Lakeview Hotel and Restaurant - Mayville (NY)

2 /5 Alicia Laughlin: Went here with my family waited about an hour for our food. Was not busy at all. Our waitress came over twice in the 2 1/2 hours we were there. The food was sub par. Dingy and dirty restrooms. There was a man upstairs on the balcony absolutely drunk out of his mind we heard him fall throughout our meal many times. The waitress did not come by to give us our check we had to hunt them down. Once we got the check they didnt come back for payment. Dont waste your time and money go elsewhere trust me

4 /5 April Ramirez: The Burgers were delicious, the way they toast the bun for that little crisp..the best. The fried mushrooms were delicious also! The girls are really sweet, and we felt welcomed. Across from the waterfront. A little gem.

5 /5 Mark Swanger: Great atmosphere friendly people ,great bartender, food was delicious. Special was flounder stuffed with crab meat. VERY GOOD FOOD .

1 /5 Betty Boop: Had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite sitting at the bar for over an hour, we were repeatedly ignored by both bartenders, especially by the blonde with tattoos. Guests from the Chautauqua Institution were served immediately, while we—local residents—were completely overlooked. The blatant favoritism and poor service were frustrating and unacceptable. We spent the evening being completely ignored while the summer people were waited on hand and foot. Maybe the bartenders thought we were part of the furniture? I expected better treatment from a business that’s part of our own community. The owner is a complete joke. I refuse to give this so called “restaurant” a penny of my money ever again. I’ll go up the road to a different bar that’s so much cleaner. I’m surprised I didn’t catch a disease sitting on the barstools.

1 /5 Jeanie Gustafson: My family and I ate dinner there yesterday for the first time. The food was horrible. Worst meal we have had in a long time. Two of us ordered shrimp. It was tough and flavorless, despite one being Cajun. Two had prime rib, both over cooked and flavorless. One had a roast beef sandwich and roast beef was overcooked. One had the fish fry, that was good but too much breading. When we complained, we were told that they would make the owner aware. No offer to discount the bill or anything. We will never eat there again. Waitress was lovely and service was good
