Cosmic Charlie Cafe - Geneseo (NY)

5 /5 Matt Parker: A great classic coffee shop with real espresso which can be difficult to come by in the area. The vibe was very jam band and rustic which was a cool contrast to some of the ultra hip clean aesthetic coffee shops Ive been to. The staff were super friendly and their classic espresso drinks as well as flavored options were great. Will have to go back and try the food as it looked fantastic. A little confusing to get to, but parking on the main drag and walking back and around wasnt too bad and the outdoor space was a cool little alcove. Edit: Finally tried the food and it was fantastic. Very rich, but great quality and taste

5 /5 Ron Sivillo: What a fantastic place, I was most impressed with their attention to their customers. In a day and age that you could hardly get a hello from a barista or anyone else who is supposed to walk into a place, this was a welcome change. More importantly, it’s a really cool and chill atmosphere, if it’s nice out, there is some outdoor seating but you’ll probably wanna cozy up inside and enjoy the wonderful offerings. Too bad I wasn’t staying in town longer, super happy I came across Cosmic Charlies.

5 /5 Emma Molodetz: This place was an unexpected gem. It can be hard to find high quality coffee in a college town but this place is it. I tried the homemade vanilla syrup in my latte and the homemade tortillas with some breakfast tacos. Both were incredibly good. Service was quick and accurate to my order. I’ll be stopping here whenever I’m in Geneseo!

5 /5 Kevin L.: Delicious egg, bacon and cheese sandwiches. The bread was very light and not too dense. One was sourdough which was very tasty. The capichino was good but not great. I loved the cup they put it in.

5 /5 Trish Mock: By far my favorite place in Geneseo, Cosmic Charlie is always a lovely experience start to finish. The cafe itself is clean, warm, and inviting, with ample seating, natural light, good music, and good people. Their menu offers the classics like breakfast sandwiches, and they also extend their offerings for special occasions like their thanksgiving-inspired burrito (10/10). The drink menu is inventive and fresh, with an array of coffees, teas, sparkling beverages and herbal tonics. My hope for CC is that they continue to push the envelope on being the best cafe in the valley!
