into 26! I started voicing that I didn’t think my teeth were moving halfway through my initial treatment. She said, “it’s all part of the process.” After 12 months of wearing aligners, I still don’t have straight teeth and was left with gaps that could have been prevented. To what she said, “this is as good as it gets.” Very frustrated and $5000 later, I went to 2 Platinum and Diamond rated Orthodontists for a free consultation, and both assured me that my teeth were not the problem, but her treatment plan was, and I would need another full set of Invisalign treatment. I called to ask if she was willing to refund me some of the cost, to which she said she couldn’t do that because she paid for some of my refinement aligners (Lies, I called Invisalign directly, and they told me it was complimentary), she also said she told me from the beginning I needed a full treatment instead of the Invisalign Light version, which was also a lie and feeble attempt to make herself look like she actually knew what she was doing. What I experienced pretty much goes along with her other reviews of her being rude and rushing everything.

Allix Swanson I just had a root canal done with Dr. Ian Prins, and he was the most patient, and kind dentist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I was extremely nervous, and had several questions about the procedures and the aftermath, and he took the time to talk me through each scenario. He genuinely made me feel heard and I felt very comfortable in his care. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to him to others in the area, but especially military families looking to see someone they can trust. Given that there aren’t any Endodontists within 100 miles from here that are covered by our insurance, I would gladly pay out of pocket again for his service, and that says a lot. Thank you Dr Prins for your 10/10 care!!!!

Joshua Adams Went with tooth/gum pain left with it to. Told me to brush and floss which I literally do twice a day. 2 weeks later still have the same pain going to have to make another appointment with a dentist that will help.

Jaclyn W Let me just say, regardless of what I say here, a root canal is a 0/10 recommended event. However, the office staff, assistant, and doctor were all very nice and very professional. The doctor listened to me regarding my historical resistance to any anesthetics tried so far and took his time and a lot of medication to make sure I was comfortable throughout a 2+ hour ordeal. I walked in there terrified (I have general, severe anxiety around dentists and, particularly, dental procedures) and always hearing how bad root canals are to go through. Again, while this was not fun and not a way anyone should aim to spend a couple of hours of their life, the experience was about as painless and positive of one as it could have been. It was so much better/easier than I had been expecting.

F M Kind and professional towards me and my littles. My only caveat and this is literally me nitpicking is that the dentist did not wear a mask when he was doing my exam. With him being up close to my face I think it would be a little more sanitary if he uses a mask when he goes up to patients faces. But all in all not a bad experience.

leah m The assistant that did the xrays and got me ready was so wonderful! She was very efficient and explained everything. The doctor came in, introduced herself and started the exam. She did something as part of the exam I have never had done anywhere else. She took the tool and went under my gums saying 4 numbers per tooth. It was very painful and made my gums bleed a lot. When she was doing the cleaning it was so painful I actually had to tell her to stop. I got through it but I have never had pain during a cleaning before. I was shocked. It felt like she was rushed during it as well. The doctor was nice but Ive never had an experience like that during a cleaning. Ive also never seen a Dr do a cleaning. It is always the dental hygienist. And Im supposed to go back for a filling....

Neil Engel I am extremely disappointed in my experience with this office. After only two exams and one cleaning, they suddenly claimed I needed an expensive deep cleaning procedure due to “gum levels”—something no previous dentist ever mentioned. Despite TRICARE already approving and covering my dental care, they tried to charge me over $200 in copays for a service that seemed more about generating revenue than genuine patient need. This kind of upselling is a disgrace and a disservice to military families. There was no thorough explanation, just a hard push toward a procedure I never needed before. It felt like I was being treated as a billing opportunity, not a patient. I strongly caution others to get a second opinion before accepting any treatment plan here. This should not be the standard of care at a military-serving provider.

W.D. Daley It was 1971 and the pool at the Holiday Inn in Atlantic City was cloudy…but I was an eager eight year old who loved to swim. I dove in. Bam! I chipped my front tooth! For the last 50+ years I’ve been dealing w procedures to fix my smile, none of which were effective nor attractive. Fast forward to 2023: a friend recommended Dr. Ahlgrim to me - which turned out to be a great stroke of luck. Dr. Ahlgrim built for me the most perfect crowns for my front teeth. They’re absolutely perfect! Dr. Ahlgrim is an outstanding dentist supported by a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him and his team. I’ll be forever grateful for their efforts.

