5 /5 Howard Abramovitz: Nobody does a better job on hair than Dao. In her unassuming salon, she gives one of the best cuts in the entire NYC Metro Area. Her knowledge of color and process is unsurpassed. Her positive attitude and care make her one of a kind. She is simply the best there is.

5 /5 Su Si: I have been going to Dao ever since my mom brought me to her (when she worked for another salon) to get my hair done before my 8th grade dance (many years ago). I have since continued to go to her throughout the years as she worked from home & opened up her own place (also years ago now:). I have been to other stylists throughout the years, whenever I lived away from Long Island or randomly tried a Groupon, in order to save a buck or two. But, going to Dao is worth every dollar spent. She puts her heart & soul into her work, every time. She is the one I recommended to all of my family members who came from abroad for my wedding because I knew that they all had high expectations. She is constantly going to classes and alway knowledgable of the newest and latest products & methods. Dao is, hands-down, the best.

She is so patient, and she is extremely knowledgeable about color, style, products, etc. She wants you to be happy and takes the time with you to make sure she understands what you want. She explains everything, answers any question, and she does an amazing job on your hair. What more could you ask for?

5 /5 Abigail Soper: Had my hair cut and colored by Dao. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and keeps asking throughout the process to make sure she gets it right. Very rare to find someone who takes that much care to ensure you get what you want. Dao did an excellent job on my haircut and high lights. I wanted a natural look to my high lights and she did just that.

My hair was completely grey and I’m still young but had given up on coloring for a while.She took time to carefully make my hair look natural in color and even gave it a look as if I had highlighted it.Dao will work with you on everything .Dao is truly the best and a pleasure to talk with.I am so happy,Thank you!!!!
