5 /5 Lorraine Wong: I was just in town visiting, but REALLY needed my hair colored. I was staying in the area and this had the highest reviews… I can totally see why! Once you get up to the 7th floor, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and all of the staff are super friendly. I made an appointment for cut and color and by luck, I got Michelle (the owner), for my color. My home colorist was making it too brassy and I needed to tone it down, but still have a nice dynamic shade. Michelle totally nailed it. The haircut with Paulina was equally amazing. She cleaned up my layers and gave me a cool, modern update to my haircut that moves really well. I’d say it’s expensive (because I’m not from the area) but I think this is what most salons in the area charge, so I don’t think it’s a negative. And of course, you get what you pay for. I also just saw their Insta page and think Blake Lively was just here and I always think she has such gorgeous color. Worth a visit!

5 /5 emily wu: Mohammed gave me the lilac hair that I have been wanting! My hair was already prelightened from years of bleach and I definitely did not want to further damage it. The communication on my desired hair color (I didn’t want it to be too intense or bold) without compromising the health of my hair was thorough and appreciated. He is super chill and very sweet. Very happy with the outcome! Def recommend a color session with him. :)

5 /5 Sudalakshmee Chiniah: Got my color done with Rae and my haircut with Paulina. Absolutely loved my experience with both. I’m a brunette and was worried about bleaching my hair but Rae took her time to talk to me and explain the process, she did the color exactly how I wanted it. I am so pleased with her! She checked again after I got my haircut! I will see Rae and Paulina again! It’s a bit pricy but worth it!!!

2 /5 SFC: The service at the salon was great, but I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of my hair color. As a Black woman, I take a lot of pride in my hair and put significant trust in trying a new salon. Unfortunately, the color turned out too yellow and patchy, which was not what I expected. To make matters worse, I believe I had an allergic reaction to the products used. When I reached out to the salon, they offered to fix the color but refused to provide a refund or even a partial refund, despite the damage done to my hair. If you’re a woman of color, I would recommend going to a salon that understands how to work with natural hair and caters to your specific needs. I spent $700 for a result I’m truly unhappy with, and it was a disappointing experience overall. I hope the salon can use this feedback to improve their approach.

5 /5 Birdy Santana: Ive been here before for a fabulous cut by Jacelyn-amazing sense of style and gave me exactly what i wanted-face framing layers and texture. Very detailed and its already growing out beautifully! After the amazing experience, i asked her to recommend someone to do my highlights and she didnt think twice to recommend Rae Ann. I shared my inspiration photo, and Rae Ann delivered! I wanted subtle chocolate brown highlights but enough that it would show off my black hair. She nailed it and it looks completely effortless and so damn natural! Forget the fact that she was a pleasure to chat with and made the experience one of the best along with Jacelyns cut. I highly recommend both! All worth it! They have a client for life. Thank you Jacelyn and Rae Ann, i look and feel amazing!
