Alexis Ross Colleen did an absolutely fantastic job with my curly cut. She walked me through the entire process and told me what products she was using. She also recommended products to me at the end of my service and I got them! She is so kind and friendly! I would 100% recommend you book with her.

Elizabeth Mitchell Lanie is a fantastic stylist! She’s easy to talk to, takes time to get my feedback about what I’m looking for in a haircut, and is very detail oriented. I leave her chair each time feeling put back together and loving my hair. I have a very positive experience with every staff member each time I visit TKO. The best salon I have been to since moving to Rochester 16 years ago and I am happy to have found a salon so close to home that checks all my boxes!

Lindsey Gigliotti Very welcoming environment. Everyone is so friendly and caring, always making sure you’re taken care of and comfortable. Lanie did an amazing job with my hair and I love how it turned out. Very knowledgeable and sweet. I’ve definitely found my new salon. Thank you so much!

Nicole Bailey was amazing with my kids! They absolutely loved her, we havent really found a stylist we really loved before but after they left their appointments with her, they said they wanted to go to her again and loved how their hair looked and felt! She has such a bubbly personality and very sweet! My older daughter said she felt like she could talk and be herself while sitting in her chair. Thank you Bailey!!

Fluffy Potato I love this place!!! Joshua did a fantastic job on my hair. He listened only took off what I wanted and was so kind and polite. I walked in on Sunday and they took me right away. Absolutely recommend he is a fabulous hair stylist. :)

sharlene Mason Went to get my eye brows done here. They charged me $16 and they are not even, they took off a big portion of my inner brow on one side and didnt do that on other side. Literally have to draw it in now (I am not a girl who does this usually) and have to wait for them to grow in a lot before I can even consider this to get fixed by some place else. Usually I have great things to say about the hair dressers figured Id give them a shot for brows.... Never again.

Nic I stopped in to get my kids hair cut before their first day of school. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us right in. They made a very good first impression.

K K (BrokenTigger) My hair wasnt quite right, I was unsettled and so was the stylist at Family Hair, Tara was amazing in helping me accomplish the color nearly spot on to what I was looking for. When she was done I was literally in happy tears, just in awe of what she accomplished with my hair. The phrase "team work makes the dream work" lives on in this peaceful, relaxing, down to earth, fun and very personable salon. Shout out to Josh for his techniques as well. Im like a rare weed that keeps popping up every now and then, but Ive been going to Family Hair for over 7 years and I really do like it there. They are great with everyone, even the littlest.

Kayla Pizura This is my first manicure ever. I am or was a nail biter and my nails never looked good. I would always get full set acrylic nails. But to prepare for my wedding a few months ago I had to really buckle down and not bite my nails. I came to Michelles Salon and Spa to see how the experience would be for my first manicure. My technician was Val and she was amazing I had natural nails and I asked for a nice shape to get my nails going. We chose a rounded square and hopefully I can get to a point they are ling enough for a oval or almond shape. I already have my next appointment booked for 2 weeks from now.

Rachel Rogers Amanda S. Is amazing here!!! Great consultation and always executes what I’m looking for. She has had me super cool blonde all the way back to brunette and maintains the integrity of my hair. A gem!! Highly recommend!

Wostrow When the owner is more concerned about the bottom line rather than the client...perhaps a review of integrity needs to be revisited instead of making it about money. I cancelled two appointments within 24 hours in the last 10 years due to a medical crises and you have the audacity to ask me for a credit card in order to make an appointment. No...Ill go someplace else. Thank you.

Crystal Bailey 1st of all, dont sign anything anywhere before you get your hair cut. Apparently, its company policy to have you sign a document that states you understand there are no refunds. I even joked with the stylist asking whether or not I was going to need to ask for one. I was there for a color, highlights and a trim. I arrived at 12:45 per my online booking. I felt comfortable with the stylist (who enlisted the help of Nate - he seemed very knowledgeable) discussing what I was looking for. Things seemed to be going along just fine. We even had some good conversation. Where it went south was when she realized she wasnt going to be ready for her 3:30 appointment. I had grown my hair out in the front and I asked for a thin layer of bangs. She only cut one side (see pic with blacked out face). I had also asked for a short layer in the back to give my thin hair some dimension. I have a difficult time growing my hair (I am in my 50s). I dont like to take too much off. I asked her about the gray that was still showing around my face once the color was complete. She informed me that was my hairline and they couldnt color that. What?!? She also asked if I was okay with just a "rough dry" because she didnt have time for a full dry and style. I was trying to be understanding. She was drying my hair and put the brush down on the table in front of me. It had black hair in it (my hair is dirty blond). I was appalled that she used a dirty brush. I couldnt wait to get out of there. I paid my bill ($160) plus tip and left. I wasnt going to say anything. I just wanted to leave. I went to my sister to ask her to fix my bangs and even them out. While there, I was told I had a large chunk missing in the back of my hair (see pic). I ended up having about 6" cut off my hair to correct it. That was the point that I decided I was going to call the manager. After 2 1/2 weeks of no one returning my calls, I finally have an answer - they offered to fix my hair (already done) or give me products of their choice to help my hair grow back. There was no way I was receiving a refund of any kind. They told me they have cameras that they watched but they never took any responsibility for what they did to my hair. To be honest I felt like they were somehow blaming me for the situation. Absolutely disgusted and traumatized by this situation! I will NEVER go there again and I will not recommend this place to anyone!

