3 /5 Daniii: Overall I get a good workout. Im excited they are getting new machines at the moment. I hope they get the machines that auto count reps like in the Boerum location. I see staff cleaning when Im there and thats a priority for me. The womens locker area needs some maintenance. I noticed peeling wallpaper and corner guards are broken, but my biggest complaint, the lighting everywhere, including in the locker room. Why so dim?!?! I signed up at the Boerum, Im 100% comparing locations.

5 /5 Chandra: I really like this gym, very impressed, only thing I would suggest is to add two more smith machines. Much smaller planet fitness locations tend to have 4 of them. This place only has 2, I can guarantee if you add 2 more, they will be used at all times. They are great for squatting and benching which are very staple workouts. Hope we can get 2 more Smith Machines! Aside from that, this gym is amazing!

5 /5 Gia Wiggins: Love this location. It’s an older location and building but the staff is very friendly and are helpful. I’ve gone to newer and cleaner locations that were spotless but still craved to go back to this location. New equipment just got installed.

1 /5 Denis: I’ve been a member of this gym for several years. Over time, I’ve noticed occasional issues in the locker room area and have reported my concerns to the front desk each time. Yesterday, I securely locked my belongings before working out for about an hour. When I returned, my locker was open and my wallet, including my IDs, was missing. I immediately notified the front desk and was informed that similar incidents have occurred before. I also filed a police report. It’s disappointing to hear that this seems to be a recurring problem, and I wish more had been done to prevent it. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I’ve decided to cancel my membership and can’t recommend this location to others until the situation is resolved. Ive been back 3 days in a row to speak with the manager but was told that the manager had left earlier.

4 /5 Jenna Young: I’m not sure why there’s such bad reviews, but I’m pretty impressed by this planet fitness. It’s clean and pretty spacious for being in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen. Even on a Saturday afternoon around 130pm it wasn’t packed and I was able to get on most of the machines I planned to use. The staff is also always friendly. The only negative thing i can say is that it’s hot in the gym. There’s only a few fans around so more fans are definitely needed especially on the hot days when the sun is blaring through the windows in the gym. Also, why is the fountain water warm ??? Other than that, I’ve been there twice and I’m liking it so far!
