5 /5 Kimberly Huang: After a long day, we decided to stay in and order way too much food. Things kicked off with the appetizers: beef carpaccio that disappeared in seconds, crispy calamari that didn’t even need sauce, blackened tuna salad that had a nice little zing, and broccoli rabe that made me feel slightly healthy.
Then came the parade of entrées. The linguine with clams and linguine with crabs were both solid choices. The octopus baci was surprisingly tender, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, and the New York strip was cooked just right. And then there was the Angry Lobster. Let’s just say it was angry for a reason—full of sand and not exactly a crowd favorite.
Dessert saved the day. The vanilla crème brûlée had that perfect crack on top and was creamy enough to make you forget all about the lobster drama.
Overall, great meal. Would I order again? Absolutely. But next time, I’m ghosting the lobster.
