The Elm - Lowville (NY)

5 /5 T-n-T E&W: One of our favorite places to eat in Lowville. Food is always excellent and they have specials. I particularly like their fish - sandwich or dinner. And if you leave room, the always have fresh pastries.

5 /5 Michael LaPlatney: Lovely experience. Hidden Jem in a town where it is easy to get tired of the same ol stuff. I enjoy a good diner, especially breakfast because I can usually count on the portions being reasonable. (supersized portions or a large complicated menu is usually compensating for something, in my opinion) The bacon was normal thickness, eggs were cooked as I asked for. French Fries were crisp and tasty. Home made english "muffin" bread was delish. Great experience all around. I hope these guys do well. Simple menu, done well. Homemade touch where it counts. Great job!

5 /5 Constance Sizemore: Took Chef Eric suggestion for lunch today, an item not on the printed menu, shaved ribeye steak and cheese sub. Absolutely delicious and a very generous size with a side of macaroni salad that was equally delicious. Alley, our waitress, was engaging, efficient, friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning. If you go, make sure to save room for dessert -recommend the warm lemon bar!