DaNenee Nate was A M A Z I N G! He did a wonderful job cutting and styling my hair. I brought in a picture of the style I wanted. He was genuine and honest about the style I chose. He offered tips on how to keep my hair healthy even though I bleach each. Thank you Nate! I will definitely suggest you to others and I will be back.

Jessica Barnard The hairdressers were very sweet, and at first I was happy with my haircut, but upon actually looking at it, I want to cry. I had one side of my head shaved previously, and originally asked for that to be cleaned up and for my dead ends to be trimmed. She talked me into shaving the other side of my head, which I am not upset about. What I AM upset about l, however, is that she took the original line on my shaved side half an inch higher on my head, which I DID NOT WANT, and when she did the other side, she SHAVED TO MY WIDOWS PEAK. So now I have a bald patch IN THE FRONT OF MY HEAD and the sides are NOT even. I am so upset.

Kathleen Burchfield I moved to the area and have been trying to find a hairdresser that gets what I want. I went to Becky and she was great! I love my cut! I had hesitated because the salon is right on the lake and I expected it to be very pricey, but it is comparable to the other salons I tried. I was impressed that other stylists were taking their time with clients, too.

Holl Doll Shaela is a very talented artist. I absolutely LOVE the way she cuts and styles my hair. I get so many compliments. Plus, shes so sweet, smart and fun! I look forward to every visit with Shaela. She is a real gem!

Holly T I had my first experience at this beautiful salon right on the lake in Canandaigua this week. Daisie and her staff are amazing and efficient, and I had the best color and haircut I’ve had in years. Daisy is experienced and skilled and listens to what you want…and you get it! Highly recommend!

Serena Johnson Daisy is a talented hairdresser! She knows her stuff and shares her skills with clients. I went in with 3b curls and used to NYC salon haircuts so the nerves were high. I was beyond satisfied with my cut from Daisy! Most importantly, she listens to her clients and does exactly what they ask. The welcoming atmosphere is contagious and I cannot wait to become a regular at the salon. Fantastic work

Bettie Boop I WOULD NOT recommend Tammy B! She was very nasty to my mother and myself. (On several occasions) Even when she totally messed up my mothers hair cut! Tammy cut it VERY noticeably uneven. I recommend going to Grayce Chapman Salon or someplace else before going back to Tammy B.

Betsy Rulison My hair was long and touching my butt before I came in for layers and a trim. I went in asking for 6/8 inches off and I was very clear about the style that I wanted and reiterated what I was looking for multiple times. My hair is now above my bra line and it is going to take a long time to grow back to the length I asked for. Because of getting layers I did not see how short it was in the back until I got home. When I called and spoke to the hairdresser she insincerely apologized.

Jessica Tracy They do amazing! Always treats their customers very nicely! This is my go to place when I’m wanting my nails done! I don’t get my nails done a lot, but they always seem to recognize me! Asks me what I would like, I gave them a run down of what I want and they suggest ideas for me, which always ends my nails looking better than how I imagine!

Maria Rivera My daughter and I had an amazing experience at this location. Everyone is socially distancing and it’s a very clean place. But My nail tech Vanessa gets all the kudos for treating us so nicely and doing such a great job based off of pics she was shown for inspiration. Definitely 5 star experience!

Anna Mallory I FINALLY FOUND THE BEST NAIL SALON IN THE AREA! I’ve tried salons in Newark and Geneva. Let me tell you- he actually got close to my cuticles (why are some places not going near them so you have to come get them filled in a week?!), he didn’t burn my thin nails with the drill, didn’t rush me to pick a color and actually helped me decide, kept checking in with me if I liked them and if he was hurting me. I didn’t leave with acrylic all over my skin, or with uneven nail shapes. (Yes, that and glue from the tips happened at the other places and it makes me just do my own nails because I hate saying anything). They didn’t have the one pinkish color I originally wanted on my ring fingers but he searched and found a color pretty dang close! I’m really not that picky and just want an acrylic overlay and gel polish on top or simple dip powder. This time I only needed a fill and new polish but wow I am beyond impressed! Other customers there seemed to leave happy as well. I will absolutely be back! I wish I caught the gentleman’s name for next time but, thanks again Lindsey’s Nails!

