Richard Langendoerfer Wow! Dr Schamel is the best. I had to move and came to Watkins Glen. I am very lucky to have found her. Her staff is great also. This doctor is great.

Tammy Clarkson Ive had two recent appointments with Dr. Schamel and have had exceptional service and response to my needs. She took as much time as needed to ensure all my questions and concerns were addressed. No wait time and easy access to my test results and ongoing communication. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Aimee Dars Ellis I was seven minutes late to my appointment with Dr. Yee because the road from my house was down to one lane for tree-trimming and I was unaware of that. I called from the road and the receptionist said to come to the clinic and they would get me checked in. When I arrived, the front desk said I was late and they would have to reschedule me. I had made the appointment a month ago and they would not make any concession or be at all understanding of my situation. This was a first-time patient appointment so I opted to not reschedule and will be going to a different clinic. While I understand that it’s important to be on time due to the cascading impact of late patients, I believe that not allowing any leeway is unnecessarily strict, and they did not at all care that they lost a patient.

John Hayes Doctor Saks takes great care of me. Know and been cared for by others there to my complete satisfaction. Beautiful new offices, too, with great views.

Sandra Babcock It depends on who is the ER doctor!

Nicole Teeter No actual Drs on staff. Only nurse practitioners. Many of the staff are rude. Many of them don’t actually care about you as a patient. Just had the worst experience there. Will never go to this ER again. I will drive the 45 minutes to Corning Guthrie where they give you the care you need. Absolutely horrible the way you’re treated by some of the nurses here. Can’t believe it. Also, won’t give you their names when asked, apparently they “don’t give out names here” asked for their names so I could put in a complaint but was refused. Wouldn’t even let me speak to the girl at check in to find out the number to call.

Paula Blodgett I struggled all my life with demons until I started going to AA meetings and going to therapy here.q my therapist is no longer there. but she was amazing I cant remember her name but I remember her face she was so kind and understanding never tried to shove meds down my throat.and very kind and thoughtful. I didnt realize how much baggage I was carrying until I started recovery this place had a hand in me being sober and I will have 12 years in December I also have overcame a lot that I never thought I could in my life thank you so much my dearest counselor she was amazing. This place has made me realize that I deserve better and I am good enough to have it.

jjwright22 I went here for several years and enjoyed it all! Until the ins cos started dictating how many times we could go and they had to cancel support groups. I had liz for years and she was a huge help to me! So was mark and a few others! Liz taught support groups and was amazing! She was honest and I dont think everyone appreciated that. Cant be coddled and she was truthful and had rules. The people also want to have to be helped also and out in the work too. Ive always been listened to there. Just wish they would let me go back their but finances made me had to leave the county and they wouldnt agree to a waiver. So that was annoying.

nicholas longoni I moved from another state and I was getting pain management services. I had previous pain management doctors and my neuro send sufficient records to show i needed services and they denied me. First off they never call you back. Second, the woman who answers the phone is very rude and treated me like I was doing something wrong when all I wanted was an explanation and to see if I could send in more records and she wouldn’t even listen to me. I’m on ssdi, I have not been able to work in almost 3 years. I’ve tried every other option and failed so I’m on opioid therapy that has made a significant difference in my life, yet somehow I was not worthy of this place nor was I worthy of a call back, an explanation or to be treated with any kind of decency. Doctors are supposed to help people and people should be treated with respect but this place didn’t get the memo. Please do not give this place your business. Go find people with compassion because if they let that woman who answers the phone work there and she treated me like garbage and she didn’t ever bother to call me back, just think what the doctor would be like.
