The Delaware Restaurant & Bar - Albany (NY)

3 /5 Russell Brown: My partner and I previously went to the Delaware and had a great experience. We ordered burgers and salads which were excellent so we went back again to try the other menu offerings. We started with the lobster dumplings and while they werent bad, I would not get again. My parnter ordered a pasta dish that he enjoyed and I ordered the steak Diane medium rare. The steak came in three thin slices that were all cooked well. The centers of each piece solid gray and yet the steaks had no sear at all. I brought it to the attention of the waitress and she immediately agreed that the steak was not cooked as ordered and replaced it. The second steak similarly had no sear and was overcooked. The largest of the slices was a little closer to medium rare so I ate it. For $52, I would strongly recommend against ordering a steak here. The server did graciously comp a round of drinks and the atmosphere in the Delaware is top notch. I would go back but I would stick to the sandwiches, burgers, and salads.

5 /5 Kayla Garry: The Delaware is a fantastic spot in Albany. Ive had countless great meals and experiences here; they take great pride in their service and care for their dinner guests. The ambiance and attention to detail makes a visit feel very upscale and elegant. Pictures attached are from a 6-course wine tasting event - a very fun and educational evening.

5 /5 GrowingPeasAndJustice at Glendara: An absolutely beautiful restaurant. The ambiance is the best around. Jazz music playing. Beautiful decor. And the wait staff were so incredibly kind and helpful. The food was delicious (though we were sad they were out of the salmon). The clam appetizer with gluten free bread was fantastic! Just an all around wonderful night. Our annual anniversary dinner destination and couldnt be happier. Cant wait for next year. (Would go more often if it was a little less expensive. My only critique at all.). Raving about it to friends. A gem in Albany. Make a reservation and get there as soon as you can!

5 /5 Leni Ferner: Amazing dining at The Delaware- upscale, chic and lovely ambiance during the winter season. We tried a great white wine blend and a few appetizers, everything was delicious and worth the price. A few vegan options are sprinkled throughout the menu.
