5 /5 LoMo Phillips: So glad I found my curly hair salon in NYC! The salon was clean, chill, and large. Marianna did a fantastic job with my hair and took the time to give lots of tips on how I could style it better. She did the PERFECT hair cut - did away with the split ends, but still kept the length. I felt very well taken care of, and while a bit more pricey, I think it was well worth it given the entire experience. Will definitely be keeping Christo as my go-to salon!

His kindness made the whole experience so enjoyable, and I left his chair feeling confident and truly in love with my natural curls again. I can’t recommend Igor enough. he’s a true expert and just an all-around wonderful person!

5 /5 Tal Cohen: I am very hesitant when going to new hair salons but I when googling different places I found Christo 5th Ave and after seeing all the glowing reviews constantly mentioning Igor, I decided to impulsively book my appointment. I am so happy I did. I don’t have a Before photo of my hair but the after speaks for itself. He cut my layers super naturally and still kept my hair long, which other stylists I have been to in the past have always struggled to do. He was also super helpful and patient and made sure to ask me what issues I had and wanted to fix with my hair. I love how he made my hair just look better and feel healthier. All my friends have just been constantly complimenting my hair without realizing I even got a haircut. Before Igor cut my hair, I was feeling really frustrated with how my hair would look and I definitely wasn’t getting as many compliments as I am now. So grateful to him and will definitely be back!

As someone with type 4 natural hair, I’m usually very hesitant about going to professional salons because I’m so protective of my hair. But I decided to trust Christo Fifth Avenue for a color and blowout, and I’m so glad I did. Igor, my stylist, was incredible— efficient, and so knowledgeable about how to care for my hair type. He made me feel completely at ease, and the process was smooth from start to finish. No hair loss, no pulling, and absolutely no rough handling. On top of that, Igor was so friendly, and we had great conversation throughout the appointment. I’m in love with the color (reddish auburn) and can you believe no bleach was used!! If you have type 4 hair and don’t know where to go come here and ask for Igor!! I couldn’t be happier with the results! * a before and after of my hair is included
