Natasha U Gabbie did an awesome job on my color and cut. I went in vaguely knowing what I wanted and she talked through ideas with me and then confirmed things along the way. I’m going gray and am tired of the very regular maintenance of hiding the line that is created from coloring it my old normal hair color. I was also really nervous embracing the grey though. Gabbie walked me through how to transition and did an awesome job. My hair looks natural and there’s no harsh line. My cut is perfect too! I wish I lived in the area because I would definitely go back to her. I actually felt like a team with Gabbie. She didn’t just listen and think she understood she made sure she did. Thanks so much Gabbie!!!

Shaun Middlemiss I can only review Cassandra, about 5 yrs ago me and my wife were driving and seen hint of Paris salon so I chose to stop and see what they were about, I was greeted my casandra as she was the only one there cause it was almost closing time, I asked her what she would do to make my wife look wonderful and she suggested a bob cut with highlights. I asked if she could do it then and she said she would stay late for us, needless to say it was the best decision I ever made....besides mustering up the braveness to ask my wife out many yrs ago. My wife has gone to Cassandra and only casandra sense then, I highly recommend her! Cassie if you read this, thank you for your knowledge and skill in making my wife wanted by all the boys lol. Tammy Boat did an absolute amazing anc set for me. I Love it. Not thick and bulky. She so sweet, and so is everyone else in there. Definitely recommend nail 7. The owner is friendly and very welcoming.

Maiya Leishman Love this place they do such a good job probably one of the best sets I’ve gotten. It’s also very clean and nice and the staff is very friendly and they have a dog which is a plus

mitch neary Appointment booked with girlfriend for pedicures . After sitting for 30 minutes with my feet in cold water I decided against getting my feet done . Very unpleasant. Also ventilation system is fake and doesn’t meet nys requirments . Will not be coming back . Floors are nasty looks like cleaning is done minimal.

Carolanne Peters Overall a pretty good experience. The nails are a little funky shaped and lumpy and would have been better if they took a bit more time shaping. The cuticles were not pushed back at all. The paraffin wrap for the hands was lovely as was the shoulder and hand massage. The atmosphere was nice and overall pretty clean. I loved the music. As far as small businesses go, this was a nice experience. However if youre looking for perfection and high-end results I wouldnt go here.

Teah Izzard I love Ellis Nails! I’ve been twice now and I’ve loved the result each time! The ladies are super thorough and they checked with me each stage to make sure I liked what they were doing! Amazing service, wonderful environment. The music is great and I’m always so comfortable when I go in. Highly recommend this place.

Rob S “Hunnii Bunnii” I absolutely love coming to NC Nail Supply! I needed to find a new nail supply since I am new to area. Kiki and Ken were able to get me everything I needed. They are both very well informed and experienced in nail technology. Kiki was able to suggest the best professional tools for me. As an experienced nail technician it’s important for me to have the best tools and they were able to supply them. I needed a large supply of disposables and they were able to have it ready for me for a great price. They both are very good people and very kind. They are currently redoing the store and bringing in some great nail art supplies. I was able to get some items I usually only find online. So happy I found this supply! Talk to them! You will learn a lot! Kiki put me on to some great products that are better than mainstream brands. See you guys again! -Summer

I came yesterday with my girlfriend and they were closed, and came back the next day and they explained to us that they also own a busy nail salon which is the reason why they arent always open. If you do nails youll love this store. They have everything a nail tech needs!

Rhonda Farley I called Jacks and asked if he had any openings right away. It was already 5:15pm and I was leaving for a vacation the following morning. I told Jacks that I needed him to fix a bad job done at Happy Nails in Guilderland the day before. He told me to come right over. He removed the bad job that was on my hands and replaced them with long gorgeous thin nails. I will return. They were very professional and friendly. Thank you Jack for all you did.

Margot Plumadore Honestly very nice people and very attentive and personalized treatment. We needed a last minute pedicures before a wedding trip for my mother in law and I. They graciously took us even though I knew it would take beyond closing time to finish us. Beautiful result on some feet that were pretty rough to start. They did not rush us or anything. I will definitely return.

