Kristina Scott Liz is very quick, skilled, professional and an awesome person to chat with during your appointment. I’ve had a few unfortunate waxing experiences in the area, but coming to her was a great decision. Because of my sensitive skin, I’ve done my fair share of research about waxing and I know the difference of having a really good esthetician. So I would highly recommend Liz!

Jennifer Hellekson I had the most amazing facial and waxing experience with Liz! I received so many compliments on my fresh face and glow after visiting her. I never knew what I was missing out on until I had a facial! Not to mention the most comfortable (as comfortable as one can be) bikini wax! Extremely professional and well done. Abby Logwood Came in for a haircut, provided a detailed video that even described how to cut the hair. Got nothing close to it. If this was beyond the hairdresser’s experience level I wish she would have just told me and I would have booked with someone else at a later time. I’ll provide the inspo video and my hair after the appointment. Probably the worst cut/style I’ve ever gotten.

Loretta Emmons My daughter was in there on Sunday 3/16 around 2:30. She asked one of the workers to help her out with a face product for her pores. The girl said “ well what are you looking for” if she knew what she was looking for she wouldn’t have asked…The girl then says “I guess I can show you a couple of things” My daughter said she had a really bad attitude and the person with her said the same thing. We have never had a problem with any of the Ulta stores usually the associates are extremely helpful. It took a lot for my daughter to even ask for help and to be treated that way is totally unacceptable.

Hilary Moore Haley at the brow bar was absolutely amazing! As a blonde, my eyebrows are barely noticeable. I had been using the brow gel for a few years but when a friend mentioned getting them tinted, I figured it would be worth a try. She not only matched my shade perfectly she also shaped them beautifully. If you need a wax and tint, I highly recommend Haley at the Watertown Ulta. I have eyebrows now!!!

Alexandra Rider When I got my haircut Genna took care of me, she was amazing and gave me a lot of tips for my dry skin and hair breakage. All of the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere is calm and the salon itself is beautiful. I highly recommend !!

Savanna Collins I just had to come on here and say that exhale salon and spa is absolutely amazing! Genna never fails to make me feel so beautiful and I am always so pleased with my results. She was so accommodating and allowed me to hold my baby as I got my cut and unfortunately I didnt catch her name but another sweet lady there even held her for me. I had the worst experience with lash extensions years ago and never wanted to try again but was recommended to Marcy’s. Best decision! Stephanie Bartosek I have been going to Amber for about a year now for my lashes. Not only is she kind, knowledgeable and on point, she really works with your schedule too accommodate you, which is so important for many of us. I highly recommend Amber. Just look at everything she does, aside from lashes! She’s very gentle and listens to what you want and is willing to give you advice if you’re unsure what would be the best with the shape and or size of your eyes. I absolutely adore her!!!! You will too!!

Maria Castaneda Amber is extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. I had never had lash extensions done before and she explained everything clearly and patiently. I strongly recommend her for your lash extension needs. She does an amazing job and I always get compliments on how great my lashes look!

Raenelle Durham Rachel was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable while I was in her office getting her services. I will definitely be back to work with her in the future!

Mackenzie Billmire Rachel was SO professional, I had never had a Brazilian done before and she made it not awkward and super comfortable. We were talking and laughing the whole time, made the process way easier and I would highly recommend her!

Stephanie Cowles Ive brow hopped all over from Antwerp to Watertown and Rachel is, by far, the best person for eyebrows that I have found. She actually listens to what you want. She also took her time and didnt make me feel rushed. I havent been this happy with my brows in a long time. Everything about this place is so relaxing and inviting. Definitely worth checking out!

Marlene Otero Shouldn’t deserve a star, went to get a haircut and color, took them 6 hours to get it done, my hairdresser didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, had to constantly be asking the other workers there, and in the haircut process another had to step in. I had asked for short layers. I was so ready to leave didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home. They literally chopped my hair.