Bradley Meeks Dr Ahlgrim has been providing dental care for myself, wife and son for over 20 years. My son from about the age of six until he moved to Scotsdale several years ago and he is now in his late 20s. Our experiences at this office have felt like its actually family that is looking after us. Couple stories here gonna be a bit long sorry in advance. When my son was very young Dr Ahlgrim had a panoramic ex-ray performed on him. It indicated the secondary teeth wouldnt have enough room when they came in and he would most likely have crowded teeth. He installed a palate expander for a year or so and as my son grew his secondary teeth came in dead straight perfect. No need for expensive orthodontic work. Also when my son was in college in Arizona he visited a dental office there and they said he needed all kinds of service. I told him dont do a thing as he was scheduled to fly home and Id have the Dr look at him and sure enough not a thing wrong with him other than going to a dishonest provider in Arizona. My wife when we initially moved here wasnt with Dr Ahlgrim and left her provider and came home and they said she had this and that wrong and needed to schedule work. I said to my wife wait a minute go see my Dr first and sure enough not a thing wrong with her teeth and to this day nothing wrong and the Dr would probably tell you shes has some of the healthier teeth he treats. So once again a shady dental provider before going to Dr Ahlgrim. I have more stories but will leave it there. Last July I had to have a tooth extracted by Dr Reed Attisha another stellar practitioner. I decided to go thru with an implant. 9 month process and yesterday after taking molds previously Dr Ahlgrim installed the final piece the crown. Today as I write this it feels absolutely perfect. Fits perfect no foreign feeling no weird bite and feels absolutely natural an unnoticeable. The staff here are caring, talented and fun. Dr Ahlgrim is like the guy you want to hang and have a beer with. If your looking and trying to decide on a dental practice look no further and your welcome.

amanda h Made an appointment with this office for a cleaning based on them accepting my insurance (verified this at the time). I called in August and had to wait until February for an appointment because that was the next available. Now they call me, less than a week before my appointment, to say they no longer accept my insurance!

Dawn Marie Extremely disappointed. Was a patient more than 3 yrs, myself and 3 kids. The past year and a half its been they can only get us our 6 month check up every 9 months. This last visit to the dentist I had said we need our teeth cleaned every 6 months. If you can not provide that then I am going to have to find another dentist. However, I personally asked the dentist if he was ok with me and my youngest coming for the filling appointment we had. That way it would have given me enough time to switch everything. He said yes of course. I called because I knew our appointments were coming up and the receptionist tells me that I dont have an appointment. That we have been dismissed. Its sad that this is what it is. I think it was extremely unprofessional of them. Not to mention I had to have a root canal done & the dentist was telling me that insurance didnt cover something that needs to be done. I would have to pay out of pocket. Second opinion from another dentist said no you dont need that. Thats not necessary. If they have so many patients and know that they have to have cleanings every 6 month but have over booked the patients to the point they are booking every 9 months for a cleaning, then they should adjust employees to patient ratio or have not accepted new patients when they were making appointments on time like they should have.. Obviously its about the money to them.

J Update: Nothing has changed, they call me at 8:40 am and ask if I want an 11am same day on a weekday, I reply no I have to work and took the time off for the appointment I Already have...after i I remind them this is the 2nd time this has happened and ask why make the appointment then if you never can keep them "Well we have a new hygienist" So I say I have an 1130 next week, reply is they dont do 1130s anymore, so I ask if 11 that day is fine, the reply I get is Ill have to look and get hung up on. Will be switching asap lol I had a deep cleaning 2 years ago or so here, had a 6 month follow up scheduled, then it was cancelled "due to covid" then I never heard anything back so I called them months later to find out that they were now booked out 9 months. Fast forward a year and a half later Im 2 days before my "6 month"follow up and get a call to reschedule a whole extra month out and when I questioned their schedule situation I was completely chewed out on the phone "do you ever call in sick? Do you ever have plans to reschedule?" So I just took whatever they had but now that Ive had time to think about it figured Id write this review. The care Ive received here was fine the last times Ive been in but who knows since its been so long! Who calls in sick 2 days in advance LOL get an attitude check

