The owner Francis took my car in right away, and assigned one of the mechanics to work on the car. I must say Francis professionalism is uncanny and the customer service was excellent. Jason Took my Pathfinder in for service and was extremely impressed with the quality of service and attention to detail the mechanics took in order to figure out what was wrong with my front end and suspension. The price was reasonable and the work was done quickly with the car being ready for pickup by the end of the day. I definitely recommend and would go back. Great job! Keep up the great work. Stephen Franciosa I have a Honda with 127,000 miles on it that needed considerable front end work and alignment I got an estimate from the dealer and I got an estimate from another shop nearby. My tire guy recommended Bronx Auto Spring They gave me a very competitive estimate and right now my truck feels like it came out of the showroom. It drives beautifully straight as an arrow no more rattle or clanging or banging. They also did engine, mounts and a transmission mount . They have a very well trained mechanic crew. They are very nice and easy to deal with I recommend them highly and deservedly so

Jay Jay The transmission on my 2003 Dodge Carvan went out. Raph was able to get the parts and do the installation within a week. He kept me up to date on the process and was fully transparent in regards to the progress. He stands by his work and it shows. He is my go to mechanic going forward. Thanks Raph!

Jessica Whatts Since the original owner has left, this car mechanic has been no good, unprofessional, and unreliable. They do not calm responsibility for any work they do. They only function by appointment even for an inspection. They tell you one price then they call you with another. They say your car is "Gucci" and it still doesnt work right. My car since it has left the shop has the check engine light that goes on and off. When you ask for them to resolve they say you have to wait and that they did you a favor. When I paid my repairs it wasnt a favor it was a job. I recommend any new customers not to waste your time.

Luis Acosta I had an amazing experience at L Speedy Auto, located at 860 Castle Avenue in the Bronx. I brought in my Infiniti Q50 after being quoted a ridiculously high price by the dealership—nearly four times what it should have cost. I even tried taking it to another shop, but they couldn’t perform the work I needed. Then I found L Speedy Auto, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was outstanding. They took the time to explain everything clearly and treated me with professionalism and respect. Not only did they fix my car quickly and correctly, but they also saved me a ton of money in the process. beady2g The guy crack 2 of my sparks plugs and split two of my coil and didn’t put the compression valves back properly and everything was brand new brought from AutoZone with receipts. 79 for diagnostic and 230 for labour because I had to take a cab that was 35 to go get my own parts because they couldn’t….. to find out with a legit mechanic what they did what I said before.

Pedro Antonio Only issue I had was that I was given a 230-330 time slot. At 330 I texted back for an update and was told that the mechanic had an issue and they had to send another from 5-6. They were apologetic. I just wish it didn’t take me having to text and ask to get an update. The new one showed up at 5 on the dot. Recharged my car AC in 30 minutes and now it’s working great. Will def be using them again in the future since it looks like they do all types of services and them coming to me is so convenient

MORRISBOY Came here for a check-up because I was not sure about the old mechanic I had. But this guy here knows his shit, even fix things my old mechanic mess up, never more then 2 hour wait, they good people, only reason for 4 stars, place is dirty, but looks like people actually work here if you understand stand what i mean. Also, hours of business are wrong. its Saturday at 9 am and no one here. It seems like they are always opening late.

Kadeen Clarke They upcharge almost twice the value of the part and do not provide n itemize invoice for the services. They would give you the run around when you ask for documents and just tell you whatever price they feel fit. They over charge me by $300 one one service. Another customer complained about the same issue while I was waiting. I don’t recommend this place at all. They are friendly because they are getting over on the on customers. 0 recommended - the worse- even the boss, he is no better than Alex.

Melissa Herrera I went in for an engine light and they let me know what I should buy accordingly to the codes. They were very helpful and let me know the parts were cheaper on Amazon vs AutoZone. If the parts were not 4 times the Amazon price in AutoZone, I would have gotten my car serviced here.

