Boss Williams My visit was well every time I go to see my Doctor shes 100 its not enough that I can say about Dr McClean, she knows her job to the epitome of her essence and its kind of funny because she takes care of all her patients in the same manner its no different she reminds me so much of Dr Blair when he was very sensitive about what was wrong with his patients I miss him so much but Im happy yall put somebody in his place thats almost just like him.

Paula LaBruna My dad was born at Good Sam in 1939. This was his main go to place over the years. He had a couple trips to the ER and recent hospitalization in Feb. Always, a positive trip to the ER and always got placed in a room, not hallway . When he was admitted on 3rd floor, staff very friendly, helpful, and rooms clean. This whole team includes the nursing, aides, social worker, PT/OT/Speech, hospitalist, housekeeping, front desk, phlebotomy, food services. Also, I would like to thank the Wound Care Center. The whole team treated my dad so well.

Jory F The cardiac Care my husband received was excellent. His discharge from this hospital caused us so much problems. Its not even funny. Lavina the nurse we had at discharge was an awful human being. When being discharged with a lot of medication, its important to understand what they are for and when they should be taken. When I asked her she told me that she already told my husband. Very rude and quite condescending. Calling me hun. No respect at all for him or for me Well guess what? I am his caretaker and I need to know all the information as well. All of his prescriptions, and there are many were called in to a pharmacy we have never used and have no relationship with and have no insurance coverage for pills that cost $800 a piece They knew that he has veterans insurance and it had to be called into the VA and they said they werent able to do that. Lazy. Straight out of the hospital he had to get in the car with his heart condition and go to the VA in Manhattan to get the pills that he needed. Great stress to have after getting out of the hospital.Here we are 2 months later. Still trying to straighten out the mess that she made. I did receive a call from Mary the head of nursing and told her what was going on and she said she would have someone get back to me and I never heard another word. We went back to the hospital for a follow-up with the urologist and he did the same exact thing calling yet another Rx to the same pharmacy. I will also mention that they ignored his diabetic diet, until I started yelling. I had to go to the desk at least three times to remind them. So with that being said, I have to give them two stars only because the cardiology team was so good. I did find one nice woman a nurse who led me to the recovery area that nobody else seemed to know where it was. Believe it or not, he gets better attention at the VA than he did at Good Samaritan hospital

ToolTek MD I just wanted to share our terrible experience at Medifair in Monticello yesterday. We have been trying to get my mom a mobility scooter for several months. We had the Medical Forms faxed over multiple times, only to be told that they were not received, not received in time, or not filled out properly by my mom’s doctor. We spoke with Medifair on the phone on several occasions, and they told us what to do. This resulted in three separate trips back and forth to Westchester Medical to get the same paperwork filled out that they said they never received. We were getting nowhere, so, yesterday we went to drop off the paperwork at Medifair in person. This was at the recommendation of my mom’s doctor. My mother is in a wheelchair, so we used a public transportation ambulette to get there. We dropped the Medical Forms off and thought we were all done. It was supposed to be simple. Then, from out of nowhere, a woman employee comes running out of the back of the showroom, yelling and screaming that she is the one working on my mothers case. She then complains that there is not a proper diagnosis on the paperwork. There was a diagnosis listed, but according to this employee, it was not in "proper medical terms". Mind you, we went to Westchester on Thursday of last week to redo these forms for the third time. She proceeds to tell me that she tried to call the Doctors office on Friday, and that they never called her back. I explained to her that it’s been three months, and that every month they keep making us go back to Westchester to get the same medical forms filled out. My mom’s doctor is busy. We were there again last Thursday, all this could have been avoided. It Is 2 hours to Westchester, and 2 hours from Westchester. Long trips are hard for my mother, because she has knee problems, and it is difficult for her to get in and out of her wheelchair. We use an ambulette to go on these trips because she can’t walk. So, while waiting for the ambulette to come back to pick us up, we tried to get a hold of my mom’s doctor in Westchester. My mother, not really understanding what was going on, asked the Medifair employee for clarification, as she did not understand what the problem was with the medical forms. My mom asked nicely if the employee could explain it to her, so that she knew what to ask her doctor. Out of nowhere, The Medifair employee went off the deep end. She started screaming, and then she threw the medical forms at my mother, and told her that she was taking her application out of the system, and to find a different Vendor. This woman was totally and completely unprofessional. She treated my 73-year-old handicapped mother, who is a transplant recipient, like a piece of garbage. This lady should not be working with the elderly. Her behavior was entirely unprovoked and completely abhorrent. She should be fired. I would not recommend using Medifair for any of your medical needs.

Laura kresel I give a one star solely based upon no Saturday service! There are people who actually need Saturday service because Monday through Friday we work and come home late. In my case I am coming from another state Pennsylvania and it is very convenient for me to drive up on a Saturday and get what I need. I think this is very terrible not having weekend hours however, I do give you all five stars for customer service and great merchandise on hand and reasonable prices.
