Marianna did a fantastic job with my hair and took the time to give lots of tips on how I could style it better. She did the PERFECT hair cut - did away with the split ends, but still kept the length. I felt very well taken care of, and while a bit more pricey, I think it was well worth it given the entire experience. Will definitely be keeping Christo as my go-to salon!

5 /5 Tal Cohen: I am very hesitant when going to new hair salons but I when googling different places I found Christo 5th Ave and after seeing all the glowing reviews constantly mentioning Igor, I decided to impulsively book my appointment. I am so happy I did. I don’t have a Before photo of my hair but the after speaks for itself. He cut my layers super naturally and still kept my hair long, which other stylists I have been to in the past have always struggled to do. He was also super helpful and patient and made sure to ask me what issues I had and wanted to fix with my hair. I love how he made my hair just look better and feel healthier. All my friends have just been constantly complimenting my hair without realizing I even got a haircut. Before Igor cut my hair, I was feeling really frustrated with how my hair would look and I definitely wasn’t getting as many compliments as I am now. So grateful to him and will definitely be back!

As someone with type 4 natural hair, I’m usually very hesitant about going to professional salons because I’m so protective of my hair. But I decided to trust Christo Fifth Avenue for a color and blowout, and I’m so glad I did. Igor, my stylist, was incredible— efficient, and so knowledgeable about how to care for my hair type. He made me feel completely at ease, and the process was smooth from start to finish. No hair loss, no pulling, and absolutely no rough handling. On top of that, Igor was so friendly, and we had great conversation throughout the appointment. I’m in love with the color (reddish auburn) and can you believe no bleach was used!! If you have type 4 hair and don’t know where to go come here and ask for Igor!! I couldn’t be happier with the results! * a before and after of my hair is included

Kate V: I came to Lilly to get my roots touched up, as well as to fix orange banding from a previous colorist. She recommended we do a keratin treatment for blondes, which I’m glad I did because it helped prevent hair breakage and loss during the bleach treatment. My hair felt amazing! She then fixed the banding and touched up my roots which was an incredibly difficult task because my hair was in very bad shape, with various shades of blonde and yellow and lots of breakage. Not only did she fix it without any breakage, she did it in about 3 hours! Usually my double process takes 5+ hours. And my hair felt soft, when usually bleaching will make it feel dry. Her salon space was very clean, she was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to my concerns/ communication. I don’t have great pictures but I’m including before and after photos.

We did detox, moisturizing treatments along with some scalp massages. My stylist, Beau, was super attentive from water temperature to how I wanted to style my hair…. Look at how pretty she made my hair looks!! Love my experience at Maison with Beau!! Give her a shout!! You will be happy that you did!!

I got a double process coloring from elsewhere that resulted in terribly brassy, orangish hair, and wanted it toned to a more natural brown to fit my skin tone. Jacob showed me different shades of toning that was available, communicated efficiently on what I wanted, and delivered the perfect result! The entire process took about 2 hours and was so smooth & comfortable :) Will definitely return in the future & highly recommend to others!

Diana C Vallejos: I had a pleasant experience overall— read if you are peculiar about processes. The owner, David, took great care of me. He was very hospitable and did a lovely job with the coloring of my hair —he works very fasts! Which almost makes up for the fact that we got started on my hair 45min past my confirmed appointment, that I paid a $20 deposit for. Heads up ladies! If you are shy around men, you should know they have a man doing the hair washing. This took me back at first but, he was surprisingly very gentil and did a phenomenal job! I 10/10 recommend the young man for your wash. What I did NOT appreciate, was that I asked and **paid** for a blowout but David’s team insisted that flat iron curls were a better option “for the sake of the pictures”, huh?— it definitely was not the look I was going for... Anyways, with all that being said. Even though they aren’t great with stinking to a schedule, I can work past that because David is very talented and I want to believe his team meant well. With better communication I am positive my next experience will be 10/10.
