DJ P: Retained Joe OHaver as my financial advisor when he worked at IBN financial to help me plan and manage my 401/IRA as I was planning to retire. I wanted to generate a steady income stream from my investments. He recommended that to achieve a stable and secure income stream that I heavily invest in REITs. After multiple discussions he assured me that this investment would meet my objectives and that they were stable and low risk and I would be able to get my cash back within 5-10 yrsrs. End result after 10 years is I now have multiple large REIT investments that are not paying any dividends and have cancelled their buyback. They ended being useless money loosing investments with no way to get my funds back without substantial losses. His recommendation was based on his or IBNs commission and not what was best for me. Avoid him and IBN financial at all cost if you want to protect your money.

I was young, I had ok Financials and pretty good credit but not the best. They treated me with respect and were very transparent. We were able to make a plan with the money I had, and I got the house. I still live in that house, and I wont soon forget how gracious community bank was throughout the buying process.

Cheryl Grimins: This statement is only regarding the person they have managing IRAs. The person who manages these accounts refuses to return phone calls and emails. Most of the time his voicemail is full and you cant leave a message. Which then leaves the bank tellers/manager who want to give good customer service to chase him around like an irresponsible child and hound him repeatedly. Its been 6 weeks and nothing from him. I would not recommend this bank for investment services at all.