Mo. LISTENNN! I am a certified nail biter and my nails are really short, but it seems like these technicians know exactly what to do. My nails have lasted over 2 to 3 weeks without falling off or breaking. I’ve been getting my nails done for years, but they always pop off within the first two weeks. This is a spot, especially if you have short nails. They really know what they are doing. Not to mention great customer service, they are so gentle with their hands and so kind. Great work they have earned my loyalty.

Before coming to this place I’ve tried different nail places and it didn’t fit my expectations and were very expensive. Here at nail city is very affordable and they put so much care and effort into their work. I would definitely recommend coming to this place if you want your nails to last long ! :)

Yvonne DeCocco I went in and asked for a refill. I let them know that my regular nail was pulled away from the old fill. She did nothing about it. She just continue to do the fill barely clean the back. I told her I had paint under them because I didn’t wear gloves when I was doing crafts never cleaned it out nails are too thick. The ring finger on one hand is wavy. The pointer finger on the other hand is wavy and they’re all too thick horrible horrible job. I will never go back $60. If I didn’t have to get back to work I would’ve fought her on. It demanded a reach very disappointed.

Kathryn Murphy Paid $288 for a mid week (discounted) 100 minute signature massage. I’m a nurse and skipped out 20 minutes early to make it in time to be 30 minutes early like they requested. First and foremost, I was taken in at 4pm (my start time) but was back in the locker room before 5:40. The message was extremely basic - bare bones basic… I was genuinely waiting for it to be over. My first alarm was when I got undressed and got under the covers and it was freezing… no heating pad or heating blanket… I’ve never experienced that before. My toes and fingers were very cold the entire time under the covers throughout the massage… it was really distracting. Overall it gave the energy of wanting to complete a project but only to pass. Very disappointed. Also, my receipt for my deposit stated that gratuity is included in the fees but at checkout I was asked if I wanted to tip 20%… I agreed because everyone deserves to be paid fairly but I think I tipped 20% on top of the “hidden” 20% gratuity. I had such high hopes especially because I live right around the corner. The only good part of my experience was the 20 minutes in the quiet room reading my book prior to my overpriced massage. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend… unless you’re coming for the sauna/quiet room.

Natasja Lavin Had an amazing time here, so glad I booked! There of course were some negative reviews I saw before booking but as someone who works in the service industry, that doesn’t discourage me on its own, just spent a little extra time researching and so happy I came. I came on a Monday, which meant there were fewer guests, which I preferred. Service prices were also discounted being a weekday. The whole place smells lovely, like eucalyptus and is very relaxing. Checked in at the front desk and an attendant brought me a robe and slippers and gave me a tour of the facilities. The amenities were very nice, I enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and showers during my visit. My massage was great - only negative was it started about 10 minutes late but in reality I didn’t mind as I wasn’t in a rush and came by myself - I just spent more time in the relaxation room. Everything was clean and all the employees were very nice. Everything was well stocked. Can’t wait to come back, going to treat my Mom to a spa day.

Brett A. Scudder Had an incredible "Mens Essential Massage" at Spa Mirbeau for my birthday and couldnt be happier with how I felt after. Ive always wanted to go, but busy schedule and life happens, but today, I went, and it was amazing. You wouldnt believe how huge it is inside with so many amenities to enjoy. My masseuse was awesome and worked on the areas I was most aching. Highly recommended as a great place for self-care. They have a well stocked bistro, hot tub, lounge, saunas, steam rooms, and so many more feel great things to just spend hours relaxing and enjoying. For privacy reasons I couldnt take many pics but trust me and go experience the place.I will be back, for sure.

Maddie Mehl They were super friendly and affordable but did not do a great job with my gel acrylic fill. It was bumpy and the coat was uneven. He also didn’t take care of the underside of my nails. I wouldn’t go here for anything other then a simple paint job.

