5 /5 mk Lemon: Overall a great dining experience. Was in the area for a Christmas show at Proctors and was craving Italian dishes. Arrived early before the dinner rush. Food was fresh*, large portions with great price.
We ordered:
• Zuppi di clams - delicious! Saved the red sauce for our garlic bread.
• Calamari - crispy, and not too fishy
• Chicken Parmigiana - large portions full of flavour, crispy, cheesy and saucy!
The Bad*: I have been craving tiramisu so we ordered Tiramisu to go - we didn’t check it until we got home and I noticed a rancid smell. It didn’t look appetizing and looked odd. I doubted it was spoiled because we literally purchased it an hour ago. I had a bite and it was sour! Ugh. I almost got sick.
We called the restaurant just after 9 and told them about it, they offered to refund us for it but we were at our neighbor and didn’t have the card with us. Will follow up when they’re open.
Featured cocktails were good. My bf tried the peppermint mocha tini.
Staff - Gianna (if spelled right) was running the bar, take out and phone orders and a few tables on a Sunday evening. Impressive multi-tasking I must say.
Would try this again if we’re back in the area but a little traumatized with the dessert experience.
