Facez of 2morrow I have been going here for 6 months now. Melanie is my stylist and Mary is the washer. Since i have been coming here my hair has been growing and looking flawless each time. They use great products and is careful with your hair. The price is reasonable for the work they do. I am alway happy and hair popping each time i come to my hair.

Islande Cazeau FYI...... This salon was my go-to since 2006. I kept going even when ownership changed because the new owner had worked there before. After a salon visit for a wash and set, I couldnt find my Louis Vuitton wallet/key holder when I went for my car. I went back to the shop to look for it with the help of the salon owner but couldnt find it. I wasnt worried since I knew I had taken it and it was somewhere in the shop. After she helped me look, I told the owner I would take an Uber home and leave my car in front of the salon because closing time was 7. I told her she can just check the cameras for me in the morning , she agreed. The next morning I returned to search for my Louis Vuitton wallet/key holder but still couldnt find it. Since there were few customers when I was there, she told me she didnt need to check the cameras. I had no desire to argue or force her to act. The establishment had served me for 17 years. I left her business and called the police. After reviewing security footage, the cops found my wallet/key holder inside the shop.Two weeks later I returned to the shop for my regular hair care routine . The owner told another stylist to tell me she no longer wanted to do my hair and that I was no longer welcome in her shop. This is just FYI .

Danielle Evans Amazing job! I came in at 10:15 Friday morning (no appointment) and they immediately started. Finished by 12:15, which is unheard of for my hair (very long, thick and curly). I got a deep conditioner, blowout and flat iron. They were all nice, and I LOVE my hair. My hair is really long so the price was $70 but it was worth every penny. In LA, it costs $140 to do the same thing but it didn’t come out as good. My hair is soft, silky, and smells so good! Plus my scalp is clean and fresh. I absolutely recommend this shop. I will definitely be back!!

Brenda R. They have renovated. I believe the place looks outstanding, and the ambiance makes you forget you are in East New York. If you go early on the weekend you can get seen. The place fills up quickly. I went on a Thursday to avoid the crowd. Juana did a fabulous job on my cut. The prices are pretty fair considering the amount of damage I had from the hair dying and using a flat iron.

She’s such a sweetheart. And the prices are good‼️ more of a plus side she does Fantastic work and can do any hair service you need. From Sasha ne set, silk press, to weave installation with hair She supplies at a reasonable price that 100% Human ‼️I definitely will be going back‼️

Ladii E I’ve been coming to this salon for about 20 years. I used to come here frequently when my hair was permed but I went back natural. I still come sometimes when I want to wear my hair straight and Maria gets me all the way together. They accept walk ins and there may be a bit of a wait even on weekdays. Jenny detangled my hair well and gave me such a good wash that I started dozing off. Maria blew my hair out, flat ironed it and trimmed my ends. Maria has been my go to for years. I prefer someone who takes their time to detangle my curls and knots the right way because I’ve experienced “hair dressers” who can’t. It’s good to see them still in business after all these years and good to see familiar faces still working here. A simple wash and blow out (no roller set needed) a little heat from the flat ironed and I’m good to go. This style, including a treatment cost me $55 so I’d say their price is decent in this current economy.

La Z I found this place on Google and due to last minute issues on my part ,I took a chance and did a walk in(I normally dont do this due out of fear of having a stranger with bad vibes touch my hair). From the moment I walked in I felt such a calm essence and requested a hair cut. Raquel did my wash and hair cut. She was so nurturing, non judgemental and educated me on my hair frizines. Im happy I found this place and will come back again

Nette A Came in for a dye + trim & left with an uneven haircut. I’m pretty heartbroken because I had no idea she would be cutting so much off & now my hair is uneven & significantly shorter in the back. The girl was really sweet & attentive, but the salon started to get busy towards the end of my appointment & she was having trouble with the cutting chair so I think she was maybe a bit rushed. She also told me doesn’t do curly cuts typically (which I didn’t think it’d be a problem since I just wanted my ends dusted), but I just wish she would have told me she wasn’t comfortable trimming my hair or just consulted with me before cutting it the way she did so I could have avoided this.

Lovely Amo I booked Senique for a wig install and I gotta say I’m sold ! she will be my forever hairstylist she exceeded my expectations her Salon was very clean and inviting, senique went above and beyond ,she makes sure you leave her chair happy. Senique made my wig install feel like hair from my scalp! The hair glue is amazing, super strong yet gentle on the skin, provides long-lasting hold without irritation which is a plus for me cause I sweat a lot in my head . I highly recommend Senique for anyone seeking a talented and professional hairstylist. She is the best!!!!!

Amanda R I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. I went to Lopez beauty salon in April 2024 for a color on the front half of my head and a blow out on my natural hair. My hair is bra strap length. Ana completed the color and blow dry. After washing my hair chunks of hair comes out everytime. My natural hair is now stringy and I’ve collected a zip lock bag full of hair that has shed from my recent wash today. I have NOT straightened my hair since April because of the severe damage this salon has caused me. I will now have to cut my hair off and start fresh for naturally healthy hair again. I’ve very sadden by this experience and I believe a texturizer was put into my hair without my knowledge.