Mary Herring Absolutely the BEST nail salon I have been to in upstate NY. Their prices are great, and my nail tech did an amazing job. He didnt hurt me like some of the others when he was doing my nails, and they turned out beautiful! I will definitely be going back there!

Richard R I don’t get any very complicated service just a manicure periodically. I have been very happy here. I find that the staff is somewhat inconsistent in how thorough a job they do with cuticles, etc. but overall I have never had a bad manicure. My favorite is Jeff, but Ruby does a good job as well. They are nice people to deal with. $15 for a manicure plus a tip is very reasonable.

Laura Bopp My experience with this nail salon was horrible . My daughter brought a pic of what she wanted and didn’t get anything close to the pic . The woman I spoke to kept saying they would remove what was done and start over but my daughter had to leave since she was flying back home to SC. I asked for a refund and was told “NO REFUND!” This is no way to treat an unhappy customer . I own a salon myself and would NEVER handle this situation the way they did !! They lost my family members business that just moved there. Hope it was worth the $65 they charged me !!!!

Sarah Stapleton Thrilled. One of the best acrylic sets I’ve gotten if not THE best. Called a few minutes ahead as a walk in and was incredibly lucky to have Henry do my set! Showed him the last photo and they came out nearly IDENTICAL. Stunning work and craftsmanship — can’t wait to go back and glad I found the best nail salon in the area! Took under an hour for context also!

Marissa Jordan Henry is the best!! He is so so nice and detailed, and you can show him any Pinterest nail art and he’ll recreate it! This is the only place around that consistently kills the game! My nails were done for an hour and I already received several compliments. Gorgeous and doesn’t chip for weeks- thank you Henry and Palazzo Nails!!

Victoria Valente Won’t be going back. Picture is from less than one day after appointment. Tried this place on a whim and was very disappointed. Wanted just a basic gel manicure. Got there for my appointment and had to wait which was fine, they were busy. Thought this was a good sign. The lady called me over and kept trying to upsell me on acrylics I didn’t want. Finally relented. They didn’t do any soaking of nails, no trimming or cuticle stuff just right into my color. She did a horrible job, spots missing any color and build up makes it look like I have fake nails on. I should have said something at the time but was already late and needed to get out of there. Plus, it seemed like they just wanted to get as many people in and out as possible, each technician working on multiple people at a time. Will not go back and will not recommend. Will be a “don’t go there” recommendation from me.

Shanza Masih Went for the first time today and let me just say… I am BEYOND pleased with the way my nails turned out!!! I got a French ANC and Alice was absolutely wonderful. She took her time with my nails and made sure the shape and style was exactly what I wanted. She was extremely diligent. My mom got a regular Mani Pedi and Tina was also amazing! Overall great service and very clean facility. The staff was super friendly and kind. Definitely my new go to!

Lakeia Madison This was my third time visiting this nail salon, and unfortunately, it will be my last. My concerns about cleanliness have only grown, and I’m convinced the tools are not properly sanitized. During this visit, I witnessed a customer get cut, and the entire salon froze when she screamed. Instead of addressing the situation, the staff began speaking in their native language, leaving the customer visibly frustrated. She mentioned she was stressed from the experience and should have waited for her regular nail tech. In my opinion, management should have stepped in, either to handle the situation professionally or ensure the customer received the care she needed. The lack of response was disturbing, and I don’t feel comfortable returning to an establishment where hygiene and customer care are clearly not priorities. Old review: The gel nail coloring and quality of the service were worth the price, which was pretty cheap. Thats a plus. They didnt have a line when I was there, but people were consistently walking in. The reason I give the place a 3 is because its dirty. I made the technician clean her tools before using them on me as it was evident they werent cleaning tools, floors, tables, or pedicure bowl. I wouldnt come back unless I brought my own tools. I dont believe Id get a pedicure for this reason as well.