Rebecca Keegan Horrible HORRIBLE man dines is! He doesnt listen abd wants to argue that he knew my body better than him. He messed my arm up with his kindergarten attempt to find my "rolling" veins. I will never recommend him to anyone ever!! His nurses were great though thats about it

Aisha Rapant-Guevara Patient rooms are literally so dirty and dusty. I can only describe the size and condition of them as dirty NYC restrooms. The Dr. was fine. Whoever took my X-rays, though, was really rude. The receptionist was kind and was directing me to be ready to do X-rays. I was told my earrings were fine to leave in. The lady doing the X-ray gave me attitude about not being ready with my earrings off and was talking to me like a child. I was almost in tears. Needless to say I never came back to have my teeth extracted. Nasty office with nasty attitudes.

Jasmine Washington Dr dines was so sweet and did a great job with my tooth extraction’s. The nurses were also so comforting and great at their job as well.Helen at the front desk was so kind.

Bradley Meeks In July of 2024 Dr Attisha removed a molar that had cracked enough that periodically it would present problems. So we went thru the extraction and it was painless and required no nsaids post extraction. I had bone graph performed after extraction to grow bone to accommodate an implant so I could have a crown eventually installed. The crown was installed yesterday by Dr Ahlgrim another stellar provider and my new tooth/crown feels absolutely spot on perfect. Dr Attisha is a talented provider who clearly wants to help you and not provide services you dont need. Hes your advocate and bed side manner couldnt be better. A guy youd want to have a beer with. The office staff is professional, talented helpfully and I love hearing Aprils Alabama accent. Feel confident in choosing this office and know your in good hands.

Daniel Powell Dr. Attisha is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring. While most places are just out to make a dollar, the Doctor went over all the options with honesty and integrity. It’s nice to know there are still doctors out there whose sole purpose is to do what’s best for their patients. I will be recommending anyone who needs oral surgery to go here from now on.

Lillian Taylor First of all- I was never even given an exam at my last dental cleaning bc Dr. Virga could not be bothered and had to go to lunch. So I was expected to reschedule another appointment for an exam. Then they told me for 60 days I owed them $108 even though my insurance kept telling my they covered all of my cleaning. Therefore I had to wait even longer than planned for my exam. For my next cleaning, I called 2 hours in advance to reschedule because my son had a 103 degree temperature and I need to take him to urgent care! Dr. Virga wanted to bill me $100 recheduling fee to be seen again!!! Unreal!!!! I am a single mother working 60 hours a week to make ends meet and now I guess I am not even allowed to reschedule a dental cleaning because my child is extremly sick. It is PERFECTLY OK for him to reschedule on his patients but GOD FORBID one of his patients get SICK! MONEY MONEY MONEY that is all This Dr cares about- clearly!

Rachel Coyle You know that when your children (5 of them, all under age 10) BEG to go to the dentist, you have found the right one! Dr. Andrew and his staff is the BEST that we have ever experienced. Weve always had a short wait time, thorough and extremely friendly care. They are all very gentle and kind with the small children - even the 2 year old puts his sunglasses on and lays back for his dental cleaning. I am impressed! I cannot recommend them highly enough! We will truly miss this office when we have to move.

He fixed up my sons teeth, and they look great now! The staff there is really friendly and very kids friendly! Were sad that we have to move and change my sons dentist!

Christine Anderson I love going to this dentist with my kids! I first brought my son when he was about 3 1/2 & needed major dental work . The local dentist refered out because he did not want to deal with it. The Doctor & staff were wonderful then! So, fast forward to when my same son is about 10 & we are told by another local dentist he has 4 cavities that need to be filled. The child already had a mouth filled with silver due to past surgeries so I took him back to Dr . Andrew for a 2nd option . Guess what .... He had 1 true cavity, 1 that could go either way since it was falling out & a sealant needed to be re done. After that we decided to move all the kids to him. Regardless of the 1 hr & 1/2 ride. Somethings in life are worth it.... Good teeth, great service . Win-Win! -