Francisco Larios Small mechanic shop thats great for inspections and small and basic repairs. Benny mechanic is nice and explains things to you. I have been going to him from Manhattan to bronx for past few years . If you want a mechanic you trust I recommend it .

I always come back here because I know Im guaranteed good service and excellent prices. In an industry where scams and dishonesty are prevalent, these guys are rare. Their sincerity is appreciated. If they cant get a job done, theyll let you know before you start taking out your money. Ive never had to come back here because of a missing part or something new wrong with my car due to their error. Recently, I brought my car in for an oil change, busted breaks, and a snapped belt. Aaishah F One day my Mazda suddenly developed multiple problems — the power would shut off as I started it, I needed jumps constantly, and it was just unreliable. I couldn’t get an appointment at the Mazda dealership for over a month and a half, so I had to find another solution. I know Mazdas can be tricky cars to work on, so I was cautious. I spoke to the mechanic’s daughter, and she reassured me that her father was experienced with Mazdas. I brought my car in, and they diagnosed it as needing a new alternator. After they replaced it, I drove away but the car shut down again later. It turned out the starter also needed replacing. Overall, I thought the service was excellent. Margarita went above and beyond—she picked me up and dropped me off at my house so I didn’t have to pay for an Uber. Their communication was great; Margarita even sent me videos of the parts being replaced, so I felt informed about what was happening to my car. My only concern was having to pay for labor twice within two days. After the alternator was replaced, I paid almost $800. Then I had to tow the car back when it stopped again, and replacing the starter cost me another $1000. I wish the starter issue could have been caught earlier to save me the extra labor and towing costs, but I understand that starters don’t always show signs of failure in advance and this isn’t a Mazda dealership with their specialized diagnostic tools. All in all, I really liked this shop. They were professional, helpful, and honest. I’ll definitely go back if I need work done again. Just know that if you have a car like mine (Mazda), it’s sometimes impossible to predict every issue without dealership-level diagnostics. Thank you to the team—I appreciate your hard work and kindness!

Rosechell Spencer III I took my vehicle in about 2 weeks ago to identify and fix a coolant leak. I arrived with an appointment. I fully expected the fix to take 1.5 days. To my surprise he finished just before closing! This is a good thing. I waited before I left a review so I could get a sense if the leaks fixed. It seems to be fixed. He showed me the original part he replaced without prompting. He seems honest, upright (refuses to speak badly of others possible work), and provided a business card. I think I found a good mechanic. I would recommend this shop!

I was recommended to this shop by a close friend I did a little background check and read a couple of reviews before deciding to go. The quality of work performed exceeded my expectations. My oil change was completed promptly also my brake pads and rotors were replaced at the same time. Shawn B I went to this shop this morning 3/18-2025 first I calling while I was sitting in front of the shop someone picked up we was talking and he hung up on me so I got out the car and ask them hey can you help with the guy ignored me I ask him can I come in he told me NO! I’m like no so I asked are you guys open he said yes! And right after that he walked off and closed the gate back down Horrible service they are disrespectful!!! And I guess because I wasn’t Spanish that they treated me like that DON’T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE UNLESS U ARE SPANISH JUST TERRIBLE AT ITS FINEST AND THEY ARE RACIST!!! FOR DAMN SURE!!!!

His son changed my oil pressure sensor and forgot to top my oil had to come back to the shop. This shop has the potential but lacks the will.

We had a CTS back then definitely a money saver, creditable mechanics who gave honest advice that yielded the results expected. Very informed including the Queen of the shop. Zena G. This is my third or fourth time patronizing Uptown Motors NYC and each time I’m a satisfied customer. The customer service with management when inquiring is top notch and once your vehicle is actually in their possession, the service is unmatched. I bought my vehicle in around 10am for brake pad replacements. The mechanic Richard was available right away, informative and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Richard handled my work with care and in no time. By 3pm my car was serviced and I was back home. Anytime I go to Uptown Motors I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of and it’s why will continue to use them and recommend the company to others. The prices are fair and the service, as far as I’ve seen is great.