This was my first time getting my nails professionally done, so I was nervous going in not knowing what to expect. Ness, the nail tech, was welcoming, sweet, and very easy to talk to. Lelia Walcott The owner expressed to me “I don’t need your money I have plenty of clients” in response to her CHEMICALLY IRRITATING MY SCALP! By using products she did not use in our normal routine to get my hair done faster. For context the 2nd to last time I was in the salon was from 11am-9pm because the owner was busy with other clients though I had an appointment for my regular color fill. I was patient and worked with her at the time. This last time I went I assumed she wanted to speed the process up. This last time - February 20th, 2025 she used way more product and left it in my hair for longer as well as dying my eyebrows. I current have way lighter eyebrows with barely any hair at the end as she left it on my brows for 30 mins plus as oppose to 8-10 mins and then SHE BLAMED ME the paying client for not telling her the professional…. Making it seem like this was all my fault. She used multiple red lamps that produced heat after the products to dye my hair was in my head (which was also different than last time) which I believe contributed to its irritation! A few days went by and yesterday February 25, 2025 I requested her in person to give me my money back as my hair was 2 different colors because my roots lifted way too high, I did not get what I asked for, she chemically irritated my scalp and I still cannot brush my hair because my head is so tight and dry. Durning the process she saw my head was raw and red and did nothing but continued to pull and rub the product in. She told me that day I was paying for the “service” of what she did. Because it was neglectful, painful, and not what I asked for I believed I had every right to request my money back. Mainly I do not take disrespect lightly and her comments of dodging blame I was very sick of. She did give me back my money (which she should not have charged me for then) but she was unapologetic, rude, and told me again it was my fault for only coming to her salon when I need to fill in my roots as if that had anything to do with my scalp being hurt by her. I went to the doctor and my scalp is going to take a while to heal because of this incident. It’s okay to mess up but to not take responsibility and mistreat a client is disgusting. My head was burning as she kept rubbing this in and I wasn’t even offered a tissue or “I’m sorry”. I have done this process with her multiple times and never thought she would respond so poorly. Turns out one of her workers expressed to me the 2nd to last time I was there the owner was upset about me for a week because my fill was more than 2 inches. I don’t care if Ithe root fill was down to my neck regardless I’m paying you for a service and I’ve been nothing but kind. Even tipping her for staying past her hours which AGAIN NOT MY FAULT….When things aren’t done right you need to be called out on it. This was not my fault and I am very disappointed with her failure to be a decent human being to a “client” she “cares about”. Same way you don’t need my money I don’t need your business. ✋ Attached is a picture of what my hair looked like when my scalped “calmed down” and this was hours after I left her salon so you can only image how bad it truly was. She never asked that day I asked for my money back “how are you doing?” Or followed up like a decent human would after such a traumatic experience …which speaks to her true character. Never again.

brenda santana I get my hair straighten 1-2 times a year and every time I go to Jacquelines she does a fantastic job and since I’m a natural hair girlie I love that my curls are always there after I wash my hair! 10/10 experience they are very sweet and outgoing.

Tee JustTee If I could give 0 star, I would. I went to this shop in October 2023 for a black dye and a trim on my natural curly kinky hair. I left with a dye, trim, and stinky overprocessed hair. Three weeks later, I called Jackie up and informed her that my hair was not reverting back to its natural state, and I believed she gave me heat damaged. She insisted that it wasnt. She stated that my hair texture would not revert. I told her thats the definition of heat damaged. Now its 2months later, and I went to get a consult elsewhere, and found out that she put a chemical in my hair(that is why it still stinks) and she did not do the second step, which is why my hair breaks right off by just touching it. To make matters worse, she refused to admit that she damaged my hair. If you have 4C type hair, here is your warning, do not go to this salon if you want to keep your hair on your head. Learn from my unfortunate situation. Update: It is now May 2024. All my hair fell out, so I cut it all off. Thank you, Jackie, for showing me what greedy looks like. Count your blessing because I can still sue you for all the damage youve done. Youre evil and greedy, and God doesnt like ugly.