Reclosado Arya I was really nervous going to this salon solely from the reviews, but honestly I think I had one of the best times I think I’ve ever had here. I had Emily I believe, she was very personable and professional! She made the whole experience very fun and was very easy to talk to and work with, she gave me exactly what I wanted and then some, her fade work is great, she works great with wavy hair especially for all my people with thick and layered hair. If you go here, ask for her cause she was literally amazing

Missy K Terrible terrible service, it’s bad enough I haven’t had my hair cut in years due to having anxiety about it being cut. I went in and asked if they could do me as a walk in or do I need an appointment, the girl said well I guess we can take you now. Mind you this was 3:30 pm they were doing nothing but chit chatting & giggling. I already felt uncomfortable as if I’m intruding in on their party. I sit down the lady said what are we doing. I explained that I wanted a messy bob with layers and showed her how short with my fingers. She said ok. She cuts it straight and way too long, I tell her again I want it shorter, show her again where I wanted it, again she doesn’t cut it to the length I asked for originally, I tell her politely to cut it shorter and apologize, not sure why I’m the one apologizing. So she doesn’t cut a huff and starts cutting, then said well it’s going to be a lot shorter in the back now, it wouldn’t have been had you listened to me in the first place. When was thinning and doing layers she was getting my hair caught in the scissors and would literally yank the hair out of scalp at one point I jumped and said ow. She did nothing just kept right on going. Wasn’t offered to have my hair washed, dried nothing. I got home and my husband said your hair is cut uneven and there are random long pieces hanging out. I had to pay someone from facebook marketplace to fix this mess! To top it all off some worker sat in the chair behind me just staring at me. Never again.

Nena My son got THE best haircut since we arrive in 2009 and her prices are very fair. She is quiet and clean and took her time with each of her clients. Love her!

Bbenw I asked for a low fade and provided a picture. I didn’t think I should have to specify any other instructions since it’s a simple haircut. A low fade should end around the temple or right above the eyebrows and they gave me a high fade. I expressed my displeasure when I realized she was doing the fade way higher than I asked for so she lined me up and finished the haircut. I also didn’t appreciate the audacity to charge me full price after jacking up a simple haircut. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to anybody.

Tasneem Md Called to make an appointment but was told its walk ins so come any time they are open (which is great). Staff is friendly and courteous. Shop is clean with plenty of plants and seating, with a big tv on the wall. Staff sweeps the floor and wipes down the seat after each customer. There was another person before us but we did not wait long. Showed them a picture of the haircut we want and some description on certain specific requests, and they delivered! Staff was respectful and kind to my child, which we really appreciate. Service was great, quick, and wasnt too pricey ($12 for a kids haircut). FYI this is a cash only establishment, but there is an ATM inside if you need cash.

Carter Every time I leave Marcy Spa I feel like a brand new women!! Ive had 3 facials so far the last 2 being with Emily and shes amazing at what she does! I had Kaitlyn my first experience and she was just as amazing! Every one that works there is awesome! So kind and not judgemental at all! Such a cozy comfortable place I always feel so welcomed and count down the days until I can go again! They have a customer for life!! Thank you all!!

maddy pulliam I had the most amazing experience with Emily today! I went in for a facial and a lash lift & tint, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. Lin Fields I love this shop! At my age Ive been to a ton of them, and this one is the best!! Anna is very sharp at what she does, and the other gals are super friendly and professional. BUT if you want an A++ stylist, you need Carrie Mitchell! I have multi-colored hair (you know the old adage old lady with purple hair! LOL) and she does a phenomenal job! I highly recommend this wonderful shop. It might not look like a lot from the outside, but inside its a diverse, multi-age, multi-gender shop and you wont be sorry!!

Donna Knowlton I have never written a bad review for anyone. Crystal (Crystals Beauties) charges extremely high prices and has terrible customer service skills. To to have my hair and my grandsons hair colored and *cut cost $385 including the tip. She called it "all over highlights". Basically she colored my hair with highlights, $185!. Not what I asked for and charged $35 more to trim my hair, Maybe 2", that she called a *cut. She cut and colored a child and charged $100 for color and a $15 cut. I never should have given her the tip, but when she handed me the tablet, its right there in giant font and hard to decline when shes standing there watching you. Extremely Embarrassing and uncomfortable situation!!.. I called several other salons and they said they would never charge that price for that service And that the cuts should be included with hair treatments as they are most everywhere else. When I called her to discuss the price she got very defensive and then hung up on me! She got upset that I was getting a little heated and swore. She had NO problem dropping the F bomb during personal phone calls while she did our hair! I am sick over all of this. I knew it would cost quite a bit to have our hair done but holy cow! Im sure the other girls do great work, and charge fair prices, unfortunately Ill never go back and neither will my family..or anyone else that doesnt want to be ripped off..