Brittany Rutz Love this salon! Best prices in town ! I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I’m due for a c section next week. The nail tech took extra special care of my extremely neglected and swollen feet! 10/10 recommend this place ! :) Only flaw is you can’t find a price list online! Gel pedi was $50! Regular is $40!

Tammra Schiller Boutique salon and spa on Canandaigua Lake. I really like being able to book a hair appointment the day of and used their online system. Front desk staff was very friendly when entering the business offering tea, coffee, or water. Walked me back to Lori’s chair. Lori was amazing and listened to what I wanted done to my hair. The convenience of an online appointment booking system will keep me coming back to Park West.

Cassy Coyne I got a brow wax for the first time since 2018 and the experience was wonderful! Ava is kind, informative, and efficient. I highly recommend Ava for all your waxing needs— she does fantastic work.

Debra Bay-Borelli I have been using services at Park West for over a decade. My stylist is the owner, Diane. Her skill as a stylist is exemplary. My color & cut have never been so good. I get so many compliments from so many people about both the quality of cut and color. The products sold are of the highest quality. I am able to select the best products for my hair & skin because of Diane’s extensive knowledge & training. I would recommend Diane, without reservation to everyone.

Miranda Lavalette I would 10000/10 recommend park west to anyone looking to receive any beauty services! I needed a last minute appt and could not find any salon to get me in. When I called Park West, Diane was so helpful and squeezed me into her schedule! I needed all over color which can be time consuming. Not once did they make me feel inconvenient and they took their time with my hair to ensure it was done correctly. My hair came out amazing and I am so happy. I was even offered refreshments during my appointment since it was fairly long. The staff there were very thoughtful and kind and I felt special. I am glad I was able to get in to this salon and will definitely be returning for their other services as well!

Jen Jen Each time that I come to Park West, I am greeted by a friendly smile. The receptionist checks me in and offers coffee, tea, or water (I believe they have a Keurig/type machine, so every cup is fresh). My stylist, Malaika, first asks if I simply want a trim or if I am looking for something new. She goes over what she is going to do to be sure we are on the same page. ...then she takes me to the back to wash my hair and massage my head. It stimulates my scalp, but frankly, I could fall asleep at that point. Malaika is young and fresh. She had given excellent recommendations to me in the time she has taken care of me. Park West carries a natural or organic line of hair care that makes my hair look and feel amazing. I appreciate everything about this salon. I have never had difficulty finding an appointment time that works with my schedule. I do not know if they have longer hours than other salons, it just feels like they do. Lastly, I have never been kept waiting for my stylist to finish with another client. They schedule appointments properly at Park West.

Brianne Jennison Andrea has been doing my hair for several years now and she never disappoints! I dont even have to explain what I want...she just goes to work and it looks amazing every time. I started bringing my daughter here as well and we always leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. The staff are friendly and she always accommodates our schedule for appointments.

Jessie K Its been a year and I am still so pissed about this. Disappointed. Dont do it. Improperly placed and all these paper tabs were left on because they were improperly installed, which was confirmed at 2 different salons I visited during my sisters destination wedding weekend, which is why I purchased the extensions in the first place. I ended up losing hair and developed a rash on my scalp. Be careful I lost $400 for 2 weeks of pain and skin irritation.

Valerie Pitka I booked an appointment two weeks in advance for highlights for my teenager, with the understanding that the service would cost $99. However, when we arrived and showed the stylist an inspiration photo of a girl with hair similar to my daughters, the stylist immediately dismissed it, saying that those highlights would end up looking like a "zebra." She then told us that if we wanted her to "expertly" place the highlights using her years of knowledge, it would start at $300—a far cry from what we were initially quoted. My daughter had highlights in the past and I said, we wanted it like that and she said couldnt highlight her as a partial because if she went over the same piece, it would not be the same color and look bad (my daughter only had 5 pieces from before and she said that would be a problem). Throughout the conversation, she repeatedly emphasized how her expertise would cost a lot more, making it clear that either she didn’t want to do the highlights or was just trying to upsell us significantly. After about five minutes of this, we decided to leave, disappointed and frustrated by the unprofessionalism and lack of transparency. I was really looking forward to this appointment, and it was incredibly disheartening to experience such poor service. I would not recommend this stylist based on my experience.

Susan LaRose Ive been going to Lauren for several years and I love that she gives me her full attention. I also value her professional opinion when it comes to my hair. I always leave the salon feeling like a million bucks.

Eliza Denesha The salon is clean and lovely. All the girls are great. I gave clear and realistic expectations for what I was trying to achieve, sadly, I left looking exactly the same and was charged the full price of $225. If what I wanted wasn’t able to be achieved then that should have been communicated to me during the process instead of turning me away from the mirror for the duration of the appointment. I’m also an experienced hair stylist and other options could have been discussed other than - completely covering a whole head of balayage highlights with a toner almost as dark as my hair, which is a very dark brown. Needless to say, will not return.

