Nicholas Occhionero Made an appointment for an alignment because the car was pulling one direction. When I dropped car off, I left a note asking them to fix a slow leak in a tire. Woman behind desk acted as if I was trying to pull a fast one on them, asking them to seal the tire. Horrendous attitude. Never gave me before and after paperwork on my alignment, low and behold car still pulled the same direction. They "resealed" the tire and charged me $25 to do it but apparently ignored the pinhole it had in its sidewall and it was flat again in 2 days. Another shop confirmed it. Will never return.

dzenondiz lo Had my car for a long time , didn’t look at it once , or order a part but had the nerve to quote me 2500$ These guys then threatened me and tried to get aggressive . Just go to pep boys or any other reputable shop ! They literally should be an oil and rotor change shop. They have no real mechanical skills just waste your time and overprice you for simple work.

Josh Selinsky The employees are guaranteed to help you in anyway they can. Absolutely professional and knowledgeable about your cars needs. They work with you with whatever your budget is. From fix ups to car sales, you wont find anywhere with a better prices along with amazing results!

Ivan Abreu Professional establishment with amazing communication. Certainly worth every cent, I’ll be sure to refer to them and bring all of my vehicles to them. Ask for Bill, he’ll be sure to take good care of you. Hard to find honest and transparent mechanics. They went above and beyond and did the little things that make doing business with them worthwhile. I’m happy I’ve found this location.

Erin Santana These guys are always straight forward about what is going on with my beloved Mini and the relative urgency of various repairs. As someone who knows little about cars and doesn’t always have a lot of cash to spend on maintenance, I have continued going to L & M even after moving away from the neighborhood because I know and trust them. They are not the cheapest, but every time I take my car to a cheaper shop they don’t know Mini’s and do a cheap job. L & M does quality work and tries to work within my budget as much as possible. I highly recommend them if you have a European car.

tracy barber Horribly rude and unprofessional. Went there about 15 years ago to get something out of a car that my friend (passenger) was in, that got towed to their shop and was in an accident. I drove all the way there and 5 grown men got in my face and screamed at me, while the old man cocked his fist like he was going to punch me (a woman). Then the younger guys got chest to chest with me and pushed me out the door. I still think about how I was treated years later.

Charley Bravo Ive included some before and after photos, because not only was the work quality, but the guys at the shop were so respectful and kept me well informed. They called me when they found more damage, as well as letting me know where they can help save me money. They wer courteous of my budget and even help save me money on my deductible :-) no doubt about it, Ill be bringing my car there from now on! Also I wanted to add, the mechanics there took the spray paint on the grill off by hand to give me a beautiful chrome grill that the previous owner had covered up. They went above and beyond, and I could not be happier

glo Terrible terribleee experience at this shop. The manager was rude and unprofessional from the start, completely dismissive and unwilling to take accountability when they messed up my car during service. To make things worse, they refused to pay for the damage they caused. On top of that, some of the staff were making my younger sisters extremely uncomfortable with the way they were staring at them. That is creepy and unacceptable behavior. Poor customer service, zero integrity, and absolutely no respect for their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT GO!

Adam Hovak I’ve been here a few times for muffler work on a few different vehicles. The guys are nice, straightforward and always give you a price up front and explain what you need. This is the only place I go for muffler work in the Utica area. Trustworthiness is hard to find. Get there early and you won’t have to wait much to get seen, and then wander down to Willie’s for breakfast while you wait.

Melanie I am very pleased with TP Brake & Muffler. I have been there multiple times and they always get me right in and keep me posted along the way with what they found with my vehicle. They are reasonably priced and the staff is very knowledgeable. They are very accommodating with my schedule and always find a way to fit me in. I highly recommend them for your vehicle needs.

P C Do not take your vehicle here! Caught them way over charging for parts and labor. Not once but twice. Ended up paying 600 more than I should have and over charged on the part by 8x (eight times). The second time we went to 3 different places for the same quote on the same parts and labor and all of them were about the same price at 550 while tallmans was going to charge over 1100. Have had my car already looked at and taken care of and the charged me the 550 not the 1100. This place gouges people and Im not really sure why its unfortunate because that is about 600 that we should have never spent. Will be looking into better business and small claims. Will be going through previous bills as well as I am sure they way over charged us there too. I can understand charging a little extra but hundreds of dollars more is not acceptable. Try somewhere else save yourself the hassle.

Cimbria Badenhausen I absolutely depend on Tallmans downtown shop. Anthony is always professional and welcoming to their diverse clientele. When my abs and brake warning light came on they quickly diagnosed the issue and were able to take care of it immediately. They stand by their work. I wouldnt go anywhere else and recommend them to all my friends.

This is not just his business and I have never been treated less than family. They keep their customers in the fronts of their minds with every problem that comes to them. Judy Muller I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Everyone there is fantastic from the person at the counter (I’m sorry I don’t know her name), To Samantha and Scott. I did not have any work done there because my car ended up being totaled, but the caring service is beyond excellent. There is such a welcoming feeling when you walk in the place. The waiting area is very comfortable. They have coffee, water, and lots of snacks, including a popcorn machine! Samantha went over everything with me in detail, thinking that I was going to have work done. I have had work done there years ago and it was fantastic, including having my car detailed when I picked it up! Scott helped me clean my car out and get the plates off. He gave me so much excellent information. This is a fantastic collision shop and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ashley Wratten I brought my car there I bought all the parts it needed myself and I ended up having to bring it somewhere else because the issue continued turns out longos stole my parts and never did the work. Out of like 10 things they only did 2 of them. I highly recommend you go somewhere else.

Katie Raymond I just purchased a vehicle from here. I understand that it was inexpensive but it was supposed to be fully inspected . Turns out that it should have never passed inspection by a long ways. I had to take it to my mechanic just two days after purchase and it had Two bad wheel bearings and ball joint that had to be replaced immediately because of how bad they were. The vehicle was completely unsafe to be sold. Even with the few fixes I made it has a multitude of problems and a bad oil leak. I don’t suggest purchasing through this dealer or trusting any of the vehicles on the lot .

Alexander La Parr I will say it was the last thing on my mind I just read that response from the owner who was in reply to a low star review. I can see he went into great depth with a little brat crying fit with attitude twords being outright insulting bc its most likely the only thing in honest words possible to be defensive for his company. I myself can confirm it with a similar story and price deal way to high for the abuse they tromp in a customer vehicle be it a work vehicle or not matters little to none to them. It might be the worst customer response from a owner Ive ever read and sickening to see proudly get posted publicly by a soposed professional adult.

Eric Lutz It’s hard to find a mechanic who knows what he’s doing and is friendly and professional. It’s almost *impossible* to find one willing to go that extra mile when the chips are down. On a day when they “just happened to be in the shop” they rescued our son broken down by the side of the road, were intelligent and experienced enough to call ahead for spare parts before they closed and got him fixed up and on the road faster than an F1 pit crew. Nothing but GREAT things to say about Fred Jacobs Auto Service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