Jordan D Ashley was super kind and friendly and her service was amazing! I got a full foil and my hair looks amazing! Highly highly highly recommend and will be going back!

I felt the need for a change in my stylist and took a chance with Ashley , I really appreciate how much you really see the difference in the before and after of any hair she does. Penny Avenengo You will not be disappointed. Ive been going to Janet for several years and shes awesome. She takes the time to understand exactly what you want done. Also, my daughter was having issues losing some hair and Janet was able to give her a beautiful cut and tips on how to hide her current hair loss. Made her feel beautiful again. ❤

Robin Eyler This was the worst hair experience of my life!! When I left the salon my hair was 3 different colors! Not at all what I asked for. The fact that my stylist didnt even say anything and thought my hair looked good is just beyond me. Thankfully I was able to get into another salon and they were able to save my hair. DO NOT go get your hair colored at this place.

Dana Not only is this salon top quality, they adhere beautifully to the new health and safety guidelines in these strange days we are all experiencing. I saw Kaylee for cut and color, and could not be happier. (I had resorted to trimming my own hair throughout the year of Covid-19, taking a total of 10” off myself, and felt it was time, personally, to safely get it fully done- for my own sanity.) Once I talked to them on the phone and saw their protocol, I will not visit anywhere else- even once the pandemic is over. Kaylee, and all the staff, are professional and highly skilled, as well as conscious of following the new required standards for public spaces. (Masks, social distancing, spraying/cleaning of everything, temperature taking at the door, etc.) I only wish there were more stars to give.

J Lindley I’ve been coming faithfully to this salon for five years. During that time I haven’t booked with anyone else! When the owner moved from Hawaii to New York, I flew across the ocean and drove hours just to get my hair done. Sandra, the owner, cares for her clients and her attention to detail, the clients needs, and above all the health of the hair exceeds all expectations. The staff at IM’SA salon doesn’t just provide a luxury salon, they make you feel like family.

JS W Sandra is a life saver! I had a terribly short and uneven haircut from a different salon, supercuts. When I called her about hair extensions in tears she stayed late after hours to have a consultation with me to see what could be done to fix my hair. She got me in the next day and gave me hair extensions. They are beautiful. You cant even tell. They blend in with my real hair. I can put my hair in a ponytail and behind my ears and you cant see where any of the extensions are attached. I walked in with sad tears and left with happy tears. Sandra is a true artist that is very kind and compassionate. I cant thank you enough Sandra.

Najah Walker This lady is amazing she pulled through for me with my alopecia she made me feel very different compared to any other woman not only that she have license. And I see so much improvement I did not have no hair when I came to her and I feel so thankful that I met her Sandra♥️❤️❤️

Emma Sheley Kate at the Strand Salon did absolutely amazing on my hair and giving me a professional experience! From the moment i walking in the door of the salon, i was greeted and felt comfortable. Kate went through my hair with my and talked about what she would do so i had a total understanding and she did phenomenal! My hair looks so amazing and feels good, which is even better! I can not wait to continue to get my hair done by her!!

Makayla Pierce Kate has been doing my hair since she was in cosmetology school. She has never failed to give me exactly what I wanted even if it’s absolutely crazy like the picture. . She has worked really hard for her certifications and practices to make sure all of her customers are satisfied and get what they want. She is an amazing people person and I love going to her chair for her to do my hair. She is very open and understanding and all she needs is a little communication of what you want and you got it!

Guadalupe Gonzalez I went in for a full head highlight and I was given more of a partial highlight but still charged fullhead highlight paid over 200 and my hair was a mess not even or blended at all. My stylist was kate. I hope next time somone can guide her through her work.