Rose Nicoletti Okay quality hair, but at outrageous prices. For balayage I got charged around 400 and i was charged 2 extra bowls, when there was only 1 extra used. Have anxiety so couldn’t say anything. Hopefully they don’t do this to others without them knowing…….

Michelle Krise I walked in on a Saturday morning without an appointment but there were three people working and there were no customers in there at 10:40. I asked for a trim- my hair was damp and it is long, no fanciness just two inches off bottom. I was told by the person at the counter that she only cuts men’s hair but she would ask the other two ladies. They all three looked at me and discussed in hushed voices but the conclusion was they had customers coming and could not fit me in. As my husband had dropped me off I waited until 11:02 in their waiting area. A man did come in for a haircut and woman arrived at 11;00am I gladly took my business to a place up the road that had 6 people waiting and 8 people working. I waited 10 minutes, got a great haircut in 15 minutes. At Beryl’s it just felt like they did not want to cut hair.

Autumn Sweltz If you care about your hair at all, stay away from this “salon”. She spent 3 and a half hours highlighting my hair for it to turn out nothing like we had talked about. And the highlights bled through the top of the foils so it looks really choppy on my roots. She also knotted my hair so bad she needed another lady’s help getting all of the knots out. Then gave me a 2 second cut that was not straight at all so I had to have her get the long pieces she had missed. Then offered half off so I can have another salon fix it so she could get to her next appointment. 0/10 do not recommend.

Holland Clark this is my absolute favorite place to get my hair done and i have not gone anywhere else since 2022. molly is so amazing here and she has done my hair for the past three years; she makes such a welcoming atmosphere and does an amazing job. i will forever recommend this place to everyone!

Jessie Norton I was so grateful for a walk in appointment at this salon, but my haircut was awful. This was my first time in, and chosen upon positive Google reviews. I’m usually not one to complain, but I asked for simple long layers. The stylist (Phylis) hardly dampened my hair before the cut and did the whole cut in 5 minutes (not at all joking). She yanked on my hair while brushing, making it frizzy and did everything so fast that I didn’t even have time to question it. After all I’m not a hair expert and did not want to cause any offense. My layers are so choppy and ugly that they put me in tears. The healthy hair I’ve been growing out for years is gone, and now I am forced to get it recut…my only option being a above the shoulders blunt cut. This horrible and humiliating haircut was supposed to be a simple fresh cut before starting college and by the end of fixing this dreadful cut I will have nearly a foot of hair cut off…when I had wanted to keep my length. This place may be fine for dye and styling (I have no experience here) but it is the only haircut that has ever put me in tears. I brought reference photos and everything, so that I could come out with the perfect cut. Everything said the cut was not too pricey and Phylis was friendly. I would appreciate a response from the owner(s). Like I said, I am not one to complain…and said nothing while at the salon, but a haircut this disappointing must be acknowledged.

Colleen Dunning Phyllis was responsive with my long distance questions before booking. When I arrived, she remembered my name and was ready for me. Very friendly atmosphere, I felt right at home. Phyllis did a great job creating the style I wanted for my sisters wedding.

Phyllis Pipolo My niece just went to have her 1 year old sons hair cut/trimmed for the first time. She told the stylist she only wanted his bangs trimmed out of his eyes and she did NOT want the curls or the rest cut. The woman then took it upon herself to cut ALL of his hair!! The first haircut is already emotional enough! And then for someone to take it upon themselves to do whatever they want after a mother has told them NOT TO? My niece was too shocked and upset to complain and just paid and left. I will NEVER go to this salon or recommend it to anyone ever again!

Christian Mortensen Would rate 0 if I could. Went in later (which is my 1st mistake) asked the technician if she was available or if I could make an appointment for another day if they were closed. She said she was free. I asked for a simple cleaning up of my edges and a small trim on the sides. Specifically said dont touch the length on top. She proceeded to take thinning scissors to the top on my head in a quick one handed hacking motion ruining my hair. My hair cut is severely crooked and uneven. Another stylist at a different salon said my hair will take months to be able to be fixed. Ive had to shave my head.

Catherine Moore I have been very pleased with the service I received from Shannon. She was thoughtful as I navigated my first color to cover the grays and gave sound advice. I have been back twice for roots with very consistent results. Shannon has been cutting my kids hair for more than 10 years. She has always been friendly and kind to them, although she is not afraid to offer her opinion when asked (I find this to be endearing because she is always her authentic self). My kids love Shannon and feel she is very kind. I finally took the plunge and asked her to cut my hair (curly, many trust issues due to that) and she has done a fantastic job. I would recommend Shannon.