Seychelles Jalloh Sadly this will be my last visit. The salon is clean and organized but the attitude of the stylists is beyond me. I informed Ana that I wanted a wash and set, the lady proceeds to want to blow my hair and when i asked if she understood in Spanish she said yes. Another lady jumps in the conversation and Im telling her what I want but she insisted on over talking me and instructs the lady wrong. Im telling the lady who insisted on helping that the products she is instructing the lady to use is not what I want in my hair. So now both ladies have an attitude because I wont let them do what they want to my hair?!?! Make this make sense. Ana seems more concerned about being on her phone than actually doing hair. After she is done rolling my hair, i ask if she can cover my ears, she catches another attitude and tells me i dont need it because of the dryer Im sitting under! Now the dryer is on last two minutes and she is pulling rollers out and i had to tell her my hair is still damp, she tells me i cut the dryer off and i informed her it was the last two minutes and getting cold, again more concerned about getting back to her phone. She was very disconnected and I had to request twice to go under another dryer. The owner needs to train her staff on how to communicate with people and learn to listen to what the clients want! I appreciate a stylist expertise, but laziness has no place for a true beautician. I will go back to traveling out to ENY - where they actually listen to what the customer wants. When the owner is in the building, everyone is on their best behavior but when she is not present these ladies body language and attitude is enough to make you walk out and not look back. Then they sit around and talk about you in spanish, some people do actually understand the language. If the african american community pulled their business - Lopez would be out of business! As you can see she didnt even realize that I snapped the picture

Candy See I’ve been coming to Lopez Beauty Salon for a wash and set for quite sometime now. Today I came in to inquire how to color my hair red with out using bleach but I was informed that using the bleach would be necessary because my hair is the color black when the dye goes on my hair the red color won’t be so bright. My hair was done by manager Roma she gave me the color book so I could choose the red color I wanted did a bleach test on my hair first to see if my hair can handle the bleach it was fine. After that she started the process she bleached my hair washed the bleach out and dyed hair red. I was put under the dryer for a deep conditioning and rinse out once that was done. I went to Janet she blowed dried and styled my hair. Special Thank you to Roma and Lopez team for there patience with me I was so nervous I didn’t think my hair was going to come out so great! Roma is amazing and knowledgeable she gets the job done you won’t be disappointed leaving her salon . I am truly satisfied with the results of my hair.

Miya Bri do not come here at all ! very shady people some blonde spanish lady gave me JUST A BLOWOUT and hair wrap then charged me 70 DOLLARS FOR JUST THAT and walked off with attitude. they’re not worth the money and will definitely not be returning here. will just be sticking to the old spot i was going to next to 7 eleven. they don’t charge that and the service is way better .

Ayanna Ellison I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the reviews and gave this salon a chance. 10/10 wash and blowout for a great price. My mom and I were both in and out in about 2 hours, which is good considering they were a bit busy. Definitely recommend coming here, lovely ladies!

Maria Cabrera It was crowded, but they managed to take me as a walk-in. If your hair is hard to manage, you can walk in and tell them what you want done. They got you! I recommend this place.

Shelia Roseboro THEY ARE HORRIBLE NOW!!!! I used to go here all of the time when I was younger but stopped going when I moved to Queens. I went back for the first time in years since I work in Brooklyn now and had my 5 year old daughter with me. They never said anything to me about her being with me. She was on her best behavior she wasn’t getting into anything or acting up. Fast forward two weeks later I come back to get my hair washed and was told they wouldn’t do my hair because my daughter was with me!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! If it was really that much of a big deal why wasn’t I told this the first time I came and had her with me. Unfortunately everyone is not privileged to coparent with their child’s other parent I’m a single parent and the only time I can get my hair done is after work before heading home. I wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL especially if you have kids.

Patrice Thornhill This is the only one of the ONLY shops I visit when I come to NY! I was set to get my hair done the day after THANKSGIVING only to find out they were closed- I was disappointed because I went back home without getting it done. I love them!!!

After we entering we found out the prices to do our hair, my sister hair is above shoulder and my own is midway down my back curly, they looked at our hair even touched it before we begin, they told my sister 45 for her own(to wash, blow dry and trim) and 50 for my hair seeing its longer(wash, blow dry, trim and style). Upon completion of our hair we were told that my hair was longer than they thought so it will be 70 instead of 50 and my sister own who is shoulder length will be 60. That very poor way of doing business. But nevertheless we paid it but will never be going back. Thats the first and last time ever going there. Do not recommend.

Abril Baez I went here late January and never again. Had a wash and blow and my hair smelled for days. I don’t know what that lady used to make my hair smell so bad even after washing it myself. Plus the lady with the red hair is viral on those TikTok videos of women sleeping with married man. I recognized her because she was there and theres one picture with the girl with the black hair that did my hair. No good.

Farangis Bayzaeva Ive been using Minisas services for about 3 years and Im satisfied of her work everytime I go to her. Shes very accurate and patient to her clients, shes always polite and does her job professionally. Its really hard here to find the right master that will satisfy all your needs and Munisa is one of them. Her manicure lasts forever, if nails didnt grew so fast, I could go with it for 2 months. I really recommend her for manicure and pedicure. If youre looking for a real master of russian manicure, then youd go to her.

Cleopatra Noel $50 for wash & set with a little trim. Prices are hair texture/density based. They did a really good blow out (finished with a flat iron because it’s summertime hot), and they were very gentle with my hair. I have a tender scalp and I didn’t even need to mention it. She took her time shampoo x3 conditioner x1. Over 5 stars, prices are a bit high but I would recommend and revisit.

Sharon Fuller-Ealey Today in se search of a new hair stylist after not going to one for over a year and a half; I’ve found this salon on google. They have a high rating and excellent reviews so I have decided to check them out. I’m glad that I did because one the price was reasonable compared to what I’m used to paying. I’ve went for a relaxer and to have my ends trimmed and to treat my hair since it was damaged badly. Even the extra conditioning used was at no extra charge to me. The ladies here are beyond professional and treated my hair with so much care, that when it was done I couldn’t believe how healthy and back to life it looked. I do highly recommend going here because their work speaks for itself.
