5 /5 Jenny Chan: Gorgeous selection of sweaters and other goods for loved one of all ages. Shop owner was very friendly and helpful. Got caught off guard by a chilly day and needed a sweater. The sweaters are great quality, and Ive already gotten multiple compliments on it.

5 /5 Serena Beana: I stopped into the store for their 25 year anniversary yesterday. And it was a cloudy, rainy, beautiful Ireland type of day! I’ve been to the shop a few times over the years, mostly for rare Celtic novelty items for gifts. The store carries the types of items you’d usually have to travel to Ireland for! It’s not a chain store, it’s locally owned with a friendly and attentive owner. Wool sweaters, iconic Irish caps, pictures, candles, knickknacks, greeting cards, framed Irish blessings, fine jewelry, crystal and even some imported food and candy. I really didn’t have anyone or anything specific to shop for yesterday, but very much enjoyed looking throughout the store. I ended up falling in love with a small beautiful Shannonbridge Shamrock vase (for myself, lol) & some very nice Irish Blessing greeting cards to send to friends (definitely better than a Hallmark selection). Also fell in love with (pictured below) the traditional Irish wedding gift: ‘Make Up Bell’ in beautiful crystal - I don’t have any upcoming weddings, but when I do I know what I’ll be getting & where to get it from: The Counties of Ireland, Troy, NY.

5 /5 Michael Frank: Great little store with lots of Irish imports also prices are reasonable. They have two days a year when they have big sales. There are lots of clothes hats jewelries Crystal and home decorations also a small amount of imported foods from Ireland. A must stop for everything Irish. Lastly its a great historic shop with some of the paraphernalia from when it was a shoe store.

Andrea Rudolph: My boyfriend gifted me a beautiful ruby and emerald ring that had a setting where the ruby sat a little bit more proud of the rest of the ring and we brought the ring in to see if it was possible to bend that setting down some so it would not catch on things. We had a long conversation with him about it to clearly state what would be done, if its safe to do or possible, etc. After walking into the store and seeing the broken glass displays, the disorganization and just dirt and dust everywhere, I felt bad vibes and we decided to not go through with him doing anything to the ring. We went back today to pick it up and now it has a crease in the 14k gold where one of the settings was bent out and up. He says maybe this happened in the transport and that “he doesn’t see what I’m saying” as he is virtually bending the setting back with his finger in front of us. Now we need to take it to another jeweler to not only fix the actual issue we had, but to fix the damage done to my ring. I should have trusted my gut after walking into the extremely messy store but thought my ring would be safe just in the hands of him but now I have received it back damaged. I am very upset by my experience here and do not recommend custom jewelry work to be done.
